We went for Saturday brunch and was surprised by their menu choices from all over the world. There, customer service was exemplary. We sat up on the porch because it was nice out. The waitress was personable, helpful, and courteous to my allergies. Will definitely go back again maybe to try eating inside and try more good tasting foods off their eclectic menu. read more

Overall the experience was okay, the food was good. I can't complain about that, I was just taking back because I had to the Caesar dressing on myself, places I typically go already have it on there. But it was good. I had the Cajun chicken to my salad which a prefect touch. The loaded tots were awesome I love the cheese and the tots weren't soggy. They cooked them perfectly. My guest had the shawarma plate with chicken and fattoush salad. She enjoyed her meal as well. The only issue that really lacked was the service. I was debating whether I should give 3 or 4 stars because of the service but I will just say she was busy and give another chance. I will definitely come back and try them again. Everything had some great flavors. read more

It was a beautiful day so we chose the outdoor seating. We were seated quickly and with great customer service. We ordered the drinks and the food at the same time. Drinks came first and the food shortly thereafter. My favorite on the flight was the Celeste. It had fig and brown sugar. It was delightful and delicious not overwhelming sweet. It was a pleasant tasting mimosa. The food was as good as I expected it to be, especially considering there are only two vegan options. I will keep coming back. read more

Not bad. The food was tasty and the patio area to eat outside had a nice vibe in a somewhat vibrant bit of Toledo downtown. Service wasn't very attentive. But other than that, this was a good breakfast. read more

The menu was interesting and thought this is going to be good. Not very impressed for the quality of the food here. The potato pancake (Latke) absolutely not edible thick pancake of shredded potatoes then deep fried. It looked like a fat burger that was tossed in a fryer. Green peppers in omelet were sour and bad. I would guess this place is never too busy and see how they stay open. The food scene has continued to fail us in the past few years. read more

Non proprio italiano aka meaning not really Italian This was my first time at the restaurant , and as an active Yelper, I had high hopes since I was celebrating my friend's birthday. We got seated at 1:03 PM on a busy Sunday. The atmosphere was lively, but they had loud music playing a mix of rap and country. I'm in my early 30s, so I understand the vibe, but my friends are middle-aged, and it was a bit too noisy for them. I ordered the BLT, thinking it would be a solid choice. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed super disappointed it wasn't Zaza at all meaning Delicious or tasty !!!! The bread wasn't toasted at all, which made me sad I didn't even eat it. I understand this place leans towards an Italian style, but please just use regular bread make it more Traditional thanks. The chips that came with the sandwich were very tasty super zaza! and I would definitely order them as a side just with the mimosas. However, the bacon felt a bit dry and was piled on a bit too much, which made the whole thing feel rushed smh. As for the service, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. The server only came to check on me once for water that's it felt lacklustre. The best part of the experience was definitely the mimosas. I'm willing to give this place another try soon, but I have to admit that the noise and music made it hard on any Sunday for me. My rating 3 out of 5 read more

Amazing place for a great breakfast or lunch. We had the Ruben, Cod, and Holy Toledo and everything was excellent. The homemade chips were amazing, and the bread for the sandwiches, perfect. Our server was very friendly and helped answer our questions with patience. Big place inside, but set up very nicely. Recommend getting in early for lunch as downtown business folks fill this place. Highly recommended! read more

It's not terrible, it just feels like they are phoning it in. Service remains marginal but the food quality continues to go downhill. Most items are overcooked to the point you wonder if everything is just pre-cooked, sitting in warming ovens waiting for the crowds. I am not sure we'll be back, and wonder why we keep trying, with all of the brunch options available throughout the city. Super odd to me that the owner continues to be praised when all of his efforts throughout downtown are pretty mid. read more

I ate here for lunch since it had good reviews and was near my hotel. I thought it was a place where you order at the counter but it was a sit down restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and perky. I got a half sandwich half soup combo with lobster bisque and tuna salad sandwich. Something tasted so off with the lobster bisque I couldn't put my finger on it. I only had 3 bites. Didn't want to risk eating more since I couldn't figure out why the taste was off. The tuna salad sandwich was okay, nothing special. It came with a pickle. read more

This wasn't the worst we've had, but pretty close.. everything tasted so pre cooked or frozen. For $50 that's kind of disappointing.. went for breakfast but it ended at 11..not sure if we'll try breakfast after this. read more

My husband and I came to explore Toledo for the day before a concert that evening and our first stop was Focaccia's for brunch. It was awesome! The outdoor seating looked very comfortable and inviting but there was a wait there and we were starving so inside we went. They were really busy but the space inside is fairly big so we were able to be seated at a booth relatively quickly. We each started with a mimosa flight and it was so very fun to sample a few different beverages. We also split an order of beignets for a side of sweet. They were a little denser than I tend to like in my beignets but they were warm and the flavor was very good. For our mains I went with the eggs benedict and my husband opted for the monte cristo. At first I was a little disappointed with the portion of potatoes on the side but honestly, it was the perfect amount. I probably wouldn't have finished anymore than that. My husband also liked his monte cristo and we both declared that we'd love to come back here again soon. Our waitress was really helpful and friendly tho overall the visit was a little slow. I chalk that up to it being pretty darn busy, Sunday brunch after all, and honestly I didn't mind too much. It was nice to kind of take it slow and enjoy a leisurely meal. read more

