    Moscato long pour
    Sarah L.

I've ate at quite a few LongHorn Steakhouses this one is my least favorite. Customer service was great and it's clean so no issue there, but usually when I order wine and do the long pour I get a glass of wine and a separate container with the long pour. This location did not do that it was a long pour in one glass and was very full. Steaks were ok, I ordered medium well and got pinker than medium. The bread took awhile to come out and the table that had ordered well after my husband and I got their salads first before we got our salads. Overall 3/5 experience.

Did it to go order of buttermilk chicken sandwich and fries and got a really nice bread. The chicken sandwich is one of the best I've ever ate, and the staff was very friendly and the service was very fast. I would highly recommend.

I never eat at chain restaurants but my daughter and I stopped in at Longhorn in Maumee OH. The food was great for a chain restaurant. The steak was cooked perfectly and the salads were super fresh. Our server Alex was excellent. Overall all of the staff provided excellent service. Whoever the manager is should be very pleased with all of the employees. LongHorn should be very happy with this location. Thank you!

Loaded baked potato and Lil's 6 oz filet

I rarely rate chains as four stars, but our meals here last evening were great. The starter of chopped salad was very fresh and crisp, with tasty crunchy croutons and a very good house made ranch dressing. My husband and I both had "Lil's 6 oz filet". Had to be prime beef! Very tender and juicy, no gristle, very very little fat, and perfectly cooked medium rare! It came with a very nice loaded baked potato. (I jumped right in before remembering to take this picture.) My husband ate all of his, and was satisfied. I took some home for lunch tomorrow!

No matter how many other steakhouses I try we always end up going back to longhorn. I love the filet and the ribeye the most. I always start with their pecan strawberry salad. This location in Maumee is my favorite one to go to. The staff is always so attentive and kind.

Pile of dirt left next to our table during our visit.

The food and service in this restaurant is awesome! I would recommend their salmon and strawberry, pecan salad and their brussels sprouts.

2 stars for service...and average food. Rather disappointing ribeye; 1/3 inedible. Saving grace was the strawberry cheesecake cake.

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly wait staff and shown to our reserved table. The ambiance is upscale with dim lighting. We were there for a book club luncheon and the restaurant wasn't busy or noisy, which was perfect for us. The menu offered a nice variety of options. While the restaurant is known for barbecue and pizza, most of us ordered sandwiches and salads. Our server seemed to be very new, but was polite and pleasant. She was on top of drink refills, which was good because Coke and Iced Tea were $3.00. Funny thing but someone in our party ordered a gin and tonic and that also was $3.00. Our food orders were slow to come out and our server couldn't keep track of who ordered what, which wasn't a big deal since we were a group of approximately ten. Not all orders came out at once, so some were eating and some were waiting. I ordered a veggie burger with cheese and a side of ranch. When the plate came out, there was no cheese or ranch dressing. Our server took my plate back to the kitchen and I also requested a slice of tomato. I found the veggie burger very bland but edible. The fries were plentiful but I only ate a couple. Nobody raved about the food but I didn't hear any complaints either. A lot of our group took home leftovers. When the checks came, we learned that 22% gratuity had been added to each check because we were a large table. I also learned that the cheese for my veggie burger had an upcharge of .99 for the cheese and.50 for the ranch dressing. We enjoyed our discussion and socializing in a nice ambiance. I was underwhelmed by my meal, so wouldn't run back anytime soon. If I were to dine here again, I'd probably try the pizza. A photo of my veggie burger is posted below.

Upon arrival, the already small lobby was completely overcrowded, to the point where there was barely room to move. It honestly felt like a fire hazard with people constantly trying to squeeze in and out. The only update we received from the hostess, Victoria, was that they were "backed up," delivered with a noticeably rude and dismissive attitude. There was no organization, no guidance, and no effort to manage the situation or accommodate guests. To make matters worse, there was nowhere to wait except outside. When we asked if we would receive a text when our booth was ready, Victoria responded sarcastically, saying, "You think I can text all these numbers on this list? There's no way to do that." That level of unprofessionalism was completely unacceptable. After waiting 20 minutes past our reservation time with no clear communication or plan, we decided to leave. The lack of organization, poor communication, and rude service made for a very off-putting experience--especially on a holiday. Unfortunately, this experience has made us very hesitant to return.

Damn near a hit. if they could just get the kitchen together regarding temperature and consistency. They would be slaying. Let's talk about what is good... The environment. It just feels like a place you want to sit down and eat a rack of ribs. It's clean, modern, and inviting. It is cool to see what they have done with the old black pearl. Our waitress was excellent! She was fast, attentive, and warm. I can't speak enough about the service. From the moment we sat down until the moment we left, we were truly waited on. We had drinks, we had our food extremely fast, and even when there was an issue with our meal, the manager came right over. (I didn't ask, the waitress brought her over when she noticed our untouched ribs and potato) If our food had been as warm as our staff, they would probably be sitting on closer to five stars Let's talk about the gumbo. The flavor was great! However, the rice inside of it was severely undercooked. It was crunchy in places. Some of it was cooked, however, there were multiple clumps of uncooked (I can't even call it undercooked) rice. And it wasn't hot. My husband can eat piping hot food, I am talking about tea right out of the kettle... But I am not so fortunate. I started to blow on the soup and he laughed at me and said it wouldn't be necessary. To be fair, it was his gumbo, but he was right. It wasn't hot. It was barely a notch above warm, which makes me concerned about things like foodborne illness. But because the sausage, the chicken, and the roux were so damn good. I ate around it and decided to risk it. Next out, the ribs and brisket combo and my husband's wings. The wings were great. Zero notes except they flew off the bone into my husband's mouth faster than I could even get to my food. The brisket wasn't hot, but I don't expect it to be after it's rested so I will give that a free pass. My baked potato couldn't melt the butter. I also gave that a free pass since I planned on taking it home. But when I dug into my ribs, they were cold. And I don't mean warm, I mean cold. The surface was warm but by the bone was like they were out of the refrigerator. They had a decent flavor, but when ribs are that cold, they are a bit tough. Our waitress brought out a fresh rack, but by then I had already eaten my way through half of my husband soup, part of his meal, and my brisket so I ate one knuckle and took the rest home. I would come back for the atmosphere, the wait staff, and the flavor... But I hope execution gets cleaned up because I probably wouldn't come back a third time if I had a similar experience. I love eating local, and I hope they have a better run than the black pearl. The portions are generous, the pricing is more than fair. They do a lot of daily and happy hour as well as late night specials. Also, when I go to a barbecue spot, I want a bread option. I know this is me being a spoiled carb princess... But nothing sets me up for a good meal like some cornbread or dinner rolls. Lastly, I hope they end up bottling and selling some of their sauces locally. Their Carolina mustard base barbecue was stellar and the hot barbecue just as good.
