I ordered 10 piece meals on 4/4/25 on ticket 1443. I was only given 8 pieces chicken instead of 10. I verified with the attendant at the windows before giving him my credit card, that I ordered 10 piece meal and not 8 piece and he acknowledged that but still gave me 8 pieces and not 10 pieces that I ordered. That is absolutely an act of cheating and no integrity. I am from out of town visiting and very disappointed to witness such act of dishonesty! After receiving an incomplete order, I called to speak to the manager to inform them, as this was the second time in a week where we had not received the food we paid for. The manager was rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. She hung up on me twice. She accused me of shouting which I was not and refused to let me speak. She called me some names, cursed, spoke over me and refused to hear my complaint by simply hanging up. This is not what I have come to expect from a KFC franchise. I will be complaining to the franchisee and the corporate office regarding this managers disgraceful behavior. I want to write this review, in the wake of all the changes restaurants had to make due to the coronavirus. I have read a lot of the reviews about this store in Seaside, and I have to say that I wouldn't argue with him under most conditions. But I have to say this, because it's the truth: these folks have really stepped up their service, their cleanliness and their attention to the details of each order. I have always liked KFC's products, but in recent years the brand has fallen off a bit. Well the past three times I've been there, (yes three,) my order was delivered quickly, with plenty of napkins, and No mistakes in what I ordered. Yesterday, known forever as THE DAY JOHN PRINE died, they asked me if I would wait a few minutes while they cooked a new batch of chicken. I had no problem with that, and it took a little longer than they said it would - but there had been a big rush of customers right at that time. I'm confused how I got charged $11 for three pieces of soggy chicken, a biscuit that tasted old and terrible mashed potatoes. Fried chicken isn't supposed to be sopping wet. Having a bad experience there a couple months ago, I decided to try it again yesterday. Corporate really needs to look at this location. Ordered original recipe at 5:08 pm and was told 16 minutes although the person on the speaker sounded like 60 minutes. Had to have him repeat it. Said I would wait and pulled to window where again couldn't understand worker and gave him three twenties for what I thought he said $56.97. He said this is only $60. I said how much and he said $66.97 and asked me to pull out front. While sitting out front for half an hour and watching nine cars and over a dozen walk-ins I called and asked if I should come in and get it. He said it depends did you order online? I said no I'm sitting out front waiting. He said they're boxing it up now. After another ten minutes a teen brought it to the car. I can't believe none of those two dozen other people who were served didn't order any original recipe. Last time I had to ask for the change and was told most people didn't want the change so they keep it. Really? Anyway got home and wasn't any more happy. The biscuits were doughy and the chicken breading was horrible as it was quite wet. Pieces were cut really badly. Usually in a twelve piece I expect more than one leg. In the bottom of the chicken carton was some yellow liquid which is evidently what made the pieces so icky and made the wet, gooey breading fall off. Not happy at all with service or product quality. This is the same thing that happened last time. Customers told to wait out front are bypassed while drive through and walk-ins are handled first. My experience is that wait time for customers out front is anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and then food is low quality. read more

This KFC is getting worse every time we go there and I think today was our last time. Last time we went the lobby was opened but this time it was not and no sign on the door to say it was not opened. We did not want to wait in the long line for drive thru but had no choice since they do not have the common courtesy to put a stupid sign on the lobby entrance. Wanted the crispy chicken but they said they did not have any and this is at only 1PM. Asked also for a extra mash potatoes and gravy which when we got home there was not. When we got home which is a half hour from there the grease from the chicken had leaked thru the box and when we opened it is was nothing but a greasy mess. Drive thru was a little crowded but you would think they could at least drain the chicken before they put it in the box. It is also a hit and miss on how the cole slaw is going to be every time we go there. This time the cole slaw was Ok but not like the original used to be. When we ate the chicken I had to stop since it was so greasy. Do not think we will be going back there again. We have visited this KFC at least 15 times since we moved here 11 years ago and every time either you do not get everything you ordered or else they are out of something no matter what time of day it is. This was the worst KFC I have ever been to. To start off I waited for 20 minutes to get my food in the drive thru (all cars did.) I didn't even get a big order, I ordered a leg and thigh combo. They gave me a leg and a breast. The service was terrible. When I got my food the box was open and it was in a Safeway to go bag!! If the food tasted good that would be one thing, but the food tasted terribe. It was dry and the skin just fell off. The food tasted so bad I couldn't eat it. THE. WORST. FAST. FOOD. RESTAURANT. IN. THE. COUNTY! Stay away! Every time I come here, there is an issue. I have a higher van, so I sneak around the low overhangs with little issues if I don't have