I was about to head out to the Samoa Dunes and found myself hungry but not wanting to spend a lot of time eating. At the most literal level, this Chipotle did what it had to do - I lasted several hours afterwards without wanting to eat, didn't get sick, and didn't get jumped in the parking lot. I never make reviews but the last few times I've eaten here have been really disappointing... I'm not sure if there's a new policy, but the servings have seemed to change and we hardly ever get a full bowl, and my daughters quesadilla barely had any cheese in it (it was cheese only). This is absolutely the WORST Chipotle I've ever been to. The manager here must be asleep at the wheel. It's a normal thing here to be told "we are out of chicken and steak." Even at 4pm, close to dinner, they're out of chicken and steak? Or at lunch time? How and why do you guys run out of MEAT several times a week? It's a joke. What else is wrong with this location? For starters they are so cheap with the servings it's almost not even worth going here. I get more meat and more guacamole at other locations. Here they barely give me anything and I get back attitude if I question my half empty bowl or the fact that they're now giving us a quarter of the quac they used to give us. And this is supposed to be good for your business? No it's not. Everything thing here sucks. In comparison I go to the new Chipotle in Crescent City and the manager there is a treasure. He keeps the food stocked and fresh and treats us right. They've NEVER been out of MEAT in Crescent City. I wanted to come on here and say what an awful experience that my fiance and I had today. It's not the food that was consistent, It was the service, whoever was working the line at 1:00 p.m. today had such a foul attitude when we asked for shredded lettuce they rolled their eyes. It was so obvious that they were frustrated, I even verbally said oh no. Afterwards my fiance asked what the difference was between the honey Chipotle chicken and the regular chicken which to me is obvious but he asked anyways just to get the person's suggestion I guess, and the person didn't hear them so they just threw on the honey chicken also. That person then walked over to start doing what I would assume to be DoorDash orders or drive-thru orders and in the meantime another person came over to finish us out. The person who finished us out asked the other person what kind of bowl my fiance had and the other person was really annoyed and said they originally had double meat and then asked for another protein to which I objected and said no you didn't listen and you incorrectly put more protein on it. The person who now had taken over through away the food and made a new bowl which is fine. The attitude was obviously there. At the end we asked for their names and they didn't want to give out their " personal information ". I wouldn't want to be held accountable either, if I knew my attitude sucked. read more

What happened here? I am a long time Chipotle customer and loved the ingredient quality, portion size and price. The last two visits here I received indifferent service (if you don't want to be here; go home). Then to top it off (pun intended), the ingredient portions seem to have been cut in half. Seriously? Now I need a microscope to see my toppings? Then, when I get to the checkout, my order (for a bowl, not a burrito) is over $22! I was waiting in line for 15 minutes while one young kid made everyone's orders and the online orders while the manager and "apprentice" named syd (I knew it was them because there buisness cards were at the checkout) stood in the kitchen and talked badly about other employees. When he asked one of them for more sour cream they/them reluctantly got some. Then when I ordered I went out side and sat in my car to eat, and watched the manager and syd get into a mini cooper and proceed to roll a blunt right outside of the restaurant. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and had fun small talk about local events happening they recently attended. Brandon has the best customer service and really made us feel welcome and appreciated. The food was really fresh and our kiddo loved the build your own taco platter. Really poor service. Was ignored for several minutes then the worker on the line said she had to fill a Togo order first. Multiple other workers standing around doing nothing. The pierced up manager was clearly angered and ranting about personal issues with the whole staff all of which obviously do not care about the customer experience. I would estimate the number of chipotles I have been to be in the 40s. This location consistently only has 1 person working the line while handling cashier. They often run out of guacamole too. Not sure if they fired this guy, if they haven't they should, but he makes the experience so weird, I remember one time I went to pay and he was bending down over the counter bouncing up and down staring at me with a horror movie look. Besides that, they are so stingy here, they act like the food is coming out of their paycheck. When you select your meat they always shake the spoon so much to get rid of that "extra meat", it's like they give you a toddler portion. Ready to pick up at 5:30... 15 minutes away. Okay. No problem. 5:30... drove around to the pickup window. Gave her my name and they couldnt find my order. Under Amber or Kids Name... not sure. Couldnt find either. Asked if I called it in. Nope... smart phone action. She asked if she could see the order, so I held my phone out for her to read it. SHE GRABBED MY PHONE AND STARTED TOUCHING IT AND SHIT. NO gloves... NO mask. *inhale... exhale* She finally handed me my phone and I immediately wiped it down with the wipes I keep in the car... next to the spray bottle of commerical sanitizer. She comes back and ask me if it could be under April Reynolds. What? No... Amber. She looks over and hands me my food. That was shitty enough... but the food sucks. I remember having it YEARS ago and I wasnt impressed, but damn... I must have blocked some shit out. The kid likes her burrito... but she's never met one she didn't like. I recently decided to download the Chipotle app to my phone for my most recent dinner order. It was a breeze! I loved being able to name (specify) who each item was for, which makes it very easy to order a repeat item. When trying to be health conscious, Chipotle's website is very user friendly when it comes to calculating nutrition and counting calories. My favorite items to order are the steak bowls, the salad with steak, and the steak tacos. The meat and salsas are bursting with flavor and I love the extra heat the salsas bring. Everything always tastes and looks fresh to me. My most recent order was placed about 10 minutes before picking it up from the "Chipotlane" and our items were ready within a couple minutes of pulling up. Been to this chipotle several times and I have enjoyed it! However the last time I came in I got my normal bowl with half and half rice, carnitas, guac, queso, and cheese. The lady didn't fill it up all they way, and when I asked NICELY if she would give another portion to fill up the bowl all the way I got so much attitude. Not to mention when I got to the car to eat my food it was COLD..
