Amazing food and amazing service. I got the chicken fried chicken and the chicken gravy on top was the icing on the cake. The messy fish sandwich which my pretty girlfriend had was scrumptuous. Definitely coming back here if we're in town. read more

I gave this place a 3 because the service wasn't very prompt. It's almost like everything we asked for or needed we'd be waiting around for liking for our waitress. Out of the 4 different platters we ordered only one of us enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately the rest of my friends did not enjoy their meals or even finish them. Worth a try but food is okay. read more

Spent our last night in Niagra here (August 15, 2019). Had such an enjoyable evening. Would give the food a 4 star and the atmosphere a 5+! There was a guy playing guitar and singing-he was incredible. Taking requests and playing great songs. We sat on the patio and it was a fun, festive atmosphere. One thing we learned in Canada, service is not like it is in the US. Servers are so slow and not attentive-not the case here. Our waiter, Phoenix was very attentive and came back very often to check on us. Also made some great drink suggestions. My son had the salt and vinegar fish and said it just tasted like regular breaded fish, he was hoping for more salt vinegar flavor. Husband had the ribs and wings, ribs were a little dry but wings were good! I had the Tennessee hot chicken, it was good. Food was decent, but more so would recommend for the atmosphere and good service! read more

Fantastic service and reasonable prices. Live music, too. Had the Korean lettuce wraps and a bucket of coronas. Kids ate from the kids menu and enjoyed it - came with a dessert. read more

We were looking for a place to grab food and a couple of drinks our first night in Niagara Falls. The lady at the front desk of our hotel recommended Kelsey's. My wife and I sat first sat at a table top by the bar. Our waiter was very nice and quick with drinks and taking our order. We told him we were thinking of going up to Toronto to go to the game. He gave us some tips to avoid traffic. The food was good. Nothing spectacular, but what I expected for the location and the price. After dinner we moved to the bar to have another drink and watch the game. The bartender was nice and let you sample beers before purchasing to make sure you like them. Overall very good experience. We will probably be going back to watch the football games. The beer keg urinals are a bonus. read more

This is one of the worst Kelsey's I have ever been too. Outdated decor (looks like they were caught somewhere between the 70s and 80s) Very bland food (the worst caesar salad I have ever eaten in my life) and over fried chicken wings that tasted more like deep fried fat than wings. On top of this everything on the menu was overpriced. I get that Niagara Falls is a tourist attraction and that rents are high in this good, but if you can't compromise the quality of the food. The service here was very good though and that added a star to my rating. One of the worst dining experiences of my life. What a complete waste of money. read more

The food was ok but it was SO LOUD!!!!!! I'm 35 and lost my voice from a "casual dinner" at Kelsey's. You cannot have a conversation over dinner. read more

Judging by the decor, first impressions of the staff, the way the menu looks, and the prices, we were basically expecting Canadian Applebees. Like Applebees everything was just slightly overpriced and portions slightly too small. However, unlike Applebees, everything here was actually absolutely delicious. Two thumbs up all the way for the kickin broccoli and cheddar soup that was ooey gooey with real cheese, the in-house chili, the white chocolate cheesecake, and the cider. Really great. They messed up one drink, but they fixed it right away. Pair that with the fact that they were serving us food right up to midnight, and you have yourself a great vacation eating destination. read more

Great experience at this location, very good service - fast and friendly - and the food was excellent. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

First bite to eat here at the falls and not too shabby. Good food, good beer, good atmosphere for a reasonable price. Didn't get the name of the guy doing live music but he was awesome! read more

Kelsey's - American Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

Stopped here in the winter for dinner with friends, Overall it was ok but incredibly overpriced for what it was (chicken fingers and a tiny side salad was $17). I understand that perhaps it's a tourist area but I've had better and more affordable food in Las Vegas, San Francisco etc. The food was warm not hot when it was served, the liquor machine was broken so they couldn't make drinks (just beer and wine). The waitress was nice but I honestly think the prices would deter me from returning here in future. There are so many other places in Niagara with better, more affordable food. read more

