We ordered Fungus Amongus and Let's Brie Friends burgers along with the unending fries. Small restaurant with only a handful of tables, one server, and the grill chef - that's it. Burgers were well seasoned and good tasting. In my opinion, these burgers were on the medium-well side of the spectrum, so a bit over done for me. The fries = yum! Reminded me of a shoestring type version of Berardi's in Sandusky Ohio. These fries were nicely seasoned and done to what I would call, perfection! Even with every tabled filled and a line of hungry patrons, the food did not take an inordinate amount time to be served. Impulse purchase homemade cookies were located at the register. We obliged and purchases one of each flavor - choc chunk and oatmeal with butterscotch and walnuts. Overall, price was moderate as to be expected for a downtown P-burg location to cover costs for this husband and wife owned/operated business.

My favorite was the smoked chicken salad, because it was something I've never seen anywhere else. The smoke flavor is milder than I remember, but it's still the best chicken salad I've ever had. The mac and cheese and cornbread are also delicious. A Texan could never give Ohio bbq 5 stars, but Deets is getting the best I could give it, which is 4.

We were told that the only way to accommodate us was an upstairs area- although we were initially promised the first floor seating area. The manager was nice enough but also very matter of fact - as if this was a problem we brought on ourselves, as she explained that sports bar clientele could choose to stay for four hours. When my sandwich arrived, the tomatoes were very sub-par... like the very end of tomatoes that weren't even ripe in the first place. It was basically typical bar food so my expectations weren't super high. I mentioned to our server re the unripe tomato ends when she picked up our plates and she apologized. I will say that the lunch bill for this restaurant was on the reasonable side, considering prices these days. Even though we had a "large" party, we weren't charged an automatic gratuity and that actually made me want to tip our server more - recognizing that she inherited a difficult table of single checks but still did a pretty good job of staying on top of our orders. Overall, it's a great sports bar with lots of screens. If you'd like to have any meaningful conversations, the atmosphere was on the loud side. Food is overall fine for bar food but nothing amazing- though reasonably priced. Definitely feel free to check it out! It is in the building across from St. John's High School that used to be a Mexican restaurant and then a fire engine restaurant (if you're local, you know). Manage your expectations to decent bar food and nothing more or less - but with lots of screens to cheer on your favorite teams!
