I'm trying not to be the person that leaves only poor reviews but lately it's not been the case we went online and ordered our meal at 11 which we thought would give them plenty of time for a 12 o'clock pick up. When we arrived at 12, we were treated rudely and said that it would be 40 minutes because they had to fry the chicken. I asked why wahould I place the order early if I would've known that you're gonna make us wait 40 minutes plus. The female at the counter told me to take it up with management. Since I've been sitting here, I have observed three vehicles, pull up walk-in and immediately walk out. Plenty of other good chicken places to eat besides here. Will not be back. Final number of walkouts was 7 lost customers in 40 minutes. People are pissed. read more

Now, this place can have some real inconsistent service levels. But today, the service was good and the chicken was pretty darn good. The inside was clean and attractive, the cashier "Justin" was extremely friendly and helpful, the chicken and biscuits were hot and fresh, the coleslaw was tasty and freshly made. About 10 min later paid and got our bag and drove all the way home, only to find out that half our order wasn't in the bag. They have a good buffet at a decent price, but the chicken is pretty disappointing. It was overdone, and had a pretty major aftertaste that just isn't normal. Maybe it's a bad day but it's still not great. The tiles are water stained, the employees are dirty and no one went to the hand wash sink in the 2 hours I was eating (I'm a slow eater). They only seemed to care about their drive through but not the customers in the store, it's just aweful. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. read more

This place gives new meaning to the word SUCKS!!! It is a sorry excuse for fried chicken Colonel Sanders would be ashamed if he saw the way they are runnin this joint. When you first walk in you notice the dirty dining room and how the drink machine is right in the middle of the dining room instead of against the wall, water stains on the ceiling tiles, just a horrible impression from the moment you walk in the door! the cashier was friendly, that was the only positive thing I would have to say. I'm a bit biased - I worked here in the 80s filling in as management. I think this is hands down the best KFC I've had in a while. The food was cooked in fresh shortening (which is something I can easily detect with 5 years of making, preparing, and shoveling chicken), and it was extremely fresh. I haven't tried the other KFCs in the area, but comparing this one to where I came from (where they always seemed to confuse the original flour and the crispy flour), it was a treat. read more

I grew up with Kentucky Fried Chicken before they shortened the name. Through the years I've seen varied changes to the menu, a buffet added, which I personally didn't think looked that great, but I went there to they the new Colonel chicken Sandwich meal that's been advertised for $5. You get the sandwich, potato wedges, cookie and a drink. In one word, delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection, hot and juicy, and the potato wedges were crisp. The chicken was a large portion of white meat and of course the breading was mouth-watering. For dessert I got the 2 Apple pies for $1, and let me tell you, they were the best ever, much much better then the McDonald's brand. So I highly recommend that $5 meal for the value and taste. read more

Internet info about the KFC on East Battlefield clearly states they have a buffet. Walked in the door and there was no buffet. The man behind us left when he found out there was no buffet. One worker told us they removed the buffet when they redecorated--whenever that was. My husband and I decided to go ahead and order off the menu. Colonel Sanders is surely spinning in his grave. The original recipe chicken had crunchy coating that tasted like uncooked cornmeal. No clue where the original spices were. The potatoes were okay but the gravy tasted just like Thanksgiving dressing and was very sage-y. The coleslaw was awful--It was very hot and old tasting. Biscuits were okay. This is definitely not the KFC of old. We won't go back to this place for sure! Upset stomach shortly after eating doesn't help my impressions. read more

I think this place is better than pretty much all other KFCs in the area, because they don't try to be anything but a KFC. When one is a KFC/LJS or whatever, they end up not doing either one right. This place has courteous people, I've never had my order not filled correctly, and the food here is awesome. The Colonel is my Hero! read more

Stopped by KFC on Wednesday 1/25. Had the lunch buffet. 30 minutes afterwards I had symptoms consistent with food poisoning. The food on the buffet was not hot enough. No steam was arising from the table. Will not go back to that KFC. read more

I did not have a good experience at all! My cookie was flat and gross looking so I asked nicely for a new one and the lady was very rude about it and thought I was being ridiculous. She did not tell me to my face she waited until I walked away and then spoke loud enough for me to here her say that's just ridiculous. I love KFC and besides that cookie the food is good but this location always has dirty tables and it's just not good customer service! read more

We ordered all the fixings for 25 people after our Mothers memorial service and we were very pleased. The manager helped us order a few days prior and the food was hot and fresh and right on time. We will defintley use them again. read more

I purchased a 16 piece bucket and found when getting home it had 5 wings and 3 legs....I think it is terrible that I should have to dump out the bucket to verify that my order was correct...I asked for standard items and nothing special...It's sake to say a trip back was not worth the effort so I will use another source when ordering my chicken next time....I find it must be a problem when another review has had the same problems.... read more
