It's a used car for 16,500 we were interested in buying, then they added about 2,000 in extras that were in the car that we did not ask for. As soon as we said no they removed the extra charge. After the car is sold, they don't care about you. Called salesman told him there was no tools to change a tire. He said he would ask manager if used cars., 4 days later, no call. I purchased two contracts on 11/09/2023 for my 2020 Kia Optima at Ken Garff Kia Bell Road: 1. AppearanceShield Paint Protection Contract ($795) This was sold to me as valid coverage for a new vehicle, but according to the provider's own eligibility requirements, coverage was already expired at the time of sale. This voided the contract from day one. 2. Maintenance Advantage 3 Services Synthetic Contract ($149.95) This contract is cancellable per its terms, and I have formally requested a refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one has helped me. The total refund I am requesting is $944.95. The general manager, Carlos Aguirre, has been out on medical leave, but no one else in management has stepped up to resolve these issues. I've been left completely in the dark. If nothing is done soon, I will be escalating this through their corporate legal team, the BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General Consumer Protection division. The sales rep did well getting us into a used 4Runner from out of state but we had to change all four corners of the brake system (rotors, brakes, and the emergency brake system and cable) as soon we got back to New Mexico. It was costly over $2K. I should have drove it on the highway during the test drive and I would have noticed the rotors were warped when braking from high speeds but did not notice it until after I bought it. If this dealership cares at all they should pay at least half of the repair cost we had to shell out because that is not good practice selling a vehicle that needs brakes and rotors right off the bat. Try to take care of the customer and don't cheap out on those things. If you're buying from them, maybe get a good shop to check it out before purchasing a used vehicle. read more

We were in the market for a new car after a long time of being out of the new car market game. We were exploring all our options for mid sized SUVs and came to Ken Garff Kia to look at the Sportage, Sorento and Telluride. This dealership just recently opened or was remodeled at this location and it was really nice inside and out. They had a well stocked inventory of every model we wanted to see. Soda, water, ice, and coffee dispensers and snacks were in the waiting area. It's the little things but it's always a good sign when it doesn't feel like you're being starved and dehydrated into submission at the dealer. The manager came out and greeted us as well, really friendly. We were greeted by Chris Gordon and he was so great to work with. He was incredibly knowledgeable and really listened to us. He was engaging and helpful. He even braved the rainy roads of Phoenix with us on the test drive. He didn't pressure us into a model that wouldn't work for our family or spam us with calls or texts in the days following our visit. I wish we had encountered more salesmen like Chris in this car buying process. While ultimately we didn't end up buying a Kia this time around, we will definitely refer others here and are likely to return when we are in the market again very soon. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. I have a 2 year old Niro and I've had to have 2 costly wire repairs done because they of mice. Buyer beware, rodents love the plant based wire coving. My husband's Nisan frontier hadn't had an issue and we've had it for 6 years at the same rural home. We do all the things to my car, peppermint, moth balls, strobe lights, but nothing has helped. Anyway, before the second repair was started last month, I asked to have the wires wrapped in something else. The service adviser agreed to it. Couple of days later, I get the text that the repair was done and I ask about the wrap and was told that they did not do it because they were out of the tape. Not one person called me to convey that info to me before the repair was done. I would have waited, or gone somewhere else. When picking up my car and giving them another $1000.00, I expressed my disappointment and no one even cared. So, I left a bad review when I got the text asking how my service was. A couple of days later I received a call from the service manager on the Friday before the Labor Day holiday. He said he'd call me back with a solution early the next week. Meanwhile, I received a text from Kia asking how my follow up went. I waited until Friday that week with no response. I replied to the text that I wasn't satisfied with my lack of follow up. Here we go, another week later and still no follow up. I am retiring in a few years, and planed on a new Kia in a couple of years as my last car. Dishonest dealer! I saw a car listed on carfax listed by Ken Garff Kia. I made a call, a sales guy, Wili quickly answered my call, told me that the car is being prepped, it was 16.5K. (it was listed as 16.9K online). I told him to shoot me the best out of door pricing...he came back and told me that they couldn't sell me the car, as someone made a mistake. I asked to speak to his manager, he told me that the manager was busy at the moment and for sure, he would return my call. Guess what? no calls, no response. Hey, you are a car dealer. List your car, and people browse and buy. If you cannot honor your pricing or even have the courtesy to return an inquiry call, then you are no diff than a street corner used car lot. Don't do business with them, no Wili, no Kia Bell Road. What a disappointment, they gave car sales professionals a bad name. Don't do business with them. Absolutely horrible! Telling us we need to replace a 700$ part that's "not damaged". Then finding out myself the part is indeed damaged and leaking gas when we picked up the car! I called them back because I believe they damaged the part during removal, they refused to do anything and claim no responsibility. My 3 year olds car seat sits right above that leaking fuel pump you told me was in perfect working condition. Emitting gas fumes into the cab of the vehicle! My brother got a car from Riley. it was the smoothest process. We were blow away with how easy he made it, I bought a car less than 2 weeks after with Riley. I rushed to get my car just so we can make sure it was done by end of month to help Riley out. As time went on, my brother had been reaching out to get his rim replaced because it came damaged (before he bought it). it has been 3 months and they still haven't fixed it. We have reached out multiple times to Riley And the dealership in general and no one will help, they pass you around and no one can seem to figure it out. We had another credit union all lined up with a rate 2% less than his. After promising to get that same rate by the close of business, we said ok. It never happened. Our monthly payment is $110 more per month because of it. They never said why it happened or even that it did happen. Just left us holding the bag. Sales people are great good to work with. Got a new car from them and very happy. Service not so much. My service advisor and his band of money making mechanics told me we needed new air filter, tires and most importantly a alignment. Took it too AAA for the alignment they were $50.00 cheaper than Kia and honest all the alignment is in factory specs. Will never set foot on the site again for the service (client robbing) department. Changed the air filter and cabin filter myself and neither needed it, The tires have less that 15,000 miles on them and even Discount Tire said they were good to go, which is rare for Discount Tire. So in closing buy the car there and then take it to Camelback KIa (good hones service advisor there) for all warranty work and mechanic work and AAA for the oil changes much better deal there anyway and by the way honest. read more