Such a good spot for brunch! Toledo was pretty quiet when we went. Like almost a ghost town! But once we got to Focaccia's, we found out that's where everyone was! It was pretty busy, but still not too long a wait. We got breakfast after a night of drinking and it was everything we needed and more! The focaccia special is a regular, hearty breakfast, and the spicy chicken and waffles was delicious! A fluffy waffle, topped with 2 crispy chicken pieces, slathered in a hot honey sauce and syrup. I opted for the regular syrup since I'm allergic to nuts, but the original syrup is a bourbon pecan syrup and that sounds delicious. Street parking and some paid garage parking nearby. read more

How has Focaccia's been around for 20 years and this was our first time here?! What a total hidden gem in Toledo! Everything we tried was homemade and absolutely delicious -- the matzo ball soup, quiche with its fresh, flaky crust, spinach pie, salad with house-made dressing, and the Reuben with their own house-fried chips. One woman even hand-rolls the pierogi and makes the potato pancakes herself -- amazing! Can't wait to come back to try the chicken shawarma, burgers, and other sandwiches... and the weekend brunch is now at the top of our list. read more

Food is fresh and Delicious! Service is always quick and courteous! It's just an overall relaxed and chill atmosphere. Great for brunch!

What a total disappointment. I often say it's hard to mess up breakfast; but they somehow managed. The restaurant was empty but we were seated next to the waitress station. I can tell you about how they are doing intermittent fasting and what days they hate working. All very pleasant during brunch. They were out of grapefruit juice and I was told they only had a small amount and someone had to go to the store to get more because they didn't get enough. I declined a small glass and chose water. We chose the Cure and Stanley's Kielbasa and latke. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. Latkes were tough and flavorless. The cure was a bowl of soggy food with not much flavor doused with green onions. I've heard so many good things; maybe I'd go back and try lunch. But it's definitely not getting added to my brunch spots. read more

I stopped by Focaccia's for a quick brunch on a Saturday during Toledo Pride. They offer a full menu of breakfast and lunch items, with a variety of alcohol too. We began with the beignets and they were yummy! We liked how they were served with fresh fruit. I had the Holy Toledo sandwich - turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato served atop the namesake Focaccia bread. It was delicious. The turkey was fresh and the fries and bread were both delicious. The portion was generous for $13 and I left satisfied. Service was fast and friendly. read more

We were looking for a nice sandwich place for lunch after visiting the Toledo Zoo. Focaccia's seemed one of the best options with a diverse and interesting menu. Service was excellent, we were seated and served pretty quickly. I ordered the quiche which came with a small salad. My father ordered the monte christo sandwich. We also ordered the beignets. The beignets were served piping hot, but were not up to my beignet standards - they were a little too doughy instead of airy. Still good, but I've had some really good beignets elsewhere. The quiche was ok, nothing extraordinary and the small side salad that came with it tasted very fresh. My father felt similarly about the monte christo. So all in all, food and service are good, but the food wasn't particularly craveable. Still, it was a nice restaurant and experience and I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else. read more

Focaccia's is a nice place to grab brunch or breakfast. I normally attend breakfast but this time I tried lunch. Our waitress was so attentive. She gave us recommendations and made sure we were good the whole entire meal. Lunch menu is was decent. This visit I ordered the fried fish & fries and a burger, w/ the mimosa Trio. My fish was decent but not amazing. My friend enjoy her burger. Everything was really fresh and our waitress was amazing. She was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of our whole visit consistently. I would definitely visit again, but I honestly enjoy breakfast over the lunch menu. We went here as a place to get something to eat while continuing on the road. I liked the fact that they named their sandwiches after different places in NYC but my food wasn't very presentable. Service just sucked this day My water glass sat empty for 40 minutes and yes I asked. We got 2 mimosa flights. Delicious. I got american breakfast. Sausage (tasted so weird) eggs toast hash browns. Burned eggs I can do myself.. Had to request butter n jelly.15 min later.Now.my man hates going to brunch so this gotta be on point. He left half his food on his plat e. We were staying across the street and came over for brunch. They have igloos out front if you want to have a private space but inside they have a DJ jamming which adds to the fun. We were in Toledo for the Jeep Fest and 4 mile run. What better way to enjoy some spoils after a race and expending plenty of calories than to indulge in brunch. This spot did not disappoint. We decided to go all in and try a bit of everything. The beignets were delicious and I would highly recommend adding this to your order if you go. Loved the skillet potatoes, our waitress suggested we add onion, peppers and cheese. She knew what she was talking about, they were awesome. After being seated, and having a jug of tea knocked over me, we continued to play our order for lunch - we'd driven from chicago and had a long way to go still and were hungry! Ordered a sandwich and the deep dish quiche. Sandwich was fine, the chips were good, onion rings were crisp. The quiche was vile - the eggs had scrambled inside and the top of it, well it had clearly seen too much of the broiler. It reminded me of crappy school lunches. It tasted old. Food was delivered quickly. Servers weren't masked up. You get what you pay for I guess... just didn't expect a cleaning bill for my coat. Onions rings aren't sitting well on our stomach.
