I rarely do reviews, but when you have an experience like this, you want everyone to know. Walked out of my place, and couldn't get back in. I couldn't, maintenance couldn't, no one could. I had looked up a locksmith in the past when I needed one, and yelp steered me to these guys. I had a good experience then, so I called them again. Short version, Brian answered my call, was finishing up a job and was on his way. He arrived within the hour, was very professional and got me back into my place within 10 minutes. Turns out the lock cylinder broke. So, it's Friday night, he comes immediately and I was desperate and lets face it, he could've really taken me to the bank. I expected it to be hundreds of dollars and it was not even even close. You don't need a locksmith often, but when/if you do, keep their number handy. Simply the best! read more

I used this co to change all my locks 11.2011 when I moved into a new home. I was locked out of my garage last month and contacted Brian about the situation. He answered my call and had me set up an online appt but was able to fit me in a day earlier b/c he was in the neighborhood. Overall they do a great job and have good customer service. Terrible service. Bought 3 locks in 2011 for $600. They said best locks money could buy and a 10yr warranty. After a year or so the locks started to stick/not turn. Keller came out and said it was due to winter ice. So come summer, same thing. Now they say because the door is not level. Apparently all 3 doors were not level because all three locks work just as poorly. I'm a realtor and landlord, so I had my maintenance guys check and my doors are level. After trying to contact them again and again, they refuse to take or return my call. So much for that 10yr warranty. Have had nothing but a bad experience with them. I would not recommend them at all. read more

Great experience. I have a 100 year old house and the front door lock started acting up. Another locksmith came, broke the lock, and said I'd need to spend $600 for a replacement lock plus $200 for labor. We called Keller Lock & Safe. They came down on a Saturday, replaced the lock, and charged $380 total. All while being friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! read more

Brian and Paul were both really helpful at our home. I took pictures and sent them measurements, and they special ordered parts for our super old doors. After a few hours of work one evening, we later had a related problem, which they fixed for a very reasonable fee some days later. These guys were great! I was really shocked when I saw they had some bad reviews. He came today to fix a broken lock and door handle for us. I made the appointment online earlier in the week and he called this morning to let me know he was here early! He was incredibly friendly, courteous and only charged me for a service call. Unfortunately, I did not have such a positive experience with Keller Lock. I talked to Brian and on the first phone call he seemed great. Said he couldn't come out that day to give me an estimate, but I could email him pictures of the locks I needed replaced and measure the width of the doors, and he would send me the estimate. The next day I sent him the information as he suggested. Several days went by and I never heard back from him. So I contaced him. He said he was working on it. Once he emailed me back and said he would send the estimate that night. I never received it. Once he said "You didn't get that? I'll resend it to you." I had added him as a contact so his email would not be filtered out as spam. So obviously he had not sent it. Numerous phone calls and emails later I finally gave up. 3 weeks is more than sufficient time to provide an estimate. If he was too busy, he could have just told me that. I was very frustrated and it became obvious that he did not want the work. Not very good customer service. I have since found someone else. I'm only giving him two stars because he was so nice in the beginning, otherwise it would be one star. read more

Worked out great. The locksmith called to say he would be an hour late, but everything else was great. He changed all the locks quickly, answered my questions patiently, and even fixed two of the strikers on our doors to make sure we felt good about our locks. Couldn't ask for more. read more

I was very disappointed after reading all these great reviews and choosing Keller come to my home. While they were prompt and very polite, their final price was WAY OVER what they quoted over the phone. The reason? Instead of rekeying locks like I had requested, they took it upon themselves to REPLACE some of the locks, each costing 8x the price of a rekey. They never mentioned this cost differential (had I known, I would have declined the service) and I only found this out when they asked for payment. If you feel like getting sucker punched anytime soon- call these guys!!! read more

These guys are great. I first had Emergency Locksmith at (866) 992-4545 come out because I was locked out without a key. They charged me over $300, and by the way they don't tell you that they only accept cash. The guy that came out was so sketchy and unprofessional that it made me feel uncomfortable. So I called Keller to come out and re-key my locks. They came out and re-keyed in about 15-20 minutes. THey were professional and educated me in case I lock myself out again and how to avoid high locksmith fees. They told me it would cost $100-150 and it turned out it was only $85. The owners actually service their calls and as a result you get great professional service... I really can't say enough great things about these guys. read more

Great experience with these guys. They couldn't make it to our original appointment because of an emergency appointment with another client, but they called 2.5 hours in advance to notify me. We rescheduled, and our guy showed up right on time. He rekeyed our locks quickly and even fixed one of our locks so the deadbolt was easier to operate. LOVE these guys. I called on Saturday late at night -they were able to come out as early as Tuesday to fix a broken lock and add a chain on our back door. Brian was absolutely lovely on the phone and accommodating when I had to reschedule to Wednesday. Paul came to handle the lock and fixed rather than expensively replaced our lock. This is a belated review. I chose Keller Lock & Safe to re-key my condo locks based on the positive reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, I didn't have such a positive experience. I spoke with Brian, and was able to schedule an appointment 2 weeks out. I was disappointed it would take so long to re-key 2 locks, but made an appointment anyway. The day of the appointment, I waited for someone to show, but nobody ever did. I was able to reach Brian a couple hours after the scheduled appointment time. He told me he was swamped with other jobs, and he wouldn't be able to get to my condo as scheduled. But, he told me he could come the following evening and would give me a discount for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, he never showed up the next day either and didn't respond to any of my voicemails ( I think I left either 2 or 3). So, I have no idea what the quality of the work is like, since I obviously wasn't able to get them to show up in the first place. read more
