My fiancé has been telling me about this place for months! He's only gotten one breakfast sandwich and it's so good, that he won't try anything else. He ordered the pastrami breakfast sandwich with an over easy egg. The flavor is amazing and the pastrami is cooked to perfection. I ordered the ham, bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Again, flavor and the crossant was perfect cooked. Everyone was really nice and gave us a quick overview of their menu. They do have tables and chairs where you can eat at so that's nice. Frequent flyer at Harvest...I have never had a bad wrap or a cold salad that was not yummy. What keeps me from a 5 star rating is the customer service on the sandwich side. We stopped here after arriving into town at the Toledo airport. The food was great. Very happy with the deli style sandwiches. We had the high hog, Buffalo chicken wrap and roast beef ciabatta: As named the high hog was piled high with meat and toppings. The meat was good. The pork was flavorful, the rest could have used more seasoning. The Buffalo chicken wrap was chicken salad with Buffalo, it was served cold in a wrap. Really enjoyed the flavors. The roast beef was very good, liked the peppers mushrooms and onions. It was gooey cheesy too. The bread was good too. We also had some draft beers that were delicious. Heck of a time to give up beer for new years. Heck of a time. Haven't been here for few years. I wondered why they took Garden out of the name. They took out all the fruits and veggies except salads. Yikes but I appreciate them offering the 1/2 as the full is enough meat for 2 sandwiches with half the bread. You can order ahead online. Their deli meat is seriously above average so once every few years is good lol. Service was ok. Not much interaction and even when I went to the taproom section no one offered any help. This place is small so they saw me. On to the beautiful beer. They have the beer organized by 6 packs, singles, hoppy, dark, lagers etc. I saw some good west coast stuff that I have missed not being over that way in a while. When they had fruits n veggies you would see alot of ladies here. Now. I was the only lady other than the employees. There were about 4-5 guys cozied up to the taproom bar enjoying a beer or 2. They will open any of the single beers for an additional $2 but they have about half a dozen beers on tap too. I couldn't look too close because of FOMO. I've expressed a few times in my other reviews how I feel about Yelp users who have no business leaving unnecessary reviews, rambling and ranting about how a business should be run one way or another. Sure, I can understand the inconvenience that they don't accept Amex, but I don't understand why people feel the need to make it a point to bring down the rating of a business because of such a business policy. My annoyance aside, I'm happy they have enough users giving legitimate reviews and ratings that their rating is kept up at 4.5 stars at the time of this review. Because they do EXACTLY what they advertise they do. Best deli samswiches in town, they have! Also mentioned many times over by others that they have a VERY extensive selection of craft beers and some selection of novelty pops. (I love grabbing me some cane sugar pops and hop water, which nobody else in town carries) I also love that they have plenty of seating areas for you to just grab a sandwich and a glass of beer and hang out for a few minutes, which is where this review is being written. Been coming here for a couple years now. My love of good pastrami and reuben sandwiches led one of my coworkers to recommend this place a few years back, and rest is history. It IS a deli, so you can buy deli meats and other premade food items such as mac n cheese, pasta salads, even grape leaves, etc. But I get the feeling most of us come for their epic sandwiches and wraps. I've tried a decent number of them from their menu and NONE of them fails you. They're not cheap. A pastrami ciabatta costed me $12+ today. But the amount of ingredients that go into it, and the taste combination they mastered using them is definitely worth your while. Also, legendary delis in either Coasts will cost plenty more than that. I can think of at least two from the West Coast I used to love going to. I remember them costing me some $17 per sandwich, and that was 8 years ago. Most of their sandwiches are not very traditional or generic. By that I mean they don't necessarily follow the known traditional formula. For example, a traditional Jewish pastrami will involve combinations of rye bread and mustard. TGH's version is definitely not that. But they make it good. Using great quality pastrami, and plenty of it is the good foundation. But beyond that, they use a difference combinations of bread, dressings, and toppings that make it their own, but not negatively deviate from the OG. Same is true for most of their offerings, in my opinion. If you're looking for rubber stamped sandwiches of your national chains, you'll not get them here. Believe me when I say that there are times I crave Jersey Mikes or even Subway, but if I'm in the mood for something with a bit more "handled with care" sandwiches, TGH will continue to be my go-to in town. read more

The quality is high, the ingredient choices are great and the store offers a special extra something if you need some last minute groceries or party supplies. It's an order at the deli-case, pay in the grocery and seat yourself kind of establishment with a great variety of beverages to choose from. If I was ever anywhere in the area again, I'd swing by in a heartbeat but I have to suspect the completely out of the way location has to be a hindrance to their business. Each of these deli sandwiches, AKA, "deli stacks," costs about 10 bucks, and after eating one you'll be comfortably full...at least I am, and I can eat a shitload. I'd recommend the corned beef and Swiss, or the "high on the hog." Lots of meat, and lots of flavor. Great stuff. Additionally, GHM has wraps, ciabattas, and a wide variety of pre-made salads and soups. Obviously, GHM sells individual deli meats and cheeses, also. The selection of craft beer, and "craft pop" for that matter, is very good...it's not the best in the city, but certainly it's not bad. They also have beer and wine tasting, frequently, on the weekends. The produce is fresh and very reasonably priced as well. The staff is always pleasant and the place is comfortable.
