    Two entree Plate

We always go here no issues, we always receive full containers with no issues. New tall skinny white dude gives half the portions

I ordered a family-style meal of 5 items. One of them being the walnut shrimp. When we opened this box the box was only half to 2/3 full. The remaining boxed items were full. After we ate, I called the Folsom store and asked to talk to the manager. I told them about the undersized order and he said that was their practice for the walnut shrimp. I told him that we paid a premium and when we go into the store and they serve us in the store they give us a full scope for all the items we purchase including the premium items. I asked for compensation and he said no. This is not the way to run a business. If I pay for a full box I expect a full box of product. I will ask for a refund against my AMEX card if I do not hear back from management.

    New Bowl Size

This is Panda Express's new bowl size!! Understand that this is a direct result of governor Newsom's hike and employment wages..... but I'm gonna starve and go broke spending $13 on this bowl with a bottle of water. Guess I'll be making my own chicken and rice at home.

It really bothers me when the line is out the door but then you handle 3 online orders between each person.

The food quality today was good but the service was slow. Tough business model however I continue to hold out hope for this place.

We arrived a few minutes after 3 pm, when the restaurant opens for dinner. As you can imagine, we were a large group who were all hungry and ready to eat. We decided to go with the family dinner (special B) option that gives you the choice to select about a dozen menu items to share family style. This option also comes with soup, pork fried rice, egg rolls and fried shrimp for $18.50 a person. The ambience was quiet and similar to many other Chinese restaurants. They have booths and tables for smaller parties and larger rounded tables with a Lazy Susan for larger groups. The service was great. I was surprised how quickly all of the food came out. One plate after another, and suddenly the table was packed with hot food ready to eat. Everyone working was friendly and attentive, filling our cups with water, providing extra napkins, and checking on us frequently if we needed anything else. Oh, and the food was so good. I particularly loved the fried rice, broccoli beef, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef. To be honest, all of the food was delicious, but those stood out to me from the other plates we ordered. There was so much food that we couldn't eat everything, so we had plenty of takeout boxes to take food home. For the price of the family dinner options, you can't go wrong with a great price and the amount of food you get. It's very much worth it. If you are with a large group of friends and find yourself in Cameron Park, I highly recommend coming to China City to eat. You won't be disappointed. It's a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall off of Highway 50.

It turns out they were all waiting (not long) for takeout orders so we had the place to ourselves. We were warmly welcomed and since we had already checked out the menu and what's good in advance on Yelp we ordered the Pork and Chive Dumplings and the Chicken, Shrimp Potstickers and hot teas. Thanks to a mirror on the counter I had a good view of the bustling activity in the kitchen. Soon we had our piping hot food and it was delicious. We planned to eat half and take the rest home but it was so good we had nothing left. Service was great - we were asked several times how we liked our order and if we needed anything. The space is spare but very clean and we had no trouble parking. We will be back!

It would be much better if they offered them in smaller quantities, maybe 3 or 5, so we could share some different types instead of having to have so much leftover. I did like the sauce, it had a nice kick. Where the order disappointed was the other items. We got sesame beef, sesame chicken, and house fried rice. The fried rice had little flavor. The beef was tough and the chicken was basically inedible. It had so much breading it was soft on the outside. And the sauce didn't have a sesame flavor, more like a sweet and sour. The sesame beef sauce was totally different. Very disappointing for a neighborhood favorite.

Listen, on a real bad day, I'll pour some bourbon neat. But on a regular bad day? Banana cream pie from Fats will have me forgetting my problems real quick. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted, two slices of Banana Cream Pie. No distractions. No new friends. No plot twists. I couldn't wait to get home to have me some silky banana cream pie (lol). Then here comes the young man at the front, asking if I've tried their strawberry pie. Sir... stay focused. I said no, asked if he tried it, and if it was actually worth betraying my original order. He said he liked it. That slice of strawberry pie made it into my order. Y'all, he didn't lie. That Strawberry Cream Pie? A solid 9/10. Had me questioning my loyalty for a second. Banana cream pie, never disappoints. Will always be my favorite. Now, did I need three slices of pie? Absolutely not. Did I eat like I lost custody of self-control? Yes. Will I be back to do it again? I'll always be a repeat offender. lol

The service was impeccable from the moment that we walked in. That includes being greeted right away. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive and on top of the details.