I can't even with this service I received. First time here, I made a service oil change apt for 7am. I'm one of the first ones there at 655am, spoke with a service agent right at 7am, I told him, I have to be out of there by 830am latest and to not bother with car wash or anything thing else, just oil change! He comes to check on my at 810 to say the car won't be ready till 9am! I was very upset and wondered if he even listened to when I said I can't stay long. Long story shorty car wash done at about 835am. Just an oil change was done, I didn't even get an inspection, car wash, just the oil in 1.5 hrs! Why are they called express? It should be 1 hr not 1.5 hr and just get the oil done, nothing else. I even asked him that it should only take an hour per their website as being express and he says "this isn't jiffy lube" excuse me, I've never been to jiffy lube in my life. I took my 2016 Kia Soul here for a security software install upgrade. Making the appointment was easy, I just called them and they told me the available times to come in. They quoted me a 3 hour job time but it lasted just a little over 2 hours. I waited in the customer lobby that was very clean, there was a free Starbucks dispenser for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. There was a popcorn machine for free popcorn. There were restrooms available which I didn't need but I assume they must be clean. The whole place was showroom clean. The service agent that helped me was very professional and let me know via text when my car was ready. I recommend this place and I'll probably come here when it's time for me to get another vehicle. I am loyal to the Kia brand. I received a print out of the work that was done and also the recommendations to keep my Kia running smoothly. Great experience, give these guys a try. read more

We had communicated over email with Angel Delgado regarding a deal on a EV9. Upon arriving at the dealership to close the deal, we wasted nearly two hours test driving and reviewing the tech capabilities of the car. Once we went to close the deal the finance manager wouldn't accept the offer we had in writing from Angel. He called Angel in front of us, asked him leading questions, and ultimately refused to honor the deal that Angel had negotiated with us. It was a classic "bait and switch" which is deceitful, immoral and illegal in Arizona. If Angel was offering a deal he shouldn't have, the right thing would have been to honor the price. Instead he lost the sale and we left feeling extremely dismayed at the behavior of the staff at this location. The Garff name should be embarrassed to have these people representing their brand in such a disgusting way. I'd never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

On January 20, 2025, I brought my 2020 Kia Telluride to your dealership due to a check engine light, which was displaying code P000B00. On January 21, I was informed that my vehicle was ready. When I picked it up, the service advisor stated that the issue was "just a sensor" and assured me that if the check engine light returned, I could bring the vehicle back. Immediately upon leaving the dealership, the check engine light came back on. I turned around and returned the vehicle for further inspection. Over the next two and a half weeks, I received no proactive updates and had to repeatedly reach out for information. On February 6, I was finally told my vehicle was ready. When I inquired about the issue, the advisor vaguely stated, "It's all on this paper, it's a bunch of gibberish to me," which is an unprofessional and concerning response from a dealership representative. Additionally, I was informed that my tires had been cleaned--yet the rest of the vehicle was still dirty, which seemed unusual. Nonetheless, I was relieved to have my car back. Upon approaching my vehicle, before even getting inside, my girlfriend and I noticed a strong syrup-like smell coming from it. Assuming it was related to the tire cleaning, we initially dismissed it. However, after arriving home, the odor intensified, and I noticed fluid leaking beneath the vehicle. Over the following days, the smell worsened, and more fluid accumulated on my driveway. On February 10, I returned to the dealership to address the issue. The service advisor acknowledged the odor and, since my vehicle had just been serviced, agreed to inspect it. After spending four hours at the dealership with my two children, I was informed by the advisor that the foreman found no coolant leak and that the smell was due to residual coolant burning off. I expressed my concerns, explaining that I had visible coolant leaking onto my driveway and an almost empty reservoir. Despite this, the advisor dismissed my concerns, stating he trusted his foreman's assessment. My vehicles engine bay was pressure washed, and I was advised to return if the smell persisted. In the days following, I continued monitoring the situation. Each time I drove my vehicle, more coolant accumulated in my driveway, and the reservoir continued to empty. Frustrated, I sought a second opinion from an independent mechanic on February 21. After a thorough inspection, he confirmed that my vehicle was indeed leaking coolant due to a broken gasket seal in the intake manifold. This diagnosis is deeply concerning. There was no coolant leak before your dealership serviced my vehicle, indicating that the damage likely occurred during the initial repair. More troubling is the fact that your dealership allowed me to drive away with my two children in an unsafe vehicle despite clear evidence of a leak. Due to your dealership's negligence, I was forced to pay $841 out of pocket for repairs that should have been properly diagnosed and addressed during my initial visits. This level of service is unacceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BRING THIER VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU WANT IT RETURNED WITH MORE DAMAGE THAN IT STARTED WITH. read more

