I'm shocked by the bad reviews. I came here last summer for a 6 month maintenance check after many people in my neighborhood recommended them. He told me I needed new brakes - sent photos and explained the issue, AI told me the same when I uploaded the photos. I came back after my catalytic converter was stolen last week and I've already picked up my repaired car -a different shop took 3 weeks last time it was stolen. He made everything as easy as possible and clearly looks out for his customer. I will definitely be back. read more

This review is long overdue. Ahmet is personally a great guy and took care of *everything*. I mean absolutely everything! He called the insurance companies, took care of the pictures being taken, shuttled my wife and kids home after dropping off the car, took care of the remaining small details with the insurance company, scheduled insurance pictures, etc. We literally didn't have to know or do anything. I barely said one word to the insurance companies. He took care of the whole process from start to finish, and he did it in a very friendly, personable way. He's a family man, and he understands how busy families can be. Likes kids (and people like that are always good in my book!) We've been here twice now and both times Ahmet and his staff were proactive, helpful, competent, friendly, and gave top-notch customer service. I can't think of a single bad thing to say, so I'm giving Khizer Collision 5 stars: "as good as it gets". read more

Went to Khizer to get my oil changed. They told me they needed 15 minutes. I asked if I could leave my car by them for 15 minutes while I grabbed a bagel next door- they said no, there's no parking (there was literally parking everywhere). Said okay I'll come back in 15. Drove across the street, returned in exactly 15 minutes. Asked them about the oil change and was then told an additional half hour because I didn't wait inside my car in one of the parking spots they said didn't exist. Bottom line: Don't give business to these jerks; there's literally car service places directly adjacent to them that will give you the time of day and non-moronic service. read more

Came in for a very simple sensor repair. Ended up telling me many things were wrong with the car and I bought his pitch - well over 1k in repairs. Then, after getting the car back, it is in broken in ways it was never before to the point where it's not even drivable. I brought it back, he said he knew what the problem was (something with the way he did the repairs) and that he fixed it. Of course, it has not been fixed. This has been going on for months now. Avoid this place at all costs, not worth it. edit: A new mechanic found out what was wrong. The idiots at "Khizer" installed the spark plugs incorrectly. read more

The most rudest mechanic shop that I have ever gone to. The Pakistani mechanic was extremely rude offensive. Not only did they try to rip me off but was extremely hostile. By far the worst experience that I have ever had with any mechanical shop. The owner does not try to rectify the situation. I'm appalled that they have such a rude mechanics working in there. Avoid this shop at all costs they are bunch of rip off I will not recommend this shop to any of my family or friends. read more

Bought a used car very cheaply knowing it would likely need some work to pass inspection - or scrape by inspection, with work needed to be done in the near future. Ended up being sent here by the owner who works out of the Coney Island @ Beverley Road location, to get the state inspection done. Car unfortunately needed a lot more work than expected to pass, but the Khizer guys & the owner were great, they explained all that needed doing as well as showing us exactly what they would do & where the problems were. The owner gave us a great deal, which included the inspection fees, parts, labor, etc. & the work was all done within 24hrs (we called around while deciding if this was a good deal, being new at this & asked other mechanics & body shops who wanted $300-500 more, minus the inspection fees). read more

Total rip off. Went for a price quote. And without even looking at the price of the part or the amount of time it takes to install, I get a quote higher than my bmw dealer. I said it's only a $60 part from bmw and takes 1.5 hour to install. He didn't budge on his price. Went down down to Tee Transmission & Auto Repair on Foster avenue and McDonald Avenue and paid $190 while he quoted $475. read more

Great place, called ahead on thanksgiving and was surprised they were open. Abu was very helpful over the phone. I came in around two thirty and they performed my NYS inspection in less than ten min. Just completely satisfied with the service and can't believe they were open when no one else was in the Midwood area. read more

Great services offered by this mechanic shops, I got into an accident and half of the payment was covered by my insurance but the mechanics worked with me to insure that I pay the least as I can. Got provided with a rental for free too. read more

Worst places ever. The workers/hustlers lie in your face. The owner pretends not to be the owner. They changes my alternator and basically over charged for it. They have charged me $325 for a REBUILT one. Two days after the alternator didn't work and they said they cant do anything. I said there's a 1 year warranty on the receipt and they just hung up the phone. The next day I've sent my employee who's happen to be an Afro-american, when he asked for solution for the problem mentioning the warranty on the receipt they told him there's nothing they can do and just told him to get out. After he got out one worker came out and called him the N word. He was insulted by the racist employee. I don't recommend to anyone to get their car repaired over there.
