Spicy chicken sandwich, elite, jalapeno honey mustard, and Thai iced coffee
    Isaac A.

The staff was super friendly and the food came out so fast! I really enjoyed the Thai iced coffee and could stop in here just for that. The spicy chicken sandwich was really good. I got a side of jalapeno honey mustard that also paired well with it. The elite was ok, but I'd tryba different side next time. The art on the walls was really fun also, especially the large wall. I didn't scan the QR codes near the canvas items, but I assume those were for sale and a few caught my eye. Parking was easy and it's all right by the children's hospital.

I have seen Kickin Chicken when they were a mini food truck collaborating with a boba shop but never got the chance to try it. When I was visiting the hospital, I passed by and saw the location so I had to stop by (I didn't even know they had a physical location). Holy cow, I'm so sad I didn't try it earlier. The chicken tenders are so good along with the jalapeño bubble waffle (sadly didn't take a picture of it). Everything was very flavorful and I like that I can adjust the heat level so it was mild and good for my digestion. I need to come back and try the coleslaw. I also ordered the churros and they were so tasty. A nice dessert treat. I did take mines to go and I had to make a detour so my food was quite soft. So if you're planning to not eat it right away, throw it in the air fryer to reheat it. Overall, space is quite large and lots of natural light. There's plenty of seating. Cannot wait to come back!

I was in the Denver area recently and saw the good reviews for Kickin chicken so we decided to stop in. The building was very clean. Everyone we interacted with was very nice. And I really liked all of the Kickin chicken decor. For an entrée, I decided to go with the chicken sandwich. I liked that it was on Texas toast and the bread held up really well. The crispy chicken thigh was so tender and juicy. And I'm normally not a fan of slaw, but I liked the slaw on the sandwich. The sandwich was also really big and it even comes with a side. For a side, I got the Elotes. They were OK. They definitely give you a hefty portion. But I didn't get an elote feeling from it. I wish there was some more sauce. I did try a french fry and they were OK. In the future, I would try the fried rice as a side because someone dining nearby ordered that and it looked phenomenal. I ordered a Thai iced tea to drink, and it was sweet and refreshing and a great accompaniment to my meal. And for dessert, I had to get some churro bites. Those were fantastic. I had to take some with me because I was so full from my meal. I will definitely stop by again if I'm in that area in the future and I highly recommend that you stop in and have a delicious meal.

*They are located near the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. This is a must for lunch or dinner. The staff gets a 5 for being over the top with their friendly customer service -The food gets 5. The why- The burgers & fries are crazy good! We will be back. I want to try the curry fries next time.

Someone recommended me to try Kickin Chicken, and I'm sure glad they did! The people at the front counter were really nice, and the mini art museum inside was impeccable. I decided on the chicken and waffles with spicy chicken, and fried rice as a side. I do wish they offered more than just the 2 tenders, the jalapeño cheddar bubble waffle was a little too soft, and the fried rice could've had a bit more moisture it was kinda dry (this is me being picky though because the rice was very flavorful.) The chicken had a sweet spicy sauce that came with it that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I will definitely be back!

Stumbled upon this new Kickin Chicken restaurant when I had to exit 225 during a rainstorm. I popped in for a snack, and I absolutely can't wait to be back! Simple menu, but many options for sauce and spiciness level. I got an order of chicken tenders, the kickin sauce (a house sauce- VERY much recommend) and the honey mustard. Juicy, crunchy tenders fried to perfection. The elote Mexican street corn was also yummy. Can't wait to try their other side dishes.

Staff was super friendly and checked in with us multiple times. The chicken tenders were huge portions and the kickin sauce was incredible!

This place was delicious. We tried quite a number of things on the menu and nothing was disappointing. I love the feel of the restaurant. It was large open space and very clean. The customer service was on point. We were there probably in the last 30 minutes of them being open and they still made us feel welcome and not like we were bothering them. The chicken was delicious and so was the Elote and so is the fried rice is absolutely no complaints. Everything was great. We also got the bread pudding, which is slightly unmemorable to me so I would have to try it again. The next time I go because I didn't take a picture. Can't wait to try again.

The restaurant options keep growing by the UCHealth Anschutz campus and Kickin Chicken is a great option for fried comfort food. The service was outstanding, the food tasty and flavor for fast casual. Only complaint is it's a little pricey for lunch ($36 for two entrees with sides and a soda). We got the chicken sandwich and the Katsu chicken options The portions were generous and we definitely had leftovers. The macaroni salad was a great (included) side with the katsu chicken. The chicken sandwich was delicious and just too much food, for lunch. Love the Texas toast "bun." Kickin Chicken was clean and quiet with plenty of space. Again, the service was outstanding, the staff was friendly and very considerate. We will put this in our rotation for meal options when our days are spent at the Anshutz campus. Giving five stars for the good food, service and clean atmosphere.

New place that just open it was on my saved list. Close to work decided to give it a try. I got the chicken tenders and a side of mac salad. Came with 2 sauces and i got thai tea. The chicken delish. Hot, fresh and juicy. The tender was well seasoned. Didn't even need dipping sauce. I got mild for the heat level. I for some reason got my hopes up on the mac salad. It was ok. Definitely will go back to try other sides. The service was great took my order food made fresh.

Huge portion, great price, good food, friendly people, clean! What else can you ask for!?

