I don't even eat fast food but then to want to have this twice since they're running this special is beyond me. 2 pieces special leg and thigh with a side and biscuit is what I ask for so I expect for it to look like the whole pieces on the commercial right? Worst service. When they took the order, we wanted the $30 fill up. They told us it was unavailable. So we ordered a $20 with a 3 piece tender. So they had the items, just wanted to charge more. They never asked if it was original or crispy. We wanted crispy, they gave us original. We asked for original, they told us no. Since when does the food place tell me what I want to eat? We wanted to swap one of the two mashed potatoes for something else (other kfc just up charge a dollar for swapping), they said no, can't do that. The chicken tenders were small. Laughably small. The crispy chicken we eventually got after telling them to just cancel the order. It was dry, nasty tasting. Just one of the worst experiences ever. If this place shuts down, it's their own fault. Managers don't care about quality at all. Better off firing everyone, doing a remodel and hiring all new staff. Ordered online and still had to wait in drive thru. Also, missing all sides. They tossed some stuff in a bag, and said I was good to go. They put in a small fry and that was it. Ok? I mentioned that my order is not correct and I was asked to pull ahead and wait. I waited for about 20 minutes and did not get my food until I physically went into restaurant to ask about it. They're more freaked that I walked in versus providing service. Within a minute of going in, my food came out. The poor dude who was on his dinner break is who they made deliver my correct order. stopped to pick up an order of honey bbq wings this afternoon. When i got them home (4 miles), i discovered they were cold and tough, obviously cooked well before i got them. They also had not been coated with honey bbq, rather they were "naked" but KFC was kind enough to give me three small containers of sauce. Apparently, KFC has become a fan of "do-it-yourself." We saw an offer on TV from KFC for $20 you got an eight-piece dinner with four biscuits and two sides. We could have had Grub Hub deliver it but choose to go to the restaurant. Once there we placed our order and we're told they would not honor it but for two dollars more we basically could get the same thing. We placed our order only to be told it would be fifteen minutes or thirty for extra crispy. My complaint is the way the staff treated us and the rudeness. We are told to support our local businesses during this time in our country. Well someone should tell the staff at this location. They don't have to worry about us because we will not be back. Competition is to great for a customer to be treated rudely and an employee who doesn't care if you supported them or not. I've been in the restaurant business for forty years and believe me there would be some people looking for a new job. I will share thing with anyone who will listen about this KFC. read more

Very few of the fast food chains haven't turned their food into pure slop, but KFC has managed to stay decent. You can stop into most KFC's around the country and get a decent meal. This particular location is new, and puts out an ok meal. read more

Arrived at 10:45 and they still were not open. I knocked on the door. A very rude employee opened the door. I asked why they still were not open. She rudely replied that they were short staffed. She said they hadn't even started cooking the chicken. I left a review on another site, and never was contacted. Worst experience ever! There were feathers on the wings that came in my 12 piece bucket!! Gross! When I returned them to the store, Brenda, shift supervisor was clueless. She said, we will have to retrain someone! Really? Not just one person processed this chicken. If this is not being done that I can see, (feathers sticking up through breading), what's not being done that I can't see! Brenda also never asked for my name or contact information so a manager, or someone, with authority could get back to me. I'm feeling this was never reported, and went no where. Went thru drive thru tonight. When asked I placed my order followed by a good 60 seconds of dead silence . I added a side order of Mac and cheese and an order of biscuits (4). Once home I started to dish out dinner to discover there was NO gravy with our mashed potatoes AND the extra order of biscuits were not there either. We ate what we had and it was good, just not all there. I decided to call really to just let them know they screwed up but they would not answer the phone. I called again around 6:15 to still no answer. Apparently there needs to be an responsible adult to supervise the young kids as it seems they can't be trusted to do their job on their own. I feel like I'm telling my dirty little secret, but I like KFC. The trick is finding one that does things the way the Colonel did. Central Ave in Sylvania is the only location I will go to. Compared to the others in Toledo it is very clean, my food is hot and I get the right count of chicken pieces. After a long day of traveling we wanted to get a fast meal and get home. So we decided to go to this KFC and go home. But when we arrived no one was working the drive through. So we sat there for a couple minutes while the person in front of us was getting impatient. The person in front of us finally left and we pulled up. We noticed that there was a sign that said they opened at noon so we knew they were open because it was around 8:00. We then sat there for 5 more minutes in silence waiting for somone to talk to us through the machine. Then we called the KFC to ask if they could work there drive through. We didn't get any answer but then out of no where the person working there told us "We will not have any chicken ready for 45 minutes." This lady working the drive through said it in a rude manner and very quickly. Also I do not understand how a chicken fast food restaurant doesn't have any chicken ready after 8 hours of being open! This location is relatively new, 1 to 2 yrs old. I have purchased bucket meals there at least 5 times. Only once was the food decent. The problem, as with all poorly managed KFC restaurants, is one of freshness. The food lays in the trays and drys out. Severely dries out. Today I purchased an eight piece bucket and even the biscuits were crunchy, crunchy through and through. The chicken skin/coating was dark and the meat very dry. My wife and I each ate one piece of chicken and threw the rest of the food out. My wife typically loves KFC biscuits and she had to put the one she ate in the microwave to soften it up. The rest went into the trash. The food had just been sitting around too long. This is the problem with KFC food any more. Back when the Colonel was alive the food was fresh. But then a corporation took over and now it's all about profits. A good bottom line. Don't waste your time or money at this location and probably at any of the other locations. read more

Pathetic! This is the worst KFC I've ever been too. The food is either stale or almost raw (if they have the food). Inside filthy usually. Tried 6 times in the last month to get EC breasts in any form box, indv. they never have (from 5pm to 7pm even)and dont even ask if you want to wait , its just we dont have bye. Its mostly the manager I believe , she said to me not her fault she runs out every day nothing she can do about it (like order more or cook more) . I would warn people from eating here for health reasons, this place is obviously not checked by corporate. And anyone like the owner or corporate reading, the employees always have you pull up away from window even if your the only one in line because they are so slow and dont want Corp to know the actual DT times. Emp actually said to me to pull up because she didnt want the timer to show how long it took. Corporate get off the desk chair and do something would you.