We didn't find out until after we signed in finance. 2) The dealership made this right by providing back the service they dishonestly removed but made us feel like they were doing us a favor and were so unfriendly and unprofessional about the process. 3) After finding out a piece of our new vehicle was missing, because our salesman never did a walk thru or checkout with us, we were forced to make a service appointment and wait to have a part of our vehicle added on that we paid for. That was after they made my wife make a service apportionment and take time off work just to find out they didn't have the part. 4) Suns tickets promised to us to try to close the deal. Buyers reported that the dealer sales team will add packages to the final sale that the buyer did not request. In many occasions the price of a vehicle has been inflated up to $10K resulting in extra charges that include window tinting package, third party powertrain transmission & engine extended coverage and auto accessories over the original price posted in OfferUp or Facebook Market. In other instances, it was discovered that the buyer was given no opportunity to look for a different lender with better auto loans. The sales representative is likely to convince you that they have the best auto loans using their own lenders when in reality they want to run your credit against multiple unrecognized lending institutions that charge up to a maximum of 29% interest rates. It was noted that 8 out of 10 buyers that purchased a vehicle during the years 2022, 2023, and 2024 were very displeased with the end purchase. Many of these buyers believed that the sales representatives are trained to quickly convince you that you qualify but in reality you do not, especially without true verification of employment. Other buyers reported many inconsistencies associated to the credit applications that simply do not match the applicant's first or last name with spelling errors and mismatched personal identification. This raises serious concerns because when your personal information do not match, then it is likely to receive wrong credit information. This dealer on average will credit check buyers against 5 to 6 entities damaging your credit score up to 16 points of your total credit score. It is recommended you come prepared with a pre-approved letter from your lender and DO NOT allow Ken Garff Kia Bell Road to run your credit again. FINAL ADVISORY: The buyers that purchased from this dealer believed that there are hidden fees classified as illegal charges with the intent to charge for something that the vehicle came with already. Brought my car in for some recalls to be fixed and another issue with the A/C. 24 hours after picking it up, my car engine overheated and I was stuck with my 3 year old. Thankfully my husband is a mechanic and was able to leave work. After a quick look under the hood, we discovered the cooling fan harness was not plugged in. Adrian provided us with the best service I've probably ever experienced from any car dealership. The problem was found and resolved plus 2 other issues were found and also fixed. I ended up only having to leave my vehicle overnight. Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Found a car we liked advertised through Autotrader. Car was listed at $18900 not including taxes, fees and registration, it listed that at $1950. I also filled out info for a trade-in and it estimated it at $1200. We test drove the car and sat down so they could "run the numbers". They came back with $29,500 out the door price! What?? Almost $11,000 more than the advertised price! First they acted like the advertised price was wrong because it wasn't from "their" site. Second, they had the trade-in at $0, when asked they said they didn't want it. Finally, the manager asked how long I've lived in AZ, when I said my entire life (60 years), he said because I must not know how car sales work in AZ. We got up to leave and they asked us to give them a minute. After going to the back a couple more times and removing all the things we didn't ask for or want they came back with a more reasonable offer, however, by this time I'd lost all confidence in this dealership, so I left. read more

We purchased a new 2024 Telluride in September 2024. A few weeks after purchase, we noticed an overwhelming gas smell every time we filled up the tank. I made a service appointment. This is where things went downhill quickly. After taking the car in for service, we didn't hear back for 5 hours and that was because I called for an update. The service advisor assured me TWICE that an Uber would be sent to pick me up. That didn't end up happening because it was going to cost $53 and that was too expensive. My car had a CRUSHED O RING from the factory. After finding a ride for myself, I was charged for the gas they had to put in to recreate the issue. Then she said "I could have charged you a $189 diagnostic fee, but I didn't." WHAT??? This car is 6 weeks old. I should not have to pay one penny for anything that goes wrong with this car for a long time. Shame on you for putting me out because of an issue with my brand new car. Do better! read more