Best chicken tenders I've had in a while! They somehow found a way to make the outside perfectly crunchy while keeping the meat inside soft and juicy. The breaded spice levels are great and the side sauces pair so well! I definitely recommend their house kickin sauce. Quick service and tons of open seating.

Skip the hospital food and have your visitors stop by here first. If you've been to their location in Lakewood, you know that you're gonna get great food. They have a small menu, but everything that they make is tasty and comes in filling portions. We got three items prior to an appointment at Children's Hospital nearby. Their sandwich was juicy and my side of mac salad was creamy and refeshing. My wife got the Katsu and it was delicious as well. We also got tenders for my son's nurse. Staff was quick and attentive. Definitely gonna make this a regular place for when my son is in the hospital.

Had the worst restaurant experience here i've had in a long time. Not just from the food but from…read morethe deceitful charges, and what felt like a payment scam. Unfortunately despite having enjoyed their menu in the past, I DO NOT recommend anyone come here; if you do ask for a paper receipt and pay in cash to ensure you're not being overcharged. ((Full Details Below)) We loved this location due to the delicious chicken and fries, but have not been here in over a year since the new management. We ordered a whole chicken (10 pieces of chicken variety $28.99 with 2 sauces +$1 each sauce, Large Fries $7.99 + $1.00 for flavor rub, and one soft drink $2.99). The menu is slightly different than from what we remember so we asked for advice, one of the sauces came recommended by the waitress. Note that we already knew the price range and already expected to drop $45-60 for two people, including the tip. We get our food, 5 one sauce 5 another sauce, strongly disliked one of the flavors, we couldn't eat it. Ate the other 5 pieces, it was delicious. We ask if it was possible to switch the 5 pieces of chicken for another flavor, they said since they cannot take the chicken back to the kitchen they won't/cannot switch them with a different flavor, but if we place another order of chicken they will give us 20% off. We decline, we'll just eat the 5 pieces we did like and leave the ones we didn't. Oh well right? That's life. Waitress comes back and says they will give us a discount on the chicken. That's nice of them, thank you! She comes while i'm still munching with an electronic pay pad, no itemized receipt like at other restaurants, points the machine to my fiance to tap his card. Total is $47.something she says, I tell her i'm paying cash so please bring us a paper receipt. She leaves, my fiance comments "that seems high" me, i didn't notice at all. Waitress comes back with the paper receipt and we begin doing our own calculations. I notice that they charged us for two half chickens (16.99 each) instead of what we ordered which was a whole chicken with 2 sauces ($28.99, $1 each sauce = $30.99) That's a $3 dollar difference, in which we are overpaying by $3 than what we had originally ordered. Waitress tries to explain to us that they removed our original order to discount the chicken, but that still doesn't reason why they are charging us for TWO half chickens instead of just discounting off the whole chicken order we originally place. She says it's because it's one sauce so half of the chicken, so half chicken charge. Then we tell her that even with the discount, the way they are charging us for two half chickens cancels out the discount and we are still overpaying at the end compared to our original order. We tell them to remove their discount, we don't want it and to charge us for the whole chicken that we had ordered originally. Waitress goes back to talk to the manager and then comes back and "corrects" the problem giving us a 50% on one of the half chicken orders. This time we weren't overpaying, but they still never corrected the order to reflect our original whole chicken order, keeping the two half chicken orders. At the end if we hadn't noticed we would have left overpaying for a meal we didn't enjoy. The part that is most upsetting is that we were not rude to anyone, just told them we disliked the sauce, accepted when they said they wouldn't switch it out, we didn't ask for a discount, they offered it. Note we still tipped after this. I don't know if this was done on purpose but what I can say is that we felt deceived, we will not be coming here despite this being a staple food spot for our relationship. Very sad.

The sandwich was okay as well, not really spicy at all even though the description said "Fried Thigh, Habanero Oil, Cheddar, Jalapeño Slaw, Mayo, and Comeback Sauce on a Toasted Bun." Habanero is spicy and that was not Cheddar biscuits were okay but the fried pickles were very good. Heavy brined/sour/salty pickles! Clean restaurant as well

I brought my son and a family member to Waldo's one Saturday evening. No line to order food, but the bar was full, so we ordered and were seated right away. Things we liked: The mac & cheese was the best thing on the table. Tasty with good texture and plenty of cheese both in the sauce and melted on top. Kiddo reports that the tenders were great and the fries "ok." He cleaned up the former. I appreciate the beer selection. They have some solid local brews to go with the corporate swill. Everyone wins. I enjoyed my Avery Maharaja. They have plenty of TVs if that's what you are into. Service was patient, prompt, and courteous when ordering food. Not so thrilled: Adults were disappointed in the bone-in fried chicken. It's why we came to Stapleton for dinner. Oily and overcooked, one piece each was too much. It was closer to a TV dinner than a place like Tom's Home Cookin (RIP). I know this is a chain, but the quality and taste were not up to par. Noise was suited for a sports bar environment, but wasn't unbearable. Beer and food are ordered in separate locations. I stood where it says to order, then waited 10 minutes to be served. One person ahead of me, two struggling behind the bar, which was full and getting all the attention. My son came looking for me. It's their model. I just don't like it. Waldo's offers good beer, decent tenders/sides, and an upbeat vibe. It's hard to not rate it better, but the fried chicken was a huge letdown. I'd go back for a beer and snack if in the area again with watching sports on the brain.
