KFC delivers on it's goal of fast food as the drive through was efficient and timely. Even with 5 cars in line, the ordering process was smooth and efficient. Sadly, the food did not live up to expectations. While the chicken tender pieces were larger than normal, the batter seems to have changed and the chicken itself was rather chewy and inconsistent between pieces. One tasted normal and flavorful, another was chewy and tough, and another tasted as if it was not quite done, and then re-fried again. And this location did not seem to participate in some of the advertised specials for the chain which was disappointing but understandable given the state of restaurants these days. Also, the "new" fries have got to go. The supposed use of the same recipe as the chicken breading on the fries, does not do anyone any favors. It tastes overly salty and odd. I would 100% toss these out and bring back the potatoes wedges, even though I am a fan of crispier thinner fries. For KFC, the fries are a no go. Stick with other side dish options. Overall a good quick stop if the craving hits you, but just don't expect it to be the KFC of yesteryear as the flavor is just not quite the same. read more

The absolute worst customer service experience I've had in a while. I just left this location, about 6 miles away (hungry and tired so wasn't going back tonight). When I got there, I had to wait over 10 minutes behind a man already waiting just to get his order taken. I watched a frazzled cashier struggle with his order. Second red flag, but me and my friend were hungry, tired of waiting and ordered anyway. Third red flag was the same incompetent cashier overcharging the man in line behind me. He was calm about it, calmer than I would be. Fourth red flag was getting home and discovering that not only did they cheat me out of a third piece of chicken, but also a second waffle. No syrup or other condiments included. Who does that? What fast food restaurant charges someone $10 for a meal and only serve half the food? This one. I am so livid! Fifth red flag was calling this location five times in a row with absolutely no one making an effort to answer the phone. I'm always very empathetic to service workers, but fast food isn't rocket science. There's no excuse for this level of incompetence. Expectations when going to a fast food drive thru are not high, however, when a patron has a complaint the manager should be willing to face those keeping them in business to hear the concern, don't you think? A nice young girl took my son's order and mentioned we would need to wait for a fresh batch of tenders, no problem. The issue was being asked to pull into the handicap spot with a sign stating it is a $250.00 fine. Not to mention taking up a spot for someone who may need it. I told her I would not do that but I would pull up behind the car in front of me which also seemed to be waiting. Now this is where it gets strange! While I did get close to the car in front of me, closer than I normally would, I did NOT touch the car in front of us. I put my car in park and started to wait for the order. After about six minutes, as TWO of the workers headed out to bring the person in the car in front of us their food, a horn honked and a guy jumps out of the car and says what's going on and comes back and looks at his bumper and says I hit his car! I was in Park and not moving. He said it wasn't a problem because his bumper was metal and I said I did not hit your car because I haven't moved and he said smiling, "Well you did, but it's OK." The two girls immediately, almost in a rehearsed way, seemed to side with him and complain and rolled eyes about me saying that they had told me to park in the handicap parking and I wouldn't. My son said, "Mom, don't they know we can hear them and see them?" With that I got out of the car as the car in front of us drove out of the parking lot only to pull back into Smart and Final's parking lot next door as I followed the ladies in and asked to see the manager AND waited TEN minutes. The manager would not come out and I asked to speak to the girl who tended to us to let her know I thought her reaction was rude and inappropriate. Finally the young girl came over and tried to tell me she didn't do what I saw her do and an assistant manager said the manager was too busy to come and talk to me. Now, on the scale of things, if this is the worst thing that happens to us all today how lucky are we, right? But as a business owner one has to think, if this was my business, I would want to know that the manager wouldn't come out and talk to a patron. Am I a bit of a Karen? Maybe, but common courtesy, please! Be careful out there. Time to install that dash cam... I am also curious; has anyone gotten a ticket after being told to park in a handicap spot by a business? 3/8/23 So I ordered a 3pc meal combo today at the KFC in Verdugo and Colorado.They received my order at 1331 for pick up. I came in at 1400 for pick up but was told that my order 'was a while ago' but it's no longer at the pick up counter anymore. So I asked what happened to it. Amazing customer service. The girls that help me on 3/22/24 showed amazing care and provide me with great service. My son had surgery and I needed a quick soft meal. My husband and I decided to get chicken on November 12, 2021 at approximately 9:30 PM. We always get the $25 fill up box, we were in the drive-through the cashier stated that they were out of biscuits but we could wait for them to make some fresh ones which would take approximately 20 minutes. So I decided to wait the 20 minutes go back through the drive-through she stated that the biscuits had about 40 seconds to be done we were asked for into a parking space so that their a timer on their window would stop. Where did in a parking space for approximate an additional 10 minutes .. mind you she said the biscuits going to take away 40 seconds. We go back to the drive-through window and noticed that there was a large bag sitting and waiting for cashier are the biscuits ready she almost looked around and confusion the same cashier took our order. She didn't start a talking to someone to her left which sounded like they were sweeping the floor, she grabbed the bag and gave it to us. I asked her what was her store number for that location and she said she didn't know I asked her could she ask one of her coworkers The coworker did not know I asked for a supervisor the supervisors name is Desiree ( she was nice ) ... she explain to me what took so long was the young man that prepared the biscuits did not put the biscuits all together instead he separated them and when she looked inside the oven she noticed that the biscuits were not getting done. Once we got our food finally and arrived home which was approximately four minutes from that location our food was cold, The chicken was very greasy and I've never gotten greasy chicken from KFC before. The biscuits were not nothing like there a normal biscuits .. they were extremely dry. All in all horrible horrible horrible .. They do NOT help their customers. They aren't doing the bowls for the advertised $3. They aren't good about asking customers if they've been helped. They don't have a good answer for you when you ask them why they don't participate in those promotions. They just make you upset and don't seem to care why you are upset after you'd been waiting in line for so long to ask them for the deals that you'd come in for only to find that they aren't one of the "participating" locations.