Maybe I'm biased since this Restaurant shares my name -- but -- the drinks we're deliciously refreshing. I had the Bourbon Butter Soda and my boyfriend had an alcoholic cotton candy milkshake that he said was good. For dinner, we shared the Cheesy Garlic Twists for our appetizer and the best Fish & Chips we've ever had. My boyfriend isn't fond of fish and he ate more fish last night than I've seen the entire time I've known him (haha). Our server Megan, was very kind and on top of making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received. Also a thank you to the manager last night who granted a special request we had. read more

3.5 stars for the service. 2 stars for the food. I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries. Big mistake. The ribs were not as good as I "perceived" from the menu description and the fried were cold and too salty. That bring said, the service was good (not fabulous) and the waitresses are kind. My wife ordered the burger which was 3 stars(out of 5)...again, not as good as we expected. read more

There is nothing horribly wrong or incredibly good about this place. I would say the best feature of this restaurant is location. It is acceptable food and a short walk from the edge of Niagara falls park. It had ample space on a busy summer Sunday, but by the time we left there was a line at the door. It had live entertainment which was a plus but the volume was on the loud side even though the speakers. The service was courteous but slow. The menu had a lot of interesting items with a lot of variety but very little vegetarian and gluten free options. Also felt like I was being punished for being a vegetarian, cause even though you could replace every burger with a vegetarian option, it clearly stated on the menu you'll only get 1 patty where it states you're getting two if you're ordering meat. The quality and size of the portions were acceptable for the price. No one went hungry but the prices are slightly high. Quality of ingredients were good and food tasted OK, but nothing special about anything I tasted. In general this is a better option than fast food or chain restaurants, but nothing more. read more

If I could give it a ZERO, I would. blase fish taco's, burger was OK. Service was horrible, got there around 1 PM, and there were only 5 other customers in the place. Server started out OK, then totally forgot about us. We saw her to order, when she brought our food, and when she brought the check. Had to ask for drink refills when she brought the check, and that took another 5 minutes. Acted like it was a privilege for letting her serve us.... Not to mention the 1000's of fruit flies on the walls......should have just walked out. We were going to Yanks, but they were closed, and we went to Kelseys, but after that lunch, we will never go back here again. I will go to Yanks or Pho's read more

I waited an hour for my food it was chicken tenders that shit should of took 10 min max and when I got it it was cold I think they forgot about tbh it also tasted like shit I asked for water and the water was discoloured read more

Food was good, but service was atrocious. We requested an outside table and needed to wait for one to open. Meanwhile there were four tables that we could see that just needed cleared. Hostess came to get us and rake us to table, but then had to stand at the bar for 12 minutes while they tried to get it cleared. Once we sat down took waitress another 15 minutes to get to us. Then we saw her two times total the rest of the night. They were busy, but totally unprepared for crowds. Great atmosphere. Amazing live music. Good food. H O R R I B L E service. read more

Food was very good, My girlfriend had the buffalo chicken wrap chicken was very juicy and cooked just right to her liking, I had the bacon cheeseburger it was also juicy onion rings were cooked well. However, the best part of the meal was extraordinary service our waiter was very nice, informative, and friendly. My girlfriend also had a colossal margarita, it truly was a colossal margarita. Overall, a good experience and what you expect from a Roadhouse. Fun atmosphere and good food read more

This is one of the nicer baby-friendly places on Clifton Hill excluding the casino of course and Ruth Chris which is technically not on Clifton Hill but close by. They have a nice patio and live music which was great however, the food is very mediocre. The kids meal was worth the money but everything else was not. The service was decent - a bit slow sometimes. I do have to say though that the food in Niagara sucks so I wasn't surprised. I have yet to find a decent restaurant with decent pricing in the Falls area (excluding the casino). read more

The 'lady friend' and I went to dinner here in the middle of the week. A crying baby or two a few tables over was a bit annoying, but that's the risk of going to dinner in a family oriented area of town (Clifton Hill). I ordered the 'Messy Beef Sandwich'...excellent flavor and added gravy to the fries (recommended if you're not counting calories on your vaca like we are). She had the 'Messy Fish Sandwich' which too was excellent. Substituted a caesar salad for fries at no charge...which was a little over dressed (maybe order it on the side?). Overall, the food was well above average. We wanted to give Kelsey's 4.5r stars, but couldn't...and we didn't think it was a 5 star place, so 4 it is! Cheers!! read more

