Yuck is the word that comes to mind. I picked up two medium pizza and I bite it and there's literally no sauce on it. So I called them and they said oh there's sauce on it. You need to order extra sauce. I said there's no sauce on my pizza. They said of course they're sauce. I can't taste it at all. And I don't like when I call them. Agree with David S (12/12/25) Had a pizza. It was awful. The crust (I use the term loosely) was as chewy as an automobile tire's innertube it was also slightly burned at the end. The sauce was pretty much non-existent. Ordered peppers, mushrooms and olives. Could see the peppers and even tasted a few. There were a number of olives but finding the mushrooms was rather difficult. To put it simply, the absolutely WORST pizza I EVER HAD. Great pizza. Love their dough, cheese, and ingredients - and one of the few places where I actually eat the crust too... because it's GOOD dough. Can't go wrong with a regular cheese, pepperoni, or ham pizza. However, my favorite here has to be the bbq chicken pizza (though it has room for improvement - if the onions were cut smaller and it had just a bit more cilantro). Pasta: I've had their Alfredo pasta. It's good. Nothing crazy. Would rather save my pasta cravings for another place but it's still decent. Pizza is the thing to get here though. read more

I had been going to Guidos pizza for as long as I can remember. We just moved out here in Tujunga and seen a Guidos was so close by! I continue to come to Guidos due to the quality tasting pizza, it's amazing! I am giving this particular Guidos a one star because the service and professionalism for a female employee needs a lot of work. We ordered the stuffed shells pasta and a pizza. Pizza was great! As soon as we opened the tray for the shells, we noticed the whole top half of the shells were very hard,dry and inedible. I don't know the name of the lady at the front, but she is about 40-50 yrs old with dark hair. She was very rude. We kindly asked her if the pasta can either be remade or get a refund. She then immediately refused for it to be remade or give us a refund. She continued to say "it's been made like this for 30 years." We have ordered stuffed shells multiple times in the past and it was always cooked perfectly and edible at that. After a few minutes of showing her the pasta for proof of how it was so hard. She then walked to the kitchen and came back to give us a full refund in a very rude manner. She then asked us to give her back our half eaten bread and salad as well. We gave it back and she left our refund on the table. I am willing to give this place a second chance because the food that always brings back memories! I had kind of a weird experience when I came here. Called ahead and ordered cheese ravioli, they told me 25 minutes. When I repeated 25 minutes in shock, they quickly backtracked and told me 15-20. So I drove over and paid, the food wasn't ready yet but I didn't expect it to be. I was the only person in there other than they staff, and they had a very loud and heated discussion in another language the ENTIRE time I was there. It continued through me paying and getting my food and no pause for even, "have a nice day" I don't care that it was in another language. I'm going to be honest with you, Guido's might not be the best Italian food you'll ever eat, but it's freaking reliable! Growing up, my parents would announce "no one wants to cook, we're ordering Guido's" and me and my sisters would be happy. It's a solid choice, plenty of selection across the menu, and they actually know how long a pizza should be in the oven! We decided to give this place a try bc they had fair prices and it's always fun try new pizza place (who would disagree with that?). It was a Friday night and we had a hard week. Delivery took over an hour and we live less than a mile away. Okay- we can deal with that, they must be busy. Then, I received a couple phone calls from the driver and the business. I called back all the numbers within 3 - 6 minutes and they wouldn't pick up. When I finally got through they blamed me for not being able to find my house and that is was my fault for talking too long to call back. Somehow that meant THEY WOULD NO LONGER DELIVER MY PIZZAS. They told me I would not be receiving my pizzas and they would "try" to refund my money. He was also rude on the phone and tried to claim Google maps isn't accurate and also pretended not to hear me when I was talking to him. Don't bother with these dough boys. There was hardly any meat on the pizza and of that we could only I.D. Sausage, Pepperoni, possibly bologna and nothing extra about the cheese. The crust was tough and chewy. The thin layer of toppings was sparse & dry with very little taste. It was a crappy pizza = 2 stars 2. I was overcharged. The on-line menu priced the pizza at $21.99 but I was charged $25.88... When I asked about it the guy said the difference was "tax." Tried this place for the first time since it is close and the good pizza places in Tujunga have gone mostly belly-up. Ordered an Extra Large Vegetarian and was disappointed that it was nothing special. Basic Smart and Final frozen pizza is as good. This was a delivery to my home and they were on time and the pizza was fresh and hot. However the taste was bland-no zip or pep. Just blah.
