We're new to the area so decided to try a local pizza place as opposed to a national chain. We were not disappointed. Only one table inside so definitely a delivery or take-out place as opposed to a dine-in restaurant. Ordered online and food was ready when I got there so not much interaction with the staff. It was 8:30 on a Friday evening so they looked a little tired. There was a car blocking the handicap parking place and since I was the only customer I wondered if it was staff or delivery person. I had difficulty using the website to place a specific order, so I called in for assistance. I'm sad to give this review. I have been ordering from this Ameci's for years and have always been a happy customer. Until today. I'm not sure if they have changed ownership in the past few months, as I haven't ordered in a whole, and it was super disappointing. Not only is the food not is good but there is some very silly up charging. The appetizers used to come with sides of marinara sauce, the appetizers aren't complete without them. Now you have to pay .75cents for a very small sauce, and it's not even the quality of the sauce they used to use. The old sauce was chunky, and hearty with rice flavor. Now it's cheap, bland watery sauce that you're paying extra for. Sadly I think this was my last over from them. read more