AHH!! You need to hear this. Please let me vent. I couldn't wait to get back to my hotel to write a satisfying review of my bad experience. So, my dad and I drove here from Connecticut for a wedding in Toronto. We stopped at Niagara Falls to stay a night in this fantastic touristy town. We were looking for a place to eat and saw that Kelsey's had a nice patio with a musician singing and playing guitar out there. That drew us in. We sat and when the waitress came over, we ordered the mozzarella bread, which sounded fantastic. When the food runner brought it over, she just dropped it off without bothering to notice we had no silverware, no plates, and no napkins. Bah, whatever. We ate the bread with sticky hands. The bread was gooey on the inside. It clearly came straight from the freezer. Huge turn off. We waited a while before the waitress bothered to come back, my hands desperate for a napkin. She apologetically brought silverware and napkins over after I asked. Around now is when I noticed that none of the long-haired waitresses didn't have her hair tied back. Rule #1 in restaurant health regulations, I mean come on. This can't just be an American thing. When it was time to order, I asked the waitress about 3 different menu items, all of which she had never tried. ....Really? My dad ordered the salmon, and I ordered the Sonoma salad with chicken. We literally waited 45 MINUTES for this food. No excuse. It wasn't even busy. When our food arrived, my chicken was not hot, yet tasty. The salad wasn't terrible, but the dressing- some sort of over-salted orange vinaigrette, was not very good. My dad's salmon dish was laughable! The salmon was covered in a heavy dill sauce with WAY too much dill. Just overpowered the flavors. The mashed potatoes I can't even believe. You know those boxed mashed potatoes? Processed flakes, just add water, that crap? That's what this tasted like. In fact, that's what it was, I'm sure of it. Any place who can't bother to make their own mashed potatoes, I can't bother to respect. And his vegetable, some sort of cubed sweet potato (2 potatoes in one meal, yeah? really?) were frozen on the inside. Yep, more frozen food. So if I haven't convinced you already, stay away. Try the Hard Rock Cafe or something. We wish we did. read more

Had a late dinner then after a long bus from Toronto. The music was very loud so we had to sit in the back. Ordered lobster bisque and mozzarella bread sticks. The bisque was fine but a bit salty and the portion rather small. Service was a bit slow but then again we changed our seat a few times, firstly because they sitting outside is very uncomfortable and then because the seats inside by the window were too loud because of the loud live music. Rather expensive for what you get. Probably won't go back. read more

So it's Bar food...great location in the fun part of Clifton Hill. I only had wine, but it seems that everyone else enjoyed the appitizers and the meals they ordered. The service was good and there was a live band. We tried to watch the game but there was no volume so it wasn't as exciting as it could be. I'd come here again!!! read more

Had a great dinner last night with my family and the food was great ! Service was quick and pleasant even though it was crazy busy . Spinach dip is a must have Burgers and bbq chicken sandwich was awesome Fries are not so great Tomato penne pasta was nice Live music is a nice touch as well and a great place to grab a couple of drinks with your buddy's Definitely will come back read more

The server is ridiculously rude!!!!! The server would shut you off when you wanna order your food. She said she will be back but not returning after 10mins. When you are taking your time and want some recommendation, she said "do you need more time on the menu? I think you do!" then walked away even when you are still talking. She rolled her eyes and there is no service at all. Don't even go to this place even you are starved to death. read more

Good place to get away from the crowd but still be in the middle of everything. Live music, many TVs, clean, fun place to grab some food and drinks. It's good for families, travelers or folks out for fun nightlife. The food is good, not great. They had a menu similar to large chain casual dining restaurants. Nothing is bad. Nothing sticks out. Nothing memorable about the food. The one thing memorable is the price. Everything was over priced - apps, drinks, sides, main dishes. I expected a mark up due to the location as a tourist trap area. You'll like this place if you are not price conscious. read more

Meh. Food was mediocre - steak was tough and dry - and the service was slow. Best part was the live music.

