Once again I made the mistake of trying this location to give them another chance but after placing my 12pc order on the app before heading to the restaurant I waited there for 45-minutes before getting angry after watching 2-customers walk in and place an order for buckets and getting them before me as well as numerous cars rolling through the drive up getting orders, there were other customers waiting for their online orders as well. It took 55- minutes to finally get the order only to get home and have ice cold potatoes and gravy and no biscuits at all but they did give me the honey and butter for them!!!!! Do your self a favor and have pizza for dinner because this place should be closed down for good or a real manager be hired to straighten them out, having a bunch of kids who are more interested in goofing around and not paying attention to what they are supposed to be doing is really not acceptable and shows how much the owner and existing management if they have any don't care about customers and who knows what else like employees cleanness. I ordered a $20 meal at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Gardnerville, NV on 9/20 at 4:08PM. I requested a pickup time of 4:30PM. I had an appointment at 4:35PM. When I arrived at 4:29PM, the counter person told me it was going to be 13 more minutes. I told him I could not wait and asked for a refund. He told me I had to go back online to do it. The counter person told me his name was Issac though he was wearing some other name badge. Issac was very snarky and condescending. I asked to speak to the manager. Mgr. Melissa came to the counter and told me they could not do a refund, and I had to go online. I told her this was not right as they inconvenienced me by not having the order ready (they had 22 minutes notice) and now I have to go online and spend more time to get my money back? She laughed ye... laughed! and said yes you do. I left without the order as I could not wait, went to my appointment, and got home at 5:15PM. I immediately went online to request a refund and the webpage said to call them. I called, and talked to two different online people at KFC. They both took the exact same information from me (name, order # phone email etc.), and after 19 minutes on the phone with them, the second KFC phone person-Marie, told me "You are too late to cancel the order and we can not do a refund." This would almost be laughable if not unbelievable. Order not ready... Spend 19 more minutes of your time... No...can't give you a refund! Wow. I've been on this planet a lot of years, and have had a few customer service experiences in my lifetime. Was greeted at the drive thru speaker by a friendly young man. Then, about 1 minute into reading the menu after asking for a minute, an older woman got on the speaker to abruptly, gruffly, and very rudely ask if we "need help finding something on the menu," as if we weren't ordering fast enough for her. There were no cars behind us. If she was genuinely trying to be helpful then she should be more careful about her tone when speaking as she came off very rude and demanding. It was jarring enough that we were tempted to just drive off. The young man completed taking our order and again, he was really kind and polite. The wait time was fine but they gave me a 3 piece meal instead of the 3 piece tenders, fine, that is an honest mistake. I like KFC but this location struggles with getting the food out in a timley manner, getting your order correct, always seem to be running out of something and their housekeeping is marginal. The moment I walked in one of the white young teenage employee was laughing and making funny remarks toward me( knowing that I was Asian). After he took my order he was mocking on my Asian accent. I suggest that anyone ordering from this KFC visually check their order instead of taking it straight home like I did. My order had 2 pieces of chicken, no utensil for eating the mash potatoes, no spread or honey sauce for the biscuit but maybe that is because I never got the biscuit. Chicken is often cooked to the point that white meat is dry and stringy. Pot Pies taste good but twenty minutes later you need to be near a restroom. Chicken must be mishandled.
