Stood In Line For Over A Hour With My Daughter Mind You For The Guy Running The Truck To Say They Were Out Of Everything Basically Bt Specifically Ribs! While Holding My Daughter The Guy Shoes Me An My Daughter Away Like We Were Flies With His Hand. Meanwhile I'm Telling Him He Should Maybe Yell Out They're Out Of Those Foods So The People In The Line Would Have To Go Through What I Went Through While Having Their Kid Need To Go Potty An All Kind Of Other Stuff! He Taped It Meanwhile Still Not Telling Anyone Anything! Highly Not Recommended From Me!!!!! Poor Attitude An Service I put a 1 bt I would put zero!

Pretty terrible quality as far as brisket goes.

Gotten bbq to go twice now and to be honest, it's what I consider to be acceptable bbq. Having eaten all over the country I appreciate the things they do well (smoked wings, bbq chicken breast, decent ribs) but also notice things not so great (fatty brisket that's really unacceptable by most standards). I'm also somewhat confused by the menu offerings and can't understand why the bbq chicken breast isn't available to be ordered unless you get the personal sampler. Another annoyance is the nickel and diming such as charging for side substitutions when ordering the sampler (all the regular sides are the same price) and most of all, wanting to charge for an extra to go sauce (same sauce just sitting on all tables if you dine in, which you can just put more in your to go box). May go back if I'm craving bbq while in town, wouldn't lose sleep if I never had it again either.

Personal Sampler. No beef brisket (they were out!), double up on the pork.

If you don't know what you want, GET EVERYTHING. That's what the Deet's Personal Sampler is for! And being a Deet's virgin, it was the perfect meal for a girl still trying to find her way. It was unfortunate that I chose the day and timing when they were out of brisket, but they gave me the option of doubling up on pork or chicken. Pork, please. 1. RIBS. Loved the ribs! I was craving ribs all day and this was exactly what I wanted. Nice and tender and the sauce just completed the whole experience. I would return for a half slab alone. With about 4 of those badass corn muffins served with melted butter. 2. Chicken. A nice, thick, juicy portion of chicken slathered with the same sauce. I would also return for this. 3. Pulled Pork. The pulled pork was pretty good, but it didn't win my heart for whatever reason. No sauce...not sure if it wasn't supposed to have sauce but mine did not. And without the sauce, it was a little bland for my taste. Sauce: MIXED. You can choose from sweet, spicy, or mixed! Not rated: Beef Brisket. I shall return to try the beef brisket and get some more of those ribs. I just came for pick up but got to enjoy a little bit of the live blues band. Got me questioning if I was still in Toledo. Their food truck also hits up the Downtown Perrysburg's Farmers' Market Thursdays from 4-8pm!

I just ate it and didnt say anything. The pizza has a similar crust to That place in Maumee everyone loves. The rest of the food was decent and I'll return to try some more of their menu. They had several TVs with sports balls on and a table with assorted games to be played. Great rainy day bar.

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.

