This was a terrible experience and a real disappointment. Went through the drive through with a friend for lunch and ordered two 6 piece tender combo meals with coleslaw for the sides on both. We should have checked the order before we pulled away. We got homes to finish a day of shopping, and enjoy our lunch and found out the coleslawI ordered for a side was mashed potatoes with a teaspoon of gravy. That was not the worst part either. The "tenders" were anything but tender. They were dry rubbery salty chicken like imitations. Horrible food and zombie like employees with no emotions not even a smile and a thank you. Okay, 2+ weeks open and they're telling me (after I've been waiting 5 minutes already) it will be 45 minutes until I receive my Combo #1. I'm standing by the counter listening to the expeditor apologize time and again, give away small cakes when folks complain, and say things like, "I'm sorry, we haven't had (insert at least 4 items here) for a couple of days." For the most part customers are understanding and appreciate having a KFC in town after a long absence (me too). As a former management consultant to this industry this is the worst store opening I've ever experienced. Nevertheless, I persist. 31 minutes down. 14 minutes to go? We'll see. Okay, 34 minutes and happily walking out the door. Franchisee/ Corporate: 1 star for being this far into a new store open and still not being on top of supplies and customer wait times. Staff: 5 stars for being happy, friendly and courteous in the midst of a stressful time. Food: 4.5 stars, it was hot and tasty, but they gave me the wrong side. Store: 5 stars, it's new and they're keeping it clean. I'll give it another few weeks and try again. I expect they'll have it sorted out by then. If so I'll amend this review. read more

I love KFC but damnit if this branch can't get one single order correct. Every time, yes EVERY TIME I order takeout/delivery the order is missing an item or several. The last few deliveries were missing extra sides I ordered, hell one was missing an entire entree item. Ironically I always order mashed potatoes WITHOUT gravy and every time, there's gravy. Without fail unless I'm standing over them to remind them. This time I ordered mashed WITH gravy, what came? Plain Mashed potatoes, no gravy, and the extra side of gravy I ordered was missing as well. Oh and the extra biscuits. This is what I get trying to prep for their crummy service. Last time they left out the mashed potatoes bowl, so I thought if I just ordered mashed potatoes with gravy we can add the tenders and make our own bowl. But of course no gravy... I can't with this branch. Other than the crack like lemonade the only thing they had going for them was popcorn chicken and then they drop it off the menu. It was awful and all when I told the cashier her and another girl upfront basically told me it was fresh and kind of implied that I was idiot for complaining I left call the manager back explain to the manager how I was treated And she explain to me that the chicken was made when they opened at 10:30 and they are good for four hours so they made my chicken sandwich two hours before the lunch rush. We were headed out for a 4 day camping trip with 6 other families. We picked up our order as planned. We arrived at our destination 60 miles away and when we opened the bag half our order was missing. When we returned home 4 days later I phoned the manager to inform them of the problem. He told me there was nothing he could do because it had been 4 days I explained we had no cell service and he said he could not help me. I will never return and word of mouth goes a long way and I have a really big mouth. I'd give them zero stars if I could. They are sooooooo slow. Sitting in line to order at the drive through, watching the staff goof off through the windows. They are averaging one order every 10 minutes. They need a manager on duty or hire employees that do their jobs. We've been stuck in the drive through line for 49 minutes and three cars have gotten though. Tonight I ordered a 3 piece meal and an extra side of coleslaw. Outsie of the outrageous price to buy their buckets, it wasn't too bad. I ordered the extra xrispy and noticed it was missing the seasonings. It tasted as if just dipped in flour mix and fried. The employee didn't give me any utensils, butter etc. Chicken was good but I had to wait until I got home to finish the meal. That was last year. Today I stopped by KFC for the $30 fill up. I added an extra Slaw because it goes fast. When I got home to Burney, it was still warm. Yum, going to enjoy this I thought. I started taking out the goodies from the bag and noticed it was missing my extra slaw. On the bottom was the other container so I pulled it out. The bottom of the container was covered, not even a third was in there. Saddened deeply of course I pulled out the mashed tators, the second one on the bottom was barely enough to fill a spoon. My first time getting to go to the new KFC and bought food for 3 family members and the line inside was not that long and we got home and all the food was there :) So remember to take the time to look in your own bags on to go orders, I always do :) There is only one KFC and they need to bring it back to Anderson, Ca too :) This is why they are getting long lines, KFC needs to put up another one ASAP to help them out with only having one business at one location :) I am going back today too for those mini sandwich's as they are too good and so was the French fries too :) Yummy :) Build a new KFC in Anderson Please, so we don't have to drive to Redding to get your great chicken and all your food :) You have to remember this business is getting hit hard as it is the only location so the employees are flying in there, so things are going to get missed so help them out by looking in your bags so KFC can fix it right then :) read more

This store has quality and management issues. These young employees have no common sense. They put 6 things in a bag and turn the dessert biscuits on their side to accommodate stuffing everything in 1 bag. Management should School these kids. Restaurant is dirty. Again management should assign a lobby clean up person for every shift. The chicken tenders were overcooked and dry like they were under the heat lamp for hours. Quality matters. Just cause you busy doesn't mean you are serving good food. Corporate fix this! Word will get out and ut will be harder to get those customers you lost back again! Come on people!
