We ordered family-style with luleh kabob, beef kabob, chicken kabob, salad, appetizers, and plenty of sides for the group. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The kabobs were tender and well-seasoned, the salads were crisp and fresh, and all of the appetizers were a big hit with our guests. Even with a large order, everything was ready on time and packaged well. It's always difficult finding a place that can consistently deliver quality food for a big family event, but Leo's exceeded our expectations. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and we received several compliments from family members asking where the food came from. Worse attitude by the owner. Cold atmosphere. There is no warmness in the place to welcome customers in to dine. 2 other customers in this place beside my 3 people party., they were Talking loud with no consideration for others. My order consisted of rice BBQ and 2 sides., since I dont eat rice I wanted to substitute it with a yogurt dip. I was rejected the substitution which it would have cost nothing much since a yogurt is as cheap as rice. The hummus tasted like the paste you get out of the can,horrible. Leo's Pizza has the best delivery pizza in the Sunland-Tujunga area! The menu is quite large with excellent salads! I wish they were open 7 days a week especially during football season! The prices are hands down the most reasonable around and allow you to get dessert even if you are on a budget. The service here was great, and the food was delicious. We didn't realize they have a Mediterranean menu as well and we'd like to come back and sample those dishes as well. We did order the hummus as an appetizer and we loved it. We hade the Leo special as well as 1/2 a cheese pizza because...well...it's pizza and we do pizza reviews... The crust was delicious, sweet and crunchy without being a cracker. The saucy was a good blend of spicy yet sweet the way we like. We were a little disappointed with the cheese in that it wasn't a cheap cheese ( salty) but it wasn't a good cheese either, ( it didn't stretch when hot) but it was still delicious...like I said we will be back. What I've had so far that's great: - BBQ chicken pizza (one of my favorites) - deluxe pizza - meat lovers pizza - pepperoni - Armenian pizza (good light pizza with a thin crust and without sauce) The dough on the bbq chicken was a bit thicker (doughy) than I'd normally go with but you can ask for thin crust. I decided to give this pizza a try after a lengthy layoff due to better options available in the area, and boy, did I regret it. They literally burned the pizza. How do you burn a pizza and have the audacity to still deliver it. We brought it up to the delivery driver, and he brushed it off and stated that people are eating it like this now. I wasn't aware that carcinogen was a new pizza topping. When we called the restaurant, they were very dismissive, rude, and did nothing to resolve the issue. They went out of their way to NOT apologize and just stated that they'll try to do better next and to remind them not to burn the pizza. I'm not exaggerating! Their pizza is not good enough, burnt or not, to have such horrid customer service. Pizza to the rescue! We were headed to my nephew's house for the baby shower after-party celebration. On the drive back I phoned him and asked, "Would you like me to pick anything up?" Without hesitation, "Pizza!" was his response. I sensed he wasn't able to thoroughly enjoy the meal at the baby shower since he was going around thanking everybody. So, I did what a good auntie would do...ordered pizza for delivery! While picking up some beverages at the local Vons grocery store, I deferred to my Yelp app to find the closest pizza place that could deliver within a reasonable amount of time. That's when I found Leo's Pizza. Viewing the menu online through Yelp was user-friendly. Ordering and paying was a breeze. I decided on two XL pizza's which would be cut into 18 slices each! Perfect!! We expected 10-12 people at the house. When in doubt, order Pepperoni, right?! $14.99. Second choice? Pretty much everything on it. So, I opted for Leo's House Special Pizza which included Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Canadian Bacon, Onions, Sausage, Olives, Green Pepper, Salami, Pineapple, and Jalapeno, with Cheese and Tomato Sauce - $24.99. Promised delivery was 45 minutes or sooner. Perfect! After picking up drinks and paper plates, I arrived at the house and was able to settle in before the doorbell finally rang with the pizzas. Boy oh boy! Friends and family arrived with an appetite and the pizzas were all gobbled up within an hour.