ladders on top. Told by the "lady" (taking it she's the manager) that the walk in is open. So, a few days later I come by and walk in is not open. Called in my order to see if they could meet me at the door, nope, according to the same person, we don't do that, but you could come stand in line at the drive up...and it's pouring down raining. I stated that if you're telling me one time the lobby is open and it's not, shouldn't you at least put a sign in the window stating that it's not open? She stated she didn't have time to do that. Granted, every time I drive by, there is rarely any traffic at this KFC. This actually happened twice. Tonight, I was able to get thru the drive up and ordered based on a coupon I received. Was told by the same person that they didn't accept that one item coupon, but they do accept the two item coupon, I said ok, give me the two item. Then she put me on hold and came back and asked if there was a drink included in that. I said no. At the window I asked her if she knows what coupons they accept and not accept, shouldn't she know what goes with the coupon? As a Midwesterner, I grew up just a couple hours away from the birthplace of KFC, I love the food and I will always be a fan. Tonight I was just in the mood for a quick, cheap take away, and that's what I got. This franchise isn't participating in the $3 famous bowl promo, but no big deal. The food was delicious, and the bathroom was super clean. It's the way I WASN'T greeted when I walked in. I was standing at the counter thinking it might be a minute because the staff looked busy, when a young man rounded the corner, saw me and headed for the counter. Turns out, I was right. As he headed for the counter, phone in hand, he went back to texting. He got to the counter, set the phone down... And continued texting. After about a minute he finally acknowledged me, with what I can only rationalize as look of annoyance for interrupting his sexting, and asked me if my order was for here or to go. While I realize there should be exceptions to phone use at work (Grandma is on her deathbed, your sister's baby is a week overdue), I'm confident that wasn't the case here. I would call him out by name, but he wasn't wearing a name tag. This guy would do well to remember that, while customers like myself are irritated with such disrespect it's your co-workers, who have to pick up your slack everyday because you can't put down your phone and do your job, who are the real losers here. read more

Usually this place is pretty quick but today we waited a solid 45 mins in drive thru line. All for one thing a chicken bowl. Then they gave us like three small pieces of chicken in the bowl. Not even a apology for such a long wait. ‍ it has been like this the last few times we have been there. Today was the worst. Within the 45mins I was able to rearrange my vehicle and get things cleaned along with watching the 2 other people in front of us do the same. 1 person and his driver at different times were both able to get out run and get other food from other places and tonthe store and came back and we were still in the same spot. 2 nights ago I ordered one of the Nacho boxes that has been advertised on TV because it looked so good!!! I was SO wrong!!! The chips were cold, the sour cream was just thrown on them and I have NO idea what kind of liquid cheese was on there!! I just couldn't eat it!! I threw the majority of it away because I had no appetite for it after about 4 bites!!! I visited this place twice and both times received the same poor, lackluster service. The first time, I ordered a meal and when asked why there were not two sides, the gal told me that the menu had changed and the two side meals didn't exist. Uh..yea, they do...they are called the Classic Meals. The second time I visited, when I pulled up to pay and asked where was my drink, the gal looked at me and said, "You said you were all done with the order." Unbelievable. When you order a meal at every other fast food restaurant in America, you are always asked, what would you like to drink? As it was, I walked next door to Subway and ordered a drink. This restaurant needs some serious customer service training along with a better understanding of their menu. If you're at the beach and want fried chicken, I'd skip this place and go one block over to Safeway and order from their deli--much better food and much friendlier. Whoa. First, our bad for not walking out after walking in. It was late after a basketball tourney game and we wanted to grab some food to take home. This place was FILTHY. Food and trash under tables, spills around soda machine, grimy surfaces. Again, we should have left. Ordered two chicken meals; got them to go and walked out without touching anything. Got back to find one meal didn't include the cole slaw side (probably for the best), the other didn't include the cookie, and both came with biscuits that appeared to have had large bites--half the biscuit--out of them. Didn't eat much of anything; we were weirded out. If a regional manager were to walk in on this place s/he'd blow a gasket. If the health dept were to walk in they'd have a heyday. Get new workers most of the staff (not all) look like straight up tweakers. The building is really nice looking and the inside is also but most the staff there gives you a sketchy vibe one time when I was there (I'm a local) it smelt as if someone just finished smoking a cigarette inside the building it smelt awful and it was rainy like I said tweakers that's only something a tweaker would do. Theirs also no freezymtn dew drinks which is really unfortunate but rumor has it that the tweaks there do have a machine and are just too lazy to clean it and if so that's really disappointing. Get rid of the tweaks add/clean the freezy machine then it would be a top notch fast food location here in seaside. read more