Upon arrival, the already small lobby was completely overcrowded, to the point where there was barely room to move. It honestly felt like a fire hazard with people constantly trying to squeeze in and out. The only update we received from the hostess, Victoria, was that they were "backed up," delivered with a noticeably rude and dismissive attitude. There was no organization, no guidance, and no effort to manage the situation or accommodate guests. To make matters worse, there was nowhere to wait except outside. When we asked if we would receive a text when our booth was ready, Victoria responded sarcastically, saying, "You think I can text all these numbers on this list? There's no way to do that." That level of unprofessionalism was completely unacceptable. After waiting 20 minutes past our reservation time with no clear communication or plan, we decided to leave. The lack of organization, poor communication, and rude service made for a very off-putting experience--especially on a holiday. Unfortunately, this experience has made us very hesitant to return.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly wait staff and shown to our reserved table. The ambiance is upscale with dim lighting. We were there for a book club luncheon and the restaurant wasn't busy or noisy, which was perfect for us. The menu offered a nice variety of options. While the restaurant is known for barbecue and pizza, most of us ordered sandwiches and salads. Our server seemed to be very new, but was polite and pleasant. She was on top of drink refills, which was good because Coke and Iced Tea were $3.00. Funny thing but someone in our party ordered a gin and tonic and that also was $3.00. Our food orders were slow to come out and our server couldn't keep track of who ordered what, which wasn't a big deal since we were a group of approximately ten. Not all orders came out at once, so some were eating and some were waiting. I ordered a veggie burger with cheese and a side of ranch. When the plate came out, there was no cheese or ranch dressing. Our server took my plate back to the kitchen and I also requested a slice of tomato. I found the veggie burger very bland but edible. The fries were plentiful but I only ate a couple. Nobody raved about the food but I didn't hear any complaints either. A lot of our group took home leftovers. When the checks came, we learned that 22% gratuity had been added to each check because we were a large table. I also learned that the cheese for my veggie burger had an upcharge of .99 for the cheese and.50 for the ranch dressing. We enjoyed our discussion and socializing in a nice ambiance. I was underwhelmed by my meal, so wouldn't run back anytime soon. If I were to dine here again, I'd probably try the pizza. A photo of my veggie burger is posted below.

Damn near a hit. if they could just get the kitchen together regarding temperature and consistency. They would be slaying. Let's talk about what is good... The environment. It just feels like a place you want to sit down and eat a rack of ribs. It's clean, modern, and inviting. It is cool to see what they have done with the old black pearl. Our waitress was excellent! She was fast, attentive, and warm. I can't speak enough about the service. From the moment we sat down until the moment we left, we were truly waited on. We had drinks, we had our food extremely fast, and even when there was an issue with our meal, the manager came right over. (I didn't ask, the waitress brought her over when she noticed our untouched ribs and potato) If our food had been as warm as our staff, they would probably be sitting on closer to five stars Let's talk about the gumbo. The flavor was great! However, the rice inside of it was severely undercooked. It was crunchy in places. Some of it was cooked, however, there were multiple clumps of uncooked (I can't even call it undercooked) rice. And it wasn't hot. My husband can eat piping hot food, I am talking about tea right out of the kettle... But I am not so fortunate. I started to blow on the soup and he laughed at me and said it wouldn't be necessary. To be fair, it was his gumbo, but he was right. It wasn't hot. It was barely a notch above warm, which makes me concerned about things like foodborne illness. But because the sausage, the chicken, and the roux were so damn good. I ate around it and decided to risk it. Next out, the ribs and brisket combo and my husband's wings. The wings were great. Zero notes except they flew off the bone into my husband's mouth faster than I could even get to my food. The brisket wasn't hot, but I don't expect it to be after it's rested so I will give that a free pass. My baked potato couldn't melt the butter. I also gave that a free pass since I planned on taking it home. But when I dug into my ribs, they were cold. And I don't mean warm, I mean cold. The surface was warm but by the bone was like they were out of the refrigerator. They had a decent flavor, but when ribs are that cold, they are a bit tough. Our waitress brought out a fresh rack, but by then I had already eaten my way through half of my husband soup, part of his meal, and my brisket so I ate one knuckle and took the rest home. I would come back for the atmosphere, the wait staff, and the flavor... But I hope execution gets cleaned up because I probably wouldn't come back a third time if I had a similar experience. I love eating local, and I hope they have a better run than the black pearl. The portions are generous, the pricing is more than fair. They do a lot of daily and happy hour as well as late night specials. Also, when I go to a barbecue spot, I want a bread option. I know this is me being a spoiled carb princess... But nothing sets me up for a good meal like some cornbread or dinner rolls. Lastly, I hope they end up bottling and selling some of their sauces locally. Their Carolina mustard base barbecue was stellar and the hot barbecue just as good.
