I have been a fan of this chain for decades. I love the chicken cheesesteak. I came with my teen daughter around 2:30 PM to give her a "premium sandwich experience," and this was my first time to this location. Everything was first class except for exceotional slow service. We were the only two people in the restaurant and ordered ONE sandwich. I realize they also have a drive thru and online orders to fulfill, but it was nearly 20 minutes. Thatt seems like at least double the time it should take to fulfil the order of your only dining room customers (based on my experience with other Capriotti's.). Service here was great. It was later in the evening, and I was craving a philly cheesesteak. My only regret was not asking for light mayo and mustard. I walked in and placed an order to-go. The two gentleman working were friendly and my daughter asked for their grilled cheese and a sweet treat. The restaurant was quiet, very clean and so was the restroom. 1st off, we have been coming to this restaurant for a number of years. My mother in law brought us here on 1 of our vacations before we retired to the area. The restaurant is always clean and staff are always friendly.. We used a buy 1 get 1 1/2 off coupon. We both ordered the turkey club, small size. Everything on both. The contents of the sandwich were great, but the bread itself was so dense. Very hard to chew. Tomatoes were very lacking. So turned a small into a salad bowl at home basically. Took out all the yumm yumms and ate them with a fork.. Even at buy 1 get 1 1/2 off, it was still almost 20.00 for 2 sandwiches. No sides etc. Think next time I'll go get some deli meats and make a nice deli sandwich for a fraction of the price. It's just getting too expensive to eat out anymore on a fixed income read more

Got in line ordered a large waygu beef sub and a sprite. Sprite was self serve. Waited at a table, that was clean, as they all were! A few minutes later, my sub arrived. It was huge! The wzygu beef is superb.....its not cheap, but in my opion....its worth every penny. I wasnt expecting that big of a sub. I should have ordered a medium size. Im a big guy, and can eat alot, but this sub was big, and delicious! Take it from me, if you like beef, order the waygu sub. You wont regret it. Will I go back, you bet! I've driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop in and give it a try. I ordered the American Wagyu French Dip, and I have to say, it was one of the better French dip sandwiches I've had. The beef was nicely seasoned with a good bit of pepper, which I actually enjoyed. Finally a capriottis that gets my order right! I like a veggie sandwich. No meat. No impossible meat. Just cheese and veggies. Caps used to have a "cheese sub" that was cheese and veggies but took it off the menu. Now, no matter how I order my sandwich it always seems to be made wrong. We decided to get a sandwich at our favorite place. We usually go to the one in Reno, but we went to the one in Carson City. They had a big order 50 sandwiches that day for the fire department which OK that's fine. Well we came in and it was pretty hectic and you know people were waiting in line and waiting for their sandwiches and I have to say that Bree and Zach and their crew really pull together and got everything done in such a really awesome way very professional, and Zach came out and apologized to everybody which I thought was phenomenal. There was a discount applied because you know we were waiting for a while, but overall, the sandwiches are amazing the Bobby is delicious. We recently located to the area and noticed there is a Capriotti's here. We have made it a point to get in here and try it out. We have been to one in Las Vegas and really liked it. So we were eager to see if this was as good. Well today we put that to rest. We came in around 12:30 during the lunch hour and it wasn't too busy. I noticed how clean the place is and how attentive the young man Matthew was. He spoke very well and had a great attitude. I honestly couldn't remember what I had the last time I came into a Capriotti's. But I chose the 8in Classic Italian and my wife ordered the small roast beef sandwich along with chips and a drink. It didn't take very long for our order to come up and we were pleasantly impressed with the quality of our sandwiches. The sandwiches were well put together and tasted great. I ordered my food to be ready at 6:40 p.m. I got there at 6:45 and the guy says "Oh I'm just about to start on your meal." So I am late to work. I ordered the meal with some coleslaw. I first went to Capriotti's in Chicago and had the famous Bobbie which is essentially a turkey dinner in a sandwich. Absolutely fabulous. This time in Carson City, NV I tried their Cheesesteak because who doesn't like a good cheesesteak? It is described as: "Our award winning Cheese Steak includes premium grilled steak, and melted white American cheese, fried onions, hot or sweet peppers". I had the sweet peppers on mine. I felt the sandwich was good but not as good as the Bobbie. I have higher standards for cheesesteak and this one was good but not great like the Bobbie. I want to like this place and am only able to try it on road trips as there are none in the Seattle area where I live. I'll keep getting the Bobbie when I can until I can go more regularly if they ever open up in the Puget Sound area. Thanks for being open during the pandemic guys. read more

I used this location for several catering orders a few weeks ago. Not only were they patient and accommodating when taking my order, the night before I needed it, they made last-minute adjustments for me when I came to pick it up. Matt is the manager now and he really cares about the Customer Service. I had not used this location for several years because the service I received a few years ago was subpar. I'm so glad I gave them another shot because the service was amazing this time. Both the employee that took my order the night before and Matt the manager, went above and beyond. I just got a medium size, $13 Italian classic sandwich from the Capriotti's on Williams St. in Carson City, NV. There was one piece of each meat and cheese next to each other on the bottom layer of the bun. There was 1/2- inch plus of lettuce and onion on top of the meat. The photo of this sandwich on the website shows TWO DISTINCT layers of meat and cheese, one on the bottom of the bun and another complete layer of meat and cheese on top of the lettuce.
