Ordered food online and when I got home found there were NO contents in the sandwich. Literally nothing but toasted bread.

Wife and I would like to give a loud and proud shoutout to Miss. Veronica. We were in Seaside Oregon on official business and had lunch at the Subway outlet on Roosevelt road (26 April 2025). Standing in on short notice for a colleague who had a family emergency, she was the sole server/associate at the outlet on that busy Saturday. Long queue, yet the smile never faded; eager (but not rude) customers including children, yet the enthusiasm and energy did not diminish nor did any sign of frustration appear. The lady is either the world's finest actress who never made it to Hollywood (with the epic talent to conceal emotions) or is just a rockstar of an associate that Subway is lucky to have - we (wife and I) are convinced it is the latter. We love subway but were used to waiting too long for our food at home in Utah. This was by far the fastest subway shop we have ever been too. Only 1 man was working & he did great to get everyone's orders out quickly & efficiently. I'm rating it 4 stars just because I had a pesky fruit fly that wouldn't leave me alone. My wife used their restroom while I waited 20 minutes in line. She said that it was "the absolute grossest restroom I've ever been in! YUCK!" The one guy behind the counter moved at a snail's pace. Their toaster was out of order. The guy took off his gloves to make change for a customer, then went in the back to handle the bread loaves without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Food and service is always fine. Though ordering through the app takes longer to get your food. I put in a order and waited in line so I can get my order in the order they are received as it was getting busy. When I got to the front they wouldn't make it and prioritized the people in front of them. Even though I technically was in line first. Which is not how real restaurants operate. Subway took my money and wanted to take everyone else's money first before upholding their side. read more

Hours are never correct. People inside make eye contact with me but keep locked, been here since 8:30 it's now over an hour later

The worker was very efficient and quick. Especially considering that he was working alone and there was quite a line when we went - he was doing a wonderful job. Location is super clean and spacious! I think this is the nicest subway I've been in. read more

Haven't been in a while. Always had good interaction with staff. Went in today and probably won't go back for a long time if ever. Evidently one staff was in training. She had no clue how to make the salad or that it should have lettuce in it. Lettuce in a salad? Who knew? There will never be enough training for this girl. Order was $21.40. Gave her $25.40 so I would get back $4.00. She kept insisting change was $3.60. Finally the other staff said "just give her the $4.00" like it was an appeasement for the dumb customer. Even the lady in line behind me said it was $4. I didn't get to see or get the receipt, so I don't know what she put into the computer. Then I got home and looked at my three chocolate chip cookies that I paid for but only got two and the wrong kind. No. I'm done with this place. read more

Wow...just wow. Have you ever had customer service that was so bad...you (__________) You fill in the blank. Ok... I was tired and was getting a headache and needed something fast and easy. Not many healthy choices when traveling to the coast so I thought... Subway? This place was packed so I figured it was good. Waited for about 15 min until we were actually able to make an order. Service was Sloooooooooooooooooooow. When it was finally my turn, I made my order with a friendly guy who picked out my bread and cheese. Soon... my sandwich was sliding over to the veggies section. The next sandwich artist in line was a younger female. Didn't say much and didn't smile. She actually looked miserable. I checked out the veggies and they looked like toast. The lettuce was browning and needed to be replaced since it was just the bottom leftovers from the previous crowd that came in. I asked kindly, " could I possibly get some fresh lettuce?" She didn't hesitate and went back to get a fresh batch of lettuce. In the meantime...the other sandwich artist, who was also in the veggie section, noticed my lonely sandwich just sitting there with no one working on it. This guy was an older heavy set guy that was starting to bald. He was not happy doing his job. I noticed his body language showed mostly frustration when trying to help other customers with thier sandwiches. Well, back to my lonely sandwich....this grumpy guy grabbed my sandwich and asked what I needed. I told him I was waiting for some fresh lettuce. He looked at me confused and then pointed to another lettuce container with browning lettuce. I then politely told him the other girl was getting the fresh lettuce in the back. This guy was upset now. He rolled his eyes...shook his head and made a huffing noise as he ran to the back of the store. I'm thinking....oh crap...I should of never said anything about wanting fresh lettuce. What if he's spitting on the new lettuce and I end up dying the next day. Will anyone know the cause? Will anyone realize a subway madman may have caused my death? Yeah...those thoughts flew threw mind as I stood thier waiting for the girl to return with fresh lettuce. FINALLY...the girl returned and the grumpy guy behind her. She placed the container with the newly browning lettuce down on the counter. I wasnt going to say anything about the new lettuce looking like crap too. She then finished my veggie order. My sandwich slid past grumpy guy and on to the wrapper lady who really didn't know how to wrap up a sub. I paid and left....thinking I may die later. Well...just so you know..I didn't die. I have no clue if anyone spit or did something to my sandwich. It could be all in my head.....or not. Either way...I am NOT going back! read more

All employees are great except one Extremely rude middle aged white lady with brown & blonde hair, red cheeks talking to adults like they are children and correcting them, she must have some sort of weird power trip thing but I think she's in the wrong industry because it seemed like she was trying to make all the customers feel belittled or wrong. She definitely hates her job and is taking it out on the customers. It's not a one time thing I've experienced this every time she works. read more

I have the app and ordered 20 minutes before coming and they didn't have it started at all and it took I kid you not 10 minutes after we got here for a girl to finish ordering her sandwich. They didn't greet me or ask why I was standing by the app pickup they didn't even care or acknowledge me so never ordering or coming here again. I work in food service and I have never been this way towards people. read more

