We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and placed an order to-go. The location looks much like any other casual sandwich chain. The wait was a bit long but not awful. We got home and cracked open our three sandwiches. We ordered the Asian chicken wrap, the pastrami cheesesteak, and the kids turkey and cheese which came with chips and a bottled water. The cheesesteak was good and I liked the flavors. I did think the bread was a bit tough and the toppings weren't much. The Asian chicken wrap was super unbalanced. It had way too much lettuce and nearly no meat. The kids sandwich was fine, no complaints there. Overall I felt like the portions weren't great for nearly $40 worth of food. I expected a lot from all of the great things I had heard about TOGO's but it seems like the current Yelp reviews are reflecting that things aren't as hyped as I expected and my experience aligns. I'm still going with a 4 but I do think you can get a better sandwich for the money elsewhere.

I went to Burger King in Gardnerville this afternoon. When I got there, there were seven elderly people and couples already in the restaurant. I stood at the counter to place my order, I had to wait and listen to one worker discussing his tattoos with fellow employees. He discussed at length, how he chose the particular tattoos, how long they took to complete and the total price (990.00 btw). Once he acknowledged me, I ordered a Whopper with cheese. He didn't give me an order number so I just stood to the side to wait for my order. As I filled my drink, I noticed a complete mess at the drink station...liquid all over the counter and floor, the lids were thrown around and there was trash near the soda machine. As I waited and elderly woman asked if they had anymore ketchup as the bin on the counter was empty. Tattoo told her that the ketchup was in the bin on the counter and walked away. When he resurfaced, the woman told him that she asked for more ketchup because the bin was empty. Tattoo made a loud sigh, went into the back and a couple of minutes later came back with more ketchup. He acted like it was a chore for him to do it. My order arrived and he called "my number" even through he had not given me one. He called it several times and I asked if it was my order since I didn't have a number. He replied "it's a Whopper, that's what you order." I took my food to the table and opened my burger...it was very cold and had no cheese. Rather than interrupting Tattoo, I just began eating it. As I was eating Tattoo was talking to someone in the back and every other word was f*ch and sh!t. He was talking loud enough that the other patrons were looking at each other. This continued until a teenaged girl came in and inquired about a job. Tattoo told her that there was no one to interview view here now and she would have come back later and then told her "you don't want to work here anyway." Needless to say this was not my best Burger King experience. The management really needs to take a look at this restaurant as well as some of the employees.

I feel like they are a friendly neighborhood sandwich shop and NOT just a franchise run by people who are ho-hum. The more interactions, the happier I am with the outcome. Favorites are number one and the RB provolone....I love that I can get a small 5 inch for me and a larger version of a sandwich for my husband and we get EXACTLY what we asked for. They are super busy, and I don't know if they're just understaffed, but it was quite a wait. I didn't particularly mind, I didn't have anywhere significant to be anyways. I might take a trip down memory lane, and actually order one of my jumbo jacks. But food wise, I can just speak on the tacos and onion rings which were fine.
