I like KFC, but this store is useless, they never have chicken! and they never get the sides right!! Today they took my order for an 8 piece crispy bucket + sides, swiped my card, then said it would be 15 minutes for regular, 20+ for the crispy! 25 minutes later they gave me just the bucket, no sides and no lid. I had to ask for the sides and remind them of my order, he went off and got my sides. Can I have a lid? No lids, sorry the chicken you waited so long for is going to be cold by the time you get home... and predictably I guess, got home to find he had managed to given me the WRONG SIDES!!! This review is extremely hard to write. I've grown up eating KFC- let's just say... for many MANY decades , and this has to be the worst KFC I have ever had. The children could hardly eat the nuggets they were so over cooked, the fries were over cooked as well. The pieces of chicken we had well.... You could guess how those wet, dry and no flavor at all. This KFC location closed back in May 2024. It was in a bad and hard to get to location and the manager was horrible. They had very poor customer service and were probably losing money. They never even bothered to bring their promotion signs inside the building before closing it either and they are still sitting outside. read more

I ordered in the App this morning to be ready by 5:00pm so that I could pick it up when I got off work, got there and 5:15 expecting to just run in and grab it since it was already payed for nope hasn't even been started. First the manager says that they just sold the last pot pie which was a part of my order, I then asked for a refund and he said no because I ordered in the App ummm excuse me. The food tasted good. I got a spicy famous bowl fill up... But they didn't let me substitute the cookie for a biscuit like other stores have, they didn't give me a fork to eat my food with, and they forgot my cookie.... And also they didn't close the bowl all the way, so all of the oil from inside of the bowl leaked out onto my seat and my work shirt that was sitting on the seat... Very disappointing! My 7 year old daughter usually loves KFC, but over the course of months a three piece tender combo went from $9 to $12 and the quality went way down! What the heck! For jacking prices of a fast food restaurant by $3 in a couple months I certainly wouldn't expect to get three chicken tenders that are like rubber from sitting under the heating lamp all day and a tiny amount of fries. The chicken was much darker than expected. The flavor was off and my coworker related that the oil used to cook the chicken was old, thus tainting the normal great flavor. Very bad service. I was told at time of payment they we behind on one part of my order and it would take 5 mins and would I wait. I said yes (my mistake). Since I was in drive thru they said I should drive to front of store and wait and they would bring my order out to me. I said " you will not forget me right?, they said no .... (30 mins later which no one came bringing my order) I went back through the drive through requesting a refund. They did not even ask circumstances and gave me credit back on CC. We've been stopping at this KFC for YEARS to get a quick chicken meal on a busy night. Since we are both over 72, we ask for and receive the "senior discount". Someone needs to tell the current staff that seniors DO get a discount on the "$20 Fill Up" meal. We had to argue with the server, who went into a long dissertation about how you can't get a second discount, etc., etc., etc. We did get the discount ... finally. But why should we have to go through this embarrassment to get it? On another note, the last time we got our chicken dinner, the pieces were totally unrecognizable. Is this a way to cut down on the amount of chicken customers receive in their order? Drumsticks, thighs, wings, breast, and then some miscellaneous "parts" is what we got before. On August 28, 2018 at around 2:15 pm I was just a stressed out traveler driving thru Cameron Park when one of my older dogs started barking and having a fit. I pulled off the freeway and into KFC parking lot to see what was the matter with her and locked myself out of my running car. I had my three dogs, my daughters dog and my sons new puppy inside the car. To make matters worse I'm on crutches and only pulled out one crutch, no purse /with keys and no cell phone. I went into KFC totally freaked out and they called Highway. patrol for me, gave me cold drink and made sure I could sit down and keep an eye on my car. AAA got there quickly and opened my car thanks to the awesome manager and young girl who placed the call to Highway Patrol on her cell phone for me. Before I left I went back into the KFC and thanked the manager again for all their help and he handed me a bag with a cookie inside. Let me start off by stating I usually only leave reviews for those places that really stand out for one reason or another. This is a case of preventing others from suffering through what we did. Fast food is an exaggeration for this place. Not only was the order wrong but the food was absolutely horrible. The chicken tenders were not just soft and soggy they were literally sitting in a puddle of grease. The flavor was just shy of something you would think you pulled out of the trash. The worst part of all this was we waited extra at the window while the made "fresh" tenders. I couldn't even begin to imagine how bad it would have been otherwise. To top it all off.
