I am so grateful to have panda express right next to my workplace! They have really great deals and coupons and prices along with the food just being fresh and amazing. I had the teriyaki chicken with chow mein, which is delicious and I got a free side and I chose the orange chicken, which was also delicious as well. I will definitely be returning at least once or twice a week. The service is impeccable. The cashier was super amazing and sweet and kind. And the restaurant is really well decorated very clean and the restrooms are very nice and large and very clean. Overall, I give this place five stars and I definitely totally recommend. read more

I just love this area and wish I lived here. We stopped in and the staff was really nice. They let me try a couple things before. I decided what I was gonna go with. The food portions are good. The prices are great. It's really huge inside more than you would think from the outside and lots of areas to choose from to sit down and great windows to have a view of outside I believe they have an outside patio area. Bumping up the rating. This Panda Express PE in El Dorado Hills Town Center hits all the basic marks of a typical PE. The food tastes like a typical PE. I like their food. It is pretty darn tasty, and they do not use the chemical flavor enhancer MSG and HFCS in their food. That is a big plus with me. This location does not have a drive thru. Yup, you gotta park and walk in. There are two entrances, one on Post Street and the other to the back parking lot. They are good at keeping the entrees full. They consistently keep making fresh entrees when they run low. My faves are the sesame chicken and brocilli beef. The sesame chicken has crisp puffy coating, moist chicken in a sweet sauce. The beef is tender and the brocilli is wok cooked to still have a soft bite, perfect. And it is totally worth mentioning again, they cook without MSG and HCFS. Anyways, the dining room at times can be a mess which is annoying especially when trying to find a clean table. Due to being in the EDH Town Center shopping center, there is alot of customer traffic. I have seen staff clean but also seen customers needlessly tear it up. Plus the various staff, over the years, have been patient and courteous even when customers were not. read more

We had our high school baseball team dinner at the restaurant. The manager, Karen, was exceptionally helpful and amazing. We were able to order off the catering menu and have our whole team come and eat in the restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection, everything was on time, and everyone was very helpful and pleasant. The food was also delicious! They were gracious and appreciative of our business and went above and beyond to make our team dinner special. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Great value and plentiful amount of food. We asked a server who had eggs and her only response was "omg," super rude, 100% of the time he gave us dirty looks not caring about anything, and the situation was extremely uncomfortable. She was incredibly rude. I would never come back. If you don't want to be treated badly, don't come. What can I say here we go again I don't know why I come back to this place, but I decided to order once more. What a mistake I was missing an entrée missing sauces and the proportion of food was so small. It was all rice and chow mein just a few bites of each, so I decided to call complaints since I didn't receive one entrée and was not happy at all with the quality of my food so I asked for a refund and the girl that helped me must've been stoned out of her mind or just woke up. I don't know, but she made the food and insisted that my entrée was in there and repeatedly argued with me that the portions were correct. I ordered a family-style meal of 5 items. One of them being the walnut shrimp. When we opened this box the box was only half to 2/3 full. The remaining boxed items were full. After we ate, I called the Folsom store and asked to talk to the manager. I told them about the undersized order and he said that was their practice for the walnut shrimp. I told him that we paid a premium and when we go into the store and they serve us in the store they give us a full scope for all the items we purchase including the premium items. I asked for compensation and he said no. This is not the way to run a business. If I pay for a full box I expect a full box of product. Lazy staff, almost all tables are dirty with food, utensils are empty, saw kitchen staff scratch himself and then cook with same gloves Food quality is terrible. Kung Pao Chicken was actually Kung Pao Zucchini with more veggies than meat. Fried rice was dry & grainy. I wonder how this business is even attracting customers. Second time I've come here for lunch first time was at 12:45 PM today at 11:30 10 people in front of me waited in line for 15 minutes and still there were 5 to 6 people in front of me. One star because the food is what I would expect at any Panda Express. I enjoy their honey walnut and chili crisp shrimp. The inside of the store at quick glance is nicer looking (more new and modern) than some other locations - this does not necessarily mean it's cleaner though. I've been here twice with my husband and baby because we had a gift card. The first visit wasn't terrible but the tables were dirty and during our entire stay there, not one employee went around to check or clean any of the tables. Our second visit this past weekend was terrible. First of all, it was pretty empty in there but 50% of the tables were super dirty and none of the employees seemed to pay attention or try to clean them. The thing that made this visit even worse was our interaction with one of the employees. A middle to older aged lady behind the counter grumpily greeted us. We said we were going to order the bigger plate and she asked us if we would like chow mein or fried rice. Before we even answered "chow mein", she had scooped fried rice into our container. She then had to dump the rice back out and fill it with our requested chow mein. She very quickly gave us small scoops of the rest of our food m, not once looking at us or smiling, and passed us into the girl at the cashier who was actually nice. After we paid for our food we realized we only had $1 left on the giftcard which can't buy anything on the menu so we asked to redeem that amount back in cash. The young lady then asked the older lady for help with it. That same older lady who seemed to be in a bad mood from the start, made a big deal about being unable to do that because the machine won't do that. My husband mentioned that per law (CA Civil Code 1749.5 b) we are allowed to redeem a giftcard for cash if it's less than $10 and the lady continued to argue that, that was in fact not true and their register wouldn't allow it anyway. Frustrated, we gave up and just passed the one dollar gift card to the next people in line. read more