This is a really cool restaurant. We stopped in while sightseeing in Ontario. The music drew is in, but the food and service completely delivered! They had someone playing live music over lunch. The menu for kids was one of the best we saw on vacation, including the special drinks for kids. Our server was very professional, prompt, and friendly. This place is an easy one to add to the list of "visit again", if we are ever back in Ontario! read more

We went last night it wasn't very crowded. Live music was nice loud enough to hear and keep a conversation. The burger was great gravy fries were good not potien as advertised the breaded wings with medium buffalo sauce was missing any sauce and naked. This is where it goes south. The service was slow we got our food in waves two dishes then on and lost track of out final fish they now had to remake it took so long. Food was good servers were nice and friendly but obviously needed help. read more

Went there last Friday night 10/5, first night in Niagara. Sat at the bar. Walked out after receiving poor service and a bad round of drinks, its clear neither of those were important to the management so why eat there. Definitely recommend you stay away from Kelseys read more

We went here to get something to eat since it was close to our hotel. We all had a good meal and would try this place again. I had the Spam Burger which I will say was pretty good as I love Spam. Lovey atmosphere, the lighting was great. Wasn't too bright to the point I wanted to rip my eyes out but was too dark either. The servers were friendly and quick for my friends who ordered. My family had a high expectations when we come to this place, but sad to say it wasn't worth of our time coming here. The food are terrible very small portion, poor presentation and mostly the flavor is disgusting. $160 is not worth it. Not coming back again. read more

we came here to eat after our trip to niagra falls. it's a very upbeat place with live music and plenty of drinks on the menu. the burgers weren't so great for the price of $18, and our bacon grilled cheese was very dry and the cheese wasn't melted the whole way. our server was also pretty slow and didn't really pay much attention to us. 2 stars for the great spinach dip and the atmosphere, wouldn't want to come again or really recommend it to any travelers. read more

The food was not so impressive. We had to wait a very long time for our food. My burger was very over cooked and very dry. There was little to no sauce on the burger and I had to put ketchup on each bite just to get it down. My brother ordered the naked chicken tenders and they were incredibly crispy, almost hard to chew. Our waiter, Zsolt S., would never refill our waters or Pepsi's. We always had to ask and he was nonexistent at times. Would not recommend this restaurant. read more

My food was AMAZING! I had the "No Meat" Portobello burger and it was the best vegetarian option I've had from a restaurant in a while. Service was alright, took forever to get any one to help us, and drinks were a little weak but overall very tasty. Food 5/5 Service 3.5/5 read more

Went out to dinner with coworkers last night ( eight of us) and decided to try Kelsey's. We were seated right away (6:30pm) no waiting, which was great. The waiter who served us was very nice and engaging. He had a sense of humor which made my day, because I personally like to have light, funny conversations with people I meet. The waiters recommendations were spot on. The apps were great, we had fried pickles, Flat pan nachos, and spinach dip with nachos. Our entree's were from Burgers, Fish, salads, and pasta, all were very good, both quality and quantity. After our entree's were served, the place was starting to get busy (7:30pm), timing is everything! For the eight of us, the cost with drinks and a generous tip, was $375, which I thought was reasonable. (Less than $50 per person). I would recommend coming here and would definitely come back again. read more

We were visiting Niagara Falls with an Aunt and Uncle when we decided it was time for some lunch. The atmosphere at Kelsey's was exactly what we were looking for on a nice summer afternoon. We sat on the patio where there was a live musician playing, pleasant breeze and blue sky. What could be better? Food and drinks. We ordered our food and enjoyed the afternoon sipping drinks, waiting for our food. And waiting, and waiting. After about 45 minutes our server apologized, said they were short staffed and the kitchen was slammed. And we waited. We saw people seated after us paying their tab before we got our food. Coming from New Orleans, we expected better service in a tourist location. The food finally came after waiting well over an hour, but even more surprising, the salad came out last. After discussing the situation, we started eating our food. As it turns out, the food was actually quite good, but that didn't make up for all the wasted time. A frantic manager that just arrived on the scene immediately came over to our table and profusely apologized for the situation, and before we could say anything she made it clear that all the food would be comped. We obviously would have preferred our food come out on time and we could continue on with our adventures, but we were all in total agreement that the manager really went of the way to make the situation right. And for that, I'm now a fan. read more