My kids are really big fans of Subway so against my better judgment I took them there for a sandwich last night. When we arrived there was only one person working and she informed us she needed to take a break and would be back in 15 minutes. She got her purse, and walked out leaving the store completely unattended. She did come back approximately 15 minutes later and prepared our food. The dining room was pretty gross, and they were out of a lot of things. Their was broken equipment sitting off to the side of the entry. For sure this store wouldn't be in business if it weren't for the steady stream of unsuspecting tourists and lack of options. read more

Friday October 28 in the evening: I read the crappy reviews ahead of time and thought it was exaggerated. I decided to give it a chance anyway. The inside looked nice for a Subway so we walked up to order. The worker with the big hair didn't acknowledge me for about 30 seconds as he seemed pissed at something because he was slamming doors etc. When he finally came up to me he grumbled something unintelligible without making any eye contact. Nope. Decided to leave and go next door to the Safeway to get a sandwich. If employees consistently hate their jobs there (as per these reviews), I would be questioning the management. read more

I was a Dasher, and I came in to pick up an order. The woman told me that it should be on the pick up shelf, there's nothing there. she has the audacity to ask me is it not there? When there is literally nothing on any of the shells, I respond by saying I don't see it, and then she says oh, and then apologizes like five times while messing up on their order and then gets her manager to make it in less than a minute, I've worked fast food before I know It can get stressful, but when you only have two customers and one Dasher, it shouldn't be rocket science. Oh my lord. It was bad....like so bad that I should have walked out as soon as I saw the condition of the lobby. My husband and I stopped by here on Sunday (5/24/20) around 730pm. The lobby was a hot mess and the chips only had 5 bags left. The person ordering in front of us wanted cookies but was told that they were out of cookies for the night. We got up to order our food and were helped by a male employee who clearly HATES his job here. As my husband added toppings to his sandwich, the guy slopped it onto the bread. My husband asked for 2 lines of mayo on his sandwich, but at line 1 1/2, the mayo was empty. The guy checked the fridge to see if there was more stocked. Nope. So, he just served the sandwich with the 1 1/2 lines of mayo. When I ordered my sandwich I requested 2 lines of mayo on the bread. He shakes up the mayo container and proceeds to squirt whatever will come out. A blob the size of a silver dollar came out. He looked at me and said that's all of the mayo. I must have looked at him some type of way because he then told me that he could go make more mayo if I wanted....ummmm ya...I want. I mean the store is still open for 2 hours!!!! He squirted a crapton of mayo on my bread (he was being really dramatic) and then literally tossed the rest of my sandwich together. By the time we got home (7 minutes later) the food was totally inedible. We ended up getting food at another restaurant. read more

I have visited this store on several occasions and had great experiences. This evening was completely different. I brought my grandson from basketball practice at 6 pm. Gentleman that I see frequent was helping a customer with 3 large sandwiches ahead of me. The second man working came over and asked if I wanted a 6" or full sandwich, I noticed a hand written sign listing several items that were out of stock and I asked if all the breads were available. His response was "we have all the breads, we are out of other shit!". I request my sandwich and let him know that I will need a second sandwich on the same bread. He grabs the second loaf and asks me what I want again. He adds meat and cheese and then is reading the ingredients list, I recite the menu above him and explain that I am trying to help him. His response is to toss crumbs over the glass at me and say that is not helpful at all! The great employee ( dark curly hair with a ready smile) finished my order. Needless to say, I won't be back. Give the curly haired young man a raise and don't make him work with such a nasty coworker. There is another high school student who is always cheerful and courteous also. Watch out for the bad apples. read more

Stopped there on Sunday the 30th of May at 4 pm. Lobby was closed, they were open only to call in orders but yet no one answered the phones. You have a holiday weekend and refuse to open up your lobby to patrons and don't take phone orders. Their web site had nothing on it regarding the lobby or the restrictions. You would assume that one would want good coverage being a tourist town on a busy weekend. read more

My husband just stopped in at the Seaside Subway by the Safeway. He brought home 2 Subs.They were both on the White or Italian Bread. What a terrible disappointment! The bread was hard and chewy. Not soft and fresh like any other Subway we have ever bought Subs. We are not tourists. We are not tourists. We live here. We called the store. They don't care. Do NOT GO Here! Go to the one in Cannon Beach or Warrenton. read more

Place was very clean and the two girls working were very friendly and did a good job. One of the best subways I've been to.

I've never waited in line so long at a subway before ‍ terrible customer service , stood in a short line for 30mins I don't get what takes them so long they have no since of working efficiently. Showed up at 7:56PM.."open sign" was off although there were two people standing by the register talking with the one gal working behind the counter. This was by far the worst subway i have ever been to. i have literally travelled across the country and had better service in the middle of no where. Two of the employees were going slow, being inattentive and one of the two even walked to the back when she heard someone walk in to say "long time no see" to the fellow employee before pulling out her phone and texting in the middle of preparing a sandwich. are they all high?? their manager should drug test or hire people who can actually do a job. never coming here again read more

Great Subway in Seaside near the Safeway store. It's large and roomy and clean. The server was extremely helpful and the sandwich foods appeared fresh. We always like to have our tomatoes and onions on the sandwich before toasting, and he complied easily. Good service, good food. read more