It is one of the few Pandas in the area that offer Eggplant & Tofu, which is very important to one of my vegetarian family members. Really nice and modern Panda Express located in a new center. Stopped by on my way home from Tahoe. Had the bowl with half fried rice half veggies and orange chicken with a side of chicken egg rolls. Everything was perfect except I felt like the main dish the orange chicken was like the crunchiest orange chicken I've ever had in my life from PAnda. It almost was hard to bite into, as if they had fried it too long. If it had been a tad softer I think that would have been more similar to other orange chicken experiences I've had. This review is for the manager (a small older lady). She is very unprofessional and oddly stingy when it comes to portioning out the food. She needs to use "please" and "thank you", and not make things so uncomfortable by rushing the customers to make their selections. Most importantly, she needs to STOP COUNTING PIECES AND TAKING FOOD OUT OF THE CONTAINERS as she is filling them. I ordered 2 plates online for pickup.The app wouldn't allow me to pay with my award,firecracker shrimp, in my cart. So, I deleted it and paid for the 2 plates. When picking up my order the Mgr was shown the award and wouldn't honor it. We explained that it wouldn't work online. She stated it only works for walk ins, hello we walked in. I showed her the terms and conditions, it was for online orders as well. She then stated she needed the code. I showed her the QR code, she said it wasn't working on her computer. This mgr didn't want to give the reward. What's the purpose of the Panda Express App and the rewards offered for frequent purchases if you can't utilize them. We have not been to this Panda in a long time, due to poor service and portion sizes, but decided to give it a another try, since it's so close to home. The prices have gone up again, which I know everyone has, however the portions have gone down to where we left hungry. The green bean chicken was all green beans, and tasted terrible. The worst part was that I tried to use my Panda app for a small monthly reward, and the short Asian woman in the black shirt argued with me, one of the young kids actually came over and told her she was wrong and corrected her error. This woman, who appears to be the manager is always disagreeable, and makes things difficult. Why has Panda not put her through some better training, or done something about her? read more

If your looking for anything fresh that resembles Chinese food...this is not your place. Normally we love Panda Express for what they are. Fast food Americanized Chinese food. Virtually nothing on the menu is real Chinese food but it taste great. We have always been fans of the concept and food. The new EDH location is clean and has a great location. I visited at 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening. They close at 9:30pm so you would think that they have food ready. As I ordered I noticed that 50% of their food options were empty. If you wanted any combo of dishes you would have to wait at least 10-20 minutes for them to make a new batch. Now keep in mind there is a line of people coming in and they have zero food to fill orders. They had plenty of employees working but seems to be concerned with having to cook food. The food that they did have looked dried up and seemed to be sitting there for hours. The fried rice I got with my order was so hard I couldn't eat it. I was worried it would crack my teeth. While the seating area is very clean, it's hard to want to come back if all you have available for dinner is old food or no food selection. read more

Super bad service. We have been there 3 times now. Visit 1 was good. Visit 2 the stupid counter girl filled my to go container with the 3 selections and then decided to transfer everything to another container and jumbled everything into a Panda Express surprise. Today 4/27/23 we arrived @ 10:00 am waited to 10:08 to enter, the posted hours was 10:00, as we attempted to open the doors at various entrances all doors were locked. So we proceeded to the front door and the same, the tattooed gal who heard our attempts to enter the locked doors she then unlocked the front door and beyond and she never acknowledged us standing waiting to come in and eat. We walked in just to find the only food available was the fried rice & chow mein. Nothing else. No acknowledgment of even stepping foot into this place. Not sure if they deserve another try.
