Grabbed a family meal on the go when we were up in the Eureka area last week. While I was disappointed that they didn't have the ordering kiosks. Full disclosure, I like riding from them as I get to see the options before I select. When you're doing it at the register, it can sometimes be a challenge to visualize what the team member is articulating. When I ordered, however, the team member was exceptionally helpful and described the different meals perfectly. It made my selection super easy. Then, the food was very fresh. First, I know it's fast food. I never expect five-stars, but it's really refreshing when the food doesn't taste like it's been sitting for a while. The children seemed freshly cooked and the biscuits were like they had just come out of the oven...and it was 8pm when we stopped in. All in all, we received and amazing value for our money and we were very happy customers. We'll stop in there again the next time we are in Eureka. read more

One of the slowest service here in Eureka alongside taco bell. Lying workers, telling me 5 minutes but I waited 25 minutes. Dirty bathroom. Old and cold wedges. Old and dried chicken. If i could give it zero, I would. Last time giving them a penny here. read more

When fresh the KFC french fries are fresh they are some of the best fries in the county. the problem is that they are never fresh. they sit under a heat lamp and become disgusting strips of hardened nasty that even the sea gulls wont eat. I'm so disappointed because it's the only thing I really like on the menu and I go out of my way only to get substandard french fries. like a fool I'll keep trying and I hope that can get it right next time. fingers crossed. read more

Unfortunately, Buyer needs to be aware! This KFC store does not live up to providing what is advertised and posted online. I ordered a 5 piece for two, dark meat which was supposed to be 3 thighs and two legs. Instead, I received 2 thighs (one very small) and 3 legs. The newest additional of "fast food" on fast food row on the south end of town. Its a national chain and new so its crowded as can be, so expect a wait. The lines move quickly all considering the sheer volume of people in the drive through. We navigated the merging traffic to get into "the line" and all in all it wasn't that long to get to our order and on the way - the actual wait time minimal once your order is placed, 7-8 minutes tops. Now the food, regular crispy bucket, the chicken all crispy golden brown and very tender and juicy - maybe the other reviews were first weeks opening jitters? The food was very good and true to other KFCs visited over the years. The biscuits were flaky and fluffy delicious, the mashed spuds and gravy on par for KFC and the cole slaw mayo based and freshly made, perhaps a bit sweet for my liking but still good by standards. This is a decent KFC and not sure 2 Stars is warranted and as such my 4 Stars to offset those a bit. The food is awful. Dry chicken, old chicken, crappy biscuits room temperature coleslaw with wilted brown pieces. Gluey mashed potatoes, or watery potatoes. Old, hard potato wedges or soggy old potato wedges. I'm not even sure the employees are actually trying to get it right. read more

I'm sorry people are having bad experiences. ours was great. I was worried about the crowds, but at noon on a Sunday, I rolled up, and rolled out with my food in just under 10 minutes. Not bad at all. we both ordered the same, the three-piece combo original recipe, with two thighs and a drumstick. . It was a lot of food! The pieces of chicken were very large, and the chicken was delicious, and fall off the bone tender. So good. The meal also came with a biscuit, mashed potatoes and gravy, a large drink, and even a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. We walked away from the lunch table satisfied and stuffed. This location is an awful. I was driving thru town and thought it would be nice to get some comfort food and receive a disappointment the service was the awful waited 20 minutes to place my order at the drive thru and the man on the speaker didn't even know what he was doing. When I finally got to the window he was so high he could barely keep his eyes open. I got my bags of food from a lady that I believed was the manager I pulled out and checked my order which was missing my side and noticed my card had not been returned. When I walked up to the door a sign posted on the door said lobby closed due to lack of employees so had to walk up to the drive up window because I was not waiting another 30 minutes in line The man looked at me and looked at me like he didn't even understand what I explained to him he then turned and gave me my card back. The other employees in the background were arguing and he walked to the food counter slapped and spoon full of coleslaw handed over to me so disrespectful the container had liquid all over it Never even had such a terrible experience at a KFC. I know it's fast food but please hear me out, I ordered a 3 piece crispy chicken. When I got there there's no one in line, but I thought my food was boxed up rather quickly, I remember thinking how did they do that so quickly? Well this was already boxed up, because the food was cold, the chicken was soggy the crispy had left the chicken, the gravy was settling in the mashed potatoes. The chicken was so greasy, yes fried chicken is greasy but imagine cold soggy greasy fried chicken. This can only happen if you pre box fried chicken, it loses all its crispy texture from the steam and gravy thickens when it's been sitting out for a while. Why on earth are you pre boxing meals? Unless you have another explanation why that food was cold. I know how KFC is supposed to taste like this wasn't it, Could not eat it. We were looking forward to trying KFCs Chickien Nuggets. We selected 2 14 piece Nuggets 2 biscuits and gray. Each Nugget package had 10 med sized pieced and 4 the size of my little finger WHAT?? The new KFC Eureka is a pretty good version of the national product. Ordering off the app is easy. The customer service is top notch and the young workers are trying very hard to do a good job. The product has slipped over the years so I can't blame them for that. The lobby is clean and the manager cares about his people. Not bad for a quick dinner or lunch on the road. read more

First I have to say we were the only people at 11 AM so you would think they could get our order right...NOT SO!! We ordered the 20 piece Tender Meal which includes 3 Large sides, 6 biscuits & dipping sauce. So we ordered as our sides, 1 Mashpotatos/gravy & 2 Coleslaw. I've been here twice since they opened and each time they did not disappoint. I refuse to sit in the long lines and have been lucky to sneak in on the short ones. I tried their French fries, which are different than KFCs previous potato wedges, and they exceeded expectations. This KFC serves cold French fries and warm, flat soda with no ice. I went in after complaining about the fries I received in the drive through. The cashier was very polite and went to the back and got me a new side of fries. I felt good. After getting in my truck and leaving I ate a fry only to find they were the exact same fries I complained about. The soda was so flat it's in drinkable. The service is rather weird, can't allow you to view the full menu. It makes ordering rather difficult. The staff that are outside taking your order are very very kind but inexperienced which isn't their fault. A lot of the items on the menu seem to be missing as well. I went this week and asked for popcorn nuggets and they "aren't allowed to sell them". Strange. The chicken tenders are also very small and tough which is unusual as well. I'm disappointed in our new KFC, in the beginning the line was long but that didn't last long, after tasting the food the desires gone. The chicken sandwich is disgusting, it consisted of a bland piece of chicken on a bun and 8 pickles with no Mayo or anything. Honestly not worth the time, as we know the food is overpriced as it is, $7-8 for a 1 piece chicken meal with sides that cost penny on the dollar to produce? Didn't receive any sauces, after asking for them, no utensils, no napkins, all pretty important when you're eating greasy chicken with sides that aren't finger foods. Menu is so small compared to the online menu for the real KFC'S out there not sure why they would build a new KFC with a limited menu. Really bad customer service. Orders always wrong. Or cold or dry. Twice the sauce packets are torn open and spilling everywhere. And the drive thru makes no sense. Some customers can go through normal and some customers are forced to place their order before they can even reach the menu. Then wait until they bring it out to the car. This process takes twice as long while you watch all the people who entered the line behind you get their food and be on their way. This KFC won't last any longer than the last two attempts in Eureka in the past. Go to in n out. Or support a local buissiness. read more
