I'm a foodie and this is my favorite food restaurant in all of L.A. The food, service, ambiance and location are all exceptional. Everything on the menu is to die for. My favorite is the trout. WOW. But the seafood linguini, the salmon, etc. would be my top choices at any other place. I want to try everything on the menu but it's so hard to resist the trout. These people are amazing!

Villa Terraza never disappoints! The portions are generous, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, and the quality is always consistent. The service is fantastic, the ambiance is welcoming and cozy, and the food is truly amazing. Everyone there is so kind and makes you feel right at home. We'll never miss an opportunity to stop in and enjoy a meal at Villa Terraza because we know it will not disappoint!

This is such a hidden gem! It's always nice to find places in LA area that you wouldn't have to deal with the hustle and bustle of the city. Both the exterior and interior of the restaurant give European vibes. We had the calamari, spaghetti, ribeye steak and a side of sausage - all were delicious. Shout out to our server Joseph who pleasantly took care of our needs while dining.

Had been up in the area the other night, at decided to give this restaurant a try. Definitely out of the way unless you live up in Sunland area or just happen to be in the area for some reason. Didn't have a reservation but there weren't many people on a Saturday night so we were seated right away. Started off with the bruschetta. One thing about the crispy garlic bread if that they are fragile. Tried picking up two of them and they both broke apart. Could have been due to the toppings being too moist, or maybe they were just frail pieces of bread? Either way, ended up being more of a mess to eat than it would have been For entrees we had the pumpkin ravioli and the beef lasagna. The ravioli had a nice pumpkin flavor inside while the butter sage sauce on top didn't really feel very fresh. The flavor of the sauce was ok, felt something was missing though. The lasagna was big and hearty, with a nice amount of beef paired with the ricotta cheese and mozzarella. Was actually a good slice of lasagna. Overall, a decent restaurant with some good things about the food, with some areas that could be improved.

We got food poisoning. Absolutely horrendous diarrhea and i couldn't even drive home and it ruined all of my clothes I've never gotten so sick from food before. Definitely not up to standards. Dont go there

Super good food at great prices! The service is also really good here. We came in when it was happy hour and ordered the arancini (5), fried zucchini (7) and mozzarella sticks (7), plus some house wine (7). For main courses we ordered the pumpkin ravioli, beef ravioli and filet mignon. Everyone was happy with their dish! Definitely a place we will be coming back to.

Came here Christmas Eve eve for dinner with my lovely partner and my mother to give them both a real treat. V.T. Is an awesome hideaway and tonight they had live music with a wonderful keyboard player and singer (one woman band)! Got some Christmas favorites in the set. Settled in our booth and enjoyed the new menus, they came out a couple months ago apparently. The California salad is very delicious with thinly sliced green apples. My first time with the cheese manicotti and Italian sausage. That was a big hit. Dear one got the seafood linguini, she liked that dish and mom enjoyed eggplant parmigiana. Pinot Grigio was a good pairing. Dessert of bread pudding exceeded expectations by far, really good.

Villa Terrazza is a quiet, charming Italian spot with good food at fair prices. We loved the calamari, Caesar salad, and my kid's fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm with spaghetti. I tried the Capellini alla Checca -- it was just okay, a bit underwhelming. Same with the spumoni ice cream. The building has historic charm, but it felt a little empty, which made it seem run down. Still, the vibe is nice, and I'm surprised more people don't go. We'd definitely return!

There were three tables inside. Newspaper clippings were placed on the walls along with certificates and decorations. Bars were on windows. Shades or curtains were placed on other windows. Cannoli were no longer in the fridges. I went here years ago so I noticed the small changes. Smells of food wafted through the deli. Menus were placed at the top of the wall. It's great that they take Apple Pay. I had to move my phone around to make sure the system processed my card but it worked. I think they updated their POS system. So, one of my spawns, on Monday said let's grabbed lunch. Whatever you want, sushi, ramen, Korean bbq. I said let's go HH at the Ramp. My child couldn't believe it, but Matriarch ruled. We went with no expectations. We had several $4 margaritas, wings, mozzarella sticks, cheese bread, nachos, and split a cheeseburger with fries. Everything was pretty decent if not delicious. The wings were well done (our preference), the mozzarella sticks had a nice cheese pull, the nachos, were baked but each chip was crispy and fresh, the burger was good (soft artisanal bun), the fries were decent steak fries ( I'm not a fan of steak fries). The margaritas were on the rocks and made with margarita mix. they seemed like they would sneak up on you. Still tasty. Staff were attentive and great! The best part we spent under $100.00 w/tip! I'm looking forward to our next visit and try their pastas and other items. Great place for HH.

Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We parked in one of their 3 parking spots in the back and entered through the rear entrance. We were greeted by Aya who mentioned they were having some plumbing problems so we needed to sit in the front section of the restaurant. The place is pretty small and compact, with about 10 tables. It's family owned and been around for 25 years. The prices are pretty affordable for the portion sizes. Not much ambiance or decorations, but there was some nice Italian music playing overhead and some Christmas decorations that are apparently hung up year-round. Both Thomas and Aya waited on us and they were both pleasant and kind with nice smiles. Thomas quickly brought out some waters along with their complimentary focaccia that came with olive tapenade. The bread tasted old and stale and wasn't warm, but I liked the tapenade. Surprisingly, we were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink and also never got refills on our waters until I had to ask for one. I ordered the Italian salad with dressing on the side and I asked if the carrots that came in the salad were cooked or raw, since I don't like raw carrots. Aya happily suggested that they can cook me some carrots separately and bring them on the side, which is what they did. Even though the carrots were not really cooked that well, the gesture was still greatly appreciated. Other than that, all the ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was LIGHT, just how I like it. For our entrèes, I got the Pollo Della Cassa which came with chicken breast and mushrooms baked with mozzarella cheese, served on pasta with Alfredo sauce. ($24.95), with an add-on of shrimp (+$3.00 for 3 shrimps). I also asked for light sauce, not too soupy, and that's exactly how it was prepared. The food was piping hot, very fresh, and delicious. My son ordered the Pollo Limone ($24.95) that came with grilled chicken breast with lemon sauce on mushroom risotto. He was not the biggest fan of his food but still ate all of it. He also asked if he could get a side of veggies and they gladly brought out a medley of sautéed broccoli, zucchini, and carrots. We were not charged for the side of veggies and also the salad, which was very generous of them. To end the meal, you get a small complimentary square of Tiramisu which is a nice little treat. The customer service is truly the best part of this restaurant and you can tell that there is a lot of love involved here. They really care about their guests and want you to feel happy and satisfied. Due to some minor ticks here and there, I think I am going to stick with 4 stars overall. The restaurant was clean but just kind of unpleasant. You could also smell the bleach right when you walk in and sometimes the smell would waft through the air. It was also really hot in the restaurant and I don't think the A/C was working. They have one bathroom for each gender and they were very clean. I also asked for some change to leave cash for the tip, but Thomas told me they didn't have any cash in the restaurant. How can that be? Thank you Spumoni, Aya, Thomas, and the chefs. Will I return? Maybe, maybe not.

Place is impeccably clean. Love their open kitchen, it's so neat to see their chefs working hard and diligently to make their food delicious. I love their slushy drink, so refreshing and tasty. It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it. Love their octopus appetizer (super tender, melt in my mouth), fried artichokes (light and airy) and squid ink seafood pasta. Their tiramisu has pieces of chocolate's, oh so delicious!!

This review is a long time coming but I wanted to see first if the restaurant would right their…read morewrong...they did not. I made a reservation for Easter Brunch through OpenTable for me and my son. We got there about five minutes before our reservation at noon and the hostess told us to wait outside until they were open. Not a problem. HOWEVER, she never came back out to get us once they were open which was my first red flag because she left us waiting about 10 minutes past our reservation time. I go back inside to ask if we were going to be seated for our reservation and she asks under what name...mind you I was there before opening so she already had my name and time for reservation before no one else was there yet. The food itself was great but our service was absolutely terrible. We weren't checked on throughout the meal (again the restaurant was NOT crowded) and after completing our meal I realized the hostess deleted my reservation. For those who use OpenTable you know you get points for every completed reservation. I reached out privately to management first about my overall experience to hopefully rectify the issue. I wasn't looking for any incentives but that they at least train their wait staff better and resubmit my reservation in the system so I could both redeem my points and leave a review. It never happened. In an economy where everything is expensive just stepping outside I really value good service as well as good food. If the food is great but service is terrible I will never go back and this is that spot. Discrimination shows up in different ways and I will not patronize a business who blatantly does not show all of their customers the same level of respect and service. Posted pictures so you know I'm not a hater...food was great. Service was absolutely not it lol.
