Sunday brunch
Summer D.

Now we're talking. Updating this review for Sunday brunch buffet. They have upped their game. They moved the hot food to an area that keeps the food hot and the buffet is self-serve. Nice friendly staff takes your drink orders and brings your coffee quickly. Unlike another Sunday brunch place here in town AKA manhattans where you have to hunt the server down. The Sunday brunch is $26 per person and it does not include a free mimosa like Manhattans but the food is so much better here. A nice array of breakfast foods as well as fried chicken mashed potatoes and to die for macaroni and cheese. I want to go back just for the macaroni and cheese. So your meal is going to be a little more than Manhattan's which is pretty much the only other place in town that does a Sunday brunch buffet but for me it was worth it for the hot food and flavorful dishes. Good job by them. Go check them out

Warm Bread Pudding

Driving by to check out the Cameo Countertop retail location, we decided to give Firepit Grille a try. Restaurant / bar areas were very clean and well-kept. The outdoor bar area was deceptively large. I had the BBQ Brisket Idaho Baked Potato. The potato was large to say the least. It came with 3 or 4 chunks of BBQ Brisket. I was hoping for the brisket to be chopped making it easier to eat. In my opinion, the brisket was a bit tough / dry making the price of $16.95, seem a bit excessive. The Smokehouse Salad was ordered with beef and was served with pulled pork. It was still good, just not what was ordered. Cost $15.95. For dessert, we splurged and chose the Warm Bread Pudding. My Mom used to make bread pudding from time to time when we were growing up, so I had great expectations. It was sizeable portion, somewhat warmed, but this too seemed to be a bit on the dry side for my liking. I am guessing my Mom set the bar pretty high when it comes to Bread Pudding. A nice establishment, just need to make a few tweaks on the food to make this a go-to for us.

The service was good and very welcoming. From the server to the food runners, everything was pleasant. They made everyone feel like family and enjoyed a laugh with us all. The setting was that of a family style eatery with a vast menu to every pallet. I thoroughly enjoyed this place and the many options available to each person in our party.

Been here many times and always enjoyed it. Their food, drinks, and service are all great. I haven't had one thing here I didn't like. My normal go-to are salad's here because they are huge and their pizza. The environment is relaxed and clean. Their patio is dog friendly and they even have a fire pit (I guess that fits the name). I'll definitely be returning!

Bbq chicken pizza no chicken add brisket and sub Carolina sauce

Stopped by Friday night. Not too busy and staff was super helpful. Ended up choosing the bbq chicken pizza with the "Matt" flare no chicken sub brisket and Carolina sauce. It was tasty and look forward to coming back to try other menu items. Had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Buffalo chicken dip

The place has a clean look and has lot of seating options available including outdoor options. Service was a bit slow however the waiter was covering a lot tables. He was doing his best and overall the service was good. The manager was working as well and stopped and checked on multiple tables. The Buffalo chicken dip was decent. The chicken used is smoked and has great flavor. The plate does need more chips and the dip to chip ratio is off. The chicken strip basket appetizer comes with plenty of chicken strips and we're pretty solid. The egg rolls were good and the sauce that comes with it was excellent. The brisket Philly sandwich had great flavor. Overall plenty of food great atmosphere. We will return again.

We recently hosted a retirement party for my boss here, and from start to finish the experience was outstanding. Wayne and Amy were incredible to work with while planning everything--they helped coordinate the setup, worked with us on catering appetizers, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They even accommodated us bringing in our own cake, which was a huge plus. They gave us a large dedicated section for our group, and everything ran seamlessly all night. The food and drinks were fantastic across the board--everyone in our party was raving. The pretzel bites with beer cheese were a big hit, and the pulled pork nacho bar for appetizers was next level. People kept going back for more and talking about it all night. But the real standout of the evening was our waitress, Karissa. She was an absolute rockstar. We had a large group with individual tabs for everyone, and she kept everything perfectly organized without missing a beat. Drinks were always full, food came out quickly, and no one was left waiting or confused. Whatever system she was running behind the scenes--it worked flawlessly. It's not easy to keep a big group happy, and she made it look effortless. Whether you're going for a casual dinner or planning a large event, this is a place that knows how to take care of people. Highly recommend.

Started off with the Saugatuck Blueberry and Lemonade shandy, very tasty and smooth, if not looking for something heavy this is a great choice. The fresh cut fries are thin but great taste but not to salty. We also got the Pulled Pork nachos which had great tasting pork and sour cream with some bbq drizzle as well, it was the best appetizer we had. The pretzel was solid and the hummus and veggies is what you would expect but felt like an afterthought as the hummus didn't have any taste. The wait staff was engaged and attentive. For a brewery/pub it has a lot to offer with an upbeat atmosphere. I recommend checking them out!

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.

I've only been to the Downtown Perrysburg location but have been impressed every time. They have a good variety of beers on tap that they make including some rotating seasonal selections. Not a beer drinker? They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails, wine, and NA options. I've stopped in a couple of times for a casual drink at the bar or to enjoy on their amazing summer patio area. They often have events like live music to enjoy so keep an eye out! This visit, I stopped in for brunch with friends. Their menu is smaller but has good variety and is priced well. I got the Biscuits & Gravy which had a handful of biscuits sauced in their house made gravy and topped with fluffy eggs. Delicious! My friend got the Chicken Salad Sliders which came with 3 pretzel bun sliders filled with yummy egg salad and a side option. He chose their chips which were tasty. My husband got the Chicken & Waffles. This was the most expensive but smallest portion. The sandwich itself was good and comes with a side but side options aren't listed on the menu. The entree was served on a large plate and simply looked small in size. Flavors were good but it left room for more food. Overall, this is a great, easy food and drink spot in Perrysburg. They offer their beers on tap but also some are canned for purchase in the to-go fridge. Stop out in the summer to enjoy their prime season and get a DORA cup to enjoy while walking around Downtown Perrysburg!

They also sell wine and some diluted spirits, but that's it. No liquor. I come here for the beer. I'll drink beer out of a lined can, or out of a dark bottle, but in general, I prefer draft beer. It's fresher and more flavorful...yeah, I know, that's not always the case, but in general, it is. HLS currently has 26 taps that are dispensing local and regional beers, and they will be installing 12 more in the not too distant future. They sell draft beer in 16 oz cans, 32 oz cans/growlers, and 64 oz growlers. They also have a humongous selection of bottled beer and pre-canned...um, I guess what some people call "canned," beer. They also sell wine, pop, and other things you'd find in a party store. THIS is where to come in SoTol/Maumee/Holland when you wanna purchase some FRESH beer. BTW, this establishment is now known as Holloway Beverage Center. I'm heading over right now.
