This place is all about the ambiance! We were looking for exactly that! The outdoor area is cozy and spacious all at once. Perfect for a summer evening. Inside there are also some super cozy booths that are walled off between them, which I always love (reminds me of a place I worked in college). Our dinners were good, my partner got the salmon special and said it was the most tender cooked salmon he'd ever had. I had the chicken piccata which was good and the prices are definitely reasonable. Always a gem in 2024. Bar is beer and wine, which always works well for us. They appear to have musical guests from time to time. Our server was attentive and delightful. There's parking on site and it seems plentiful enough. Pretty good Italian spot in Shadow hills. Wanted some Italian food for dinner on a Monday night. It was raining and we decided to come here. Service was great - friendly and fast and the food was decent. They played Frank Sinatra which was nice. Started with the fried calamari but also got the complementary garlic bread for spending $50 or more. Both were yummy and we were pretty full after this, but we also ordered the fish special and the chicken forza pasta for our mains. Both were tasty enough - not like crazy good Italian food but enjoyable nonetheless. Was really full but got the crème brûlée cheesecake to go. Overall a cool spot. read more

This cute spot is a hidden valley gem! Totally makes you forget that you are in Los Angeles. It has a cozy home vibe, perfect for date night!They have the option to sit indoor or on their cute patio. However, after being seated outside, service was really s-l-o-w at our table and along our neighboring vicinity. The food also wasn't as impressive to me unfortunately. I was looking for a good place to have Italian dinner with my wife, her mom & her sister near Burbank and found this place on Yelp. After checking out the pictures of the food and the prices, we decided to go there. First, the food was amazing! My wife & her mom loved the trout they ordered, my sister-in-law's salmon pasta looked incredible, and my chicken parmesan was great. And all at surprisingly affordable prices! Also, the restaurant kind of looks like a little castle and has an interesting history. My family and I celebrated Mother's Day at the Villa Terraza and had a fabulous day with our mom. We were greeted with a warm, friendly smile as we walked in, and all the ladies were given a beautiful rose. We were seated at our table which was nice because it was shaped in a circle so we all would be able to chat together without feeling left out in a conversation. The ambiance was beautiful with all the lovely flowers and the charm of the grounds. It was fantastically a warm and inviting space. The servers were on point. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs for water, and more drinks, removing our plates promptly without being overbearing. The food was a buffet of an omelet made with your choice, french toast, waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, penne pasta, fish, vegetables, and fruit. ALL of it was so good so I went back for seconds. We left very full. We appreciated the whole ambiance and the price. It was reasonable and fit our budget. The restaurant by itself is a hole in the wall. You might passed by 100 times without noticing it. But when you discover this place, I promise, you want to go back very often. Had an event here over the weekend, and everyone loved the venue, the ambiance, and the food. Upon arrival, the stress of setting up on the patio quickly went away. The tables were already set up, the staff were friendly and helpful and the service was on par with expectations. Our friends and family loved every bit of it and couldn't stop asking us how we found the place. Thanks so much to Leslie for getting us straightened out, giving us the flexibility, as well as the accessibility to make our party memorable and positive. Even when our bill got a little messed up, we got a call to rectify it which made us love this place even more. We will definitely be returning customers. Big hugs to the staff. I came with my boyfriend, and we loved our time here. We sat inside because it was a bit windy, but we walked outside after we ate and it made me want to come back and sit outside the next time we come! The ground are beautiful and the history is interesting. We had a cute little private booth inside, and our waitress was great! We ordered the mozzarella sticks and calamari to start us off, and loved both because of the tasty breading on each. My boyfriend said he especially liked the dipping sauce, it was sooo yummy. He ordered his chicken parmesan with spicy marinara, making it be perfectly spicy. The chicken itself was great and very decently sized. I ordered the seafood linguine with Alfredo sauce and it was amazing!! The fish was tender, shrimp cooked great, and muscles and clams weren't fishy at all. Both pastas were perfectly cooked. Our only "hiccup" was that our waitress came back and told us she forgot to put in our entrees to the kitchen so we waited a while for the food, but kindly made up for it with giving us the spumoni ice cream on the house. I had a similar experience to Jeanine F. I ordered the eggplant parm and for like $18 or $19, it was fairly small and not over spaghetti like everywhere else. Cant fault the place as it wasn't listed in the description. Just odd though that if you get chicken parm it comes with it. Cheesy bread was good but honestly it seemed like it was frozen garlic bread with just chedder cheese melted on top. Just overpriced imo and no complimentary bread at all. The service was fine. Not great, not bad. I feel like this place is really just about ambiance and history more than anything else. Wouldn't return as the food wasn't good enough to warrant the drive as there are better (and cheaper) mom and pop places near me. I saw the response from the manager. Maybe you should mention on your menu that you have complimentary bread....I cannot imagine most people know this. read more

I stopped by again this evening to enjoy a birthday dinner with my girlfriend. I asked if there were heaters outdoors and unfortunately there were not, but we still sat there anyways. The outdoor area was messy, with common patio tables/chairs scattered all over the place. Our server (who I believe is the owner's son) was attentive and friendly. We ordered an appetizer but never received, and when our main courses were ready with no appetizer in sight, the server said he forgot to inform us that they were out of the appetizer we wanted. Nonetheless, the food was still delicious. The starter salad with honey mustard dressing was the perfect portion size and tasted great. I ordered the shrimp scampi with cream sauce and a side of mashed potatoes and vegetables. I was beyond satisfied with my meal and was full, but not overly stuffed. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and all of the elements of the plate were well seasoned. I tried some of my girlfriend's marinara pasta and it was delicious as well. The sauce was thick and flavorful and definitely tasted homemade. I let the server know it was my girlfriend's birthday and he brought out a spumoni ice cream with a candle and sang "happy birthday" to her. The food here is spot on, but they might just need to make a few minor tweaks here and there. read more

5 stars just isn't enough for this wonderful restaurant and staff! My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here because we've heard great reviews from our neighbors and the local community. Patricia was amazing, quick and so thoughtful. Leslie the manager was helpful and kind, my wife ordered the Cobb salad and forgot to ask for no bacon, completely our fault and they took it back and gave us a fresh one at no charge! The cheesy garlic bread is #1 on our list and is famous for its flavor. The inside and outside are beautiful and it feels like a vacation away from home. Better than any chain restaurant by a mile! My son made a reservation for Valentines Day and ended up with an experience that was not a memorable one for him and his girlfriend. They lost his reservation (even though it was in the book ) and he had to wait for a table for over several minutes while others were seated before him . They finally sat them , but outside with no working heaters available. Both were not approached for over 30 minutes.No greeting, no drink order , nothing and then ignored throughout the evening by the waiter and several staff. Food was mediocre but garlic bead was delicious. Busboys were great and saved the day by doing the waiters job. Bottom line. You guys use jarred sauce (at least for your alfredo) and i am assuming you make your salad dressings out of mayonnaise or something as such. Word of advice... FIRE YOUR CHEF and STOP LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. You have a great location for a potentially successful restaurant, but you need a well trained CHEF.
