So... I've welcomed a new family member into my life and named her Pearl. She's a beautiful Kia and the process of getting her went smoothly with no hitches or pressure. Our salesman was Jordan K and I highly recommend him. Great guy to work with.

I usually leave reviews to share my experiences, and unfortunately, this one is not positive. The story continues to unfold. I purchased two contracts on 11/09/2023 for my 2020 Kia Optima at Ken Garff Kia Bell Road: 1. AppearanceShield Paint Protection Contract ($795) This was sold to me as valid coverage for a new vehicle, but according to the provider's own eligibility requirements, coverage was already expired at the time of sale. This voided the contract from day one. 2. Maintenance Advantage 3 Services Synthetic Contract ($149.95) This contract is cancellable per its terms, and I have formally requested a refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one has helped me. The total refund I am requesting is $944.95. The general manager, Carlos Aguirre, has been out on medical leave, but no one else in management has stepped up to resolve these issues. I've been left completely in the dark. If nothing is done soon, I will be escalating this through their corporate legal team, the BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General Consumer Protection division. I expected honesty and accountability when buying from a dealership like Ken Garff Kia, but sadly, that has not been my experience.

4Runner

The sales rep did well getting us into a used 4Runner from out of state but we had to change all four corners of the brake system (rotors, brakes, and the emergency brake system and cable) as soon we got back to New Mexico. It was costly over $2K. I should have drove it on the highway during the test drive and I would have noticed the rotors were warped when braking from high speeds but did not notice it until after I bought it. If this dealership cares at all they should pay at least half of the repair cost we had to shell out because that is not good practice selling a vehicle that needs brakes and rotors right off the bat. Try to take care of the customer and don't cheap out on those things. If you're buying from them, maybe get a good shop to check it out before purchasing a used vehicle.

Dishonest dealer! I saw a car listed on carfax listed by Ken Garff Kia. I made a call, a sales guy, Wili quickly answered my call, told me that the car is being prepped, it was 16.5K. (it was listed as 16.9K online). I told him to shoot me the best out of door pricing...he came back and told me that they couldn't sell me the car, as someone made a mistake. I asked to speak to his manager, he told me that the manager was busy at the moment and for sure, he would return my call. Guess what? no calls, no response. Hey, you are a car dealer. List your car, and people browse and buy. If you cannot honor your pricing or even have the courtesy to return an inquiry call, then you are no diff than a street corner used car lot. Don't do business with them, no Wili, no Kia Bell Road. What a disappointment, they gave car sales professionals a bad name. Don't do business with them. I hope you guys will always be missing your bonus targets and be cheated by your buyers. Enjoy!

My Desert Financial Credit Union Nightmare My wife died on…read moreOctober 25th, I lost my job a week later, and I have a daughter on disability. She had accounts that did not have my name on them. I'll skip to the end. After multiple attempts, each time receiving a different answer and incurring legal fees, it came down to bringing my daughter to the bank to cash in an IRA that was less than $1000.00. They gave us a check. For SSI Reasons, she has a cap on how much money she can have in the account, and it was already over the cap. I took her across the lobby to cash the IRA check, and they refused to cash it. On the good side, I was able to buy my wife her headstone. The final problem was my daughter's account that holds SSI money. I had to go to the SSI office to get a letter stating that I'm the party responsible. I returned the letter and tried to have the account changed so I could gain access. They told me that I had to wait until they heard from SSI. I called SSI, and they said that any existing money was between D.F. and me. I checked the account online; my name was on it. I went to the credit union, and they told me I still didn't have access. I had to beg her for her back rent money. Too: Desert Financial Credit Union, you win. Keep the money January 29th, I'm going back to SSI and having the deposit moved to another Credit Union I can trust. At least you won't get anymore. I'm selling my house and will cover expenses until she gets caught up. If Desert Financial says, "I'm making this up," they have a record of each visit and can publish it. To Desert Financial If you want to sue me? Save your legal fees, I'm protected by poverty

I am requesting my family to also cut ties with this fraud of a bank. They are rude and disrespectful. I don't recommend using them.

He is gone now along with the customer service. Being retired, I was traveling and had not looked at this seldom used account for a while. When I looked, I realized I had made a simple math error which caused the account to be overdrawn. I was really upset when I noticed what I had done, and on top of that, I was dinged with $130.00 in overdraft fees. Since I had NEVER had a single overdraft in 10 years, I thought they would surely be willing to wave these ridiculous fees. I called the bank to express my concerns and was told the manager would call me back shortly. After waiting 4 days for a response, I spoke to Ann Marie. In a cheery voice she told me NOPE! It appears that the once good customer service has been replaced with plastic corporate types, with the attitude of "what can we get out of our customers". Since loyalty obviously means nothing to them, I am moving my accounts to a Credit Union where I will actually find quality customer service.
