Customized breakfast meal with bacon pancake and scambled egg
Lianna C.

This is our 2nd visit to Keke's. This place is busy as always but we got in right on time, and got seated immediately without waiting Our server-Lisa came right away and asked us what we would like to start with. So far the service has been excellent. We ordered kids pancake (didn't get to take a picture), cheesesteak omelette with fries, and customized breakfast plate-pancake, scrambled eggs, bacon. This time my husband didn't like the pancake cause it's too thick. But overall service was great.

Western Omelet, home fries, toast

This was my first at this location. I decided to go here this morning, being that I was in the area. Parking was slightly difficult to find, and having to wait a couple of minutes I did manage to find a parking spot. I decided to sit outside because of the toasty weather today and no rain. I decided to order a Western Omelet, home fries, and toast. That Western Omelet was very good and flavorful, and so were those potatoes. The bread was perfectly toasted as well and I decided to have that with some delicious strawberry jam. If I'm in this area again, I'll decided to give them a visit again.

I've been to KeKe's in South Florida, and I must say this location BLEW US away. The staff was most likely the kindest and most welcoming that I have experienced since before Covid when it comes to breakfast visits. We walked in and were seated immediately. Since we are regulars to the concept, we already knew what we wanted. I got my usual Greek omelette with potatoes and a side of bacon. My daughter got Nutella/banana stuffed french toast (eggs and bac on the side) and my sister got the apple cinnamon french toast, same sides. Orange and apple juices. Food was out in less than 12 minutes. I also ordered a pancake for the table and I can confirm it was the best pancake that I have ever had in my life. No I wasn't starving, yes it was that good. I had to tell our waitress to give praises to the kitchen. We didn't want to leave with how well we were being treated. The location is more modern than the ones I've seen before. It was immaculate, spacious, buzzing with great energy and comfortable. I can not WAIT to go back. This team is made of 100% all stars!

Kids breakfast was good in portions and they he eggs was very good cook. The server was attentive and brought us the plate very quick. The restaurant was clean and good atmosphere.

Over medium eggs and grits

Staff was friendly restaurant was clean. We went on a Tuesday morning and it wasn't busy but our food still took over 30 minutes and our English muffins came later. Somehow both of our over medium eggs had shells in them. This was our first time eating hear we usually go to first watch across the street. We probably won't be back.

Been wanting to try this spot since it opened. Came on a Monday morning around 11, not busy. Our waiter was very friendly and personable (Seven) he was a good vibe from beginning to end. I ordered the apple cinnamon French toast with eggs and bacon. I asked for my eggs to be made like the western omelette, we also tried the wild berry sangria. The food and the drink was sooo good. I enjoyed everything!

My first time at this Keke's location. The first time I tried Keke's was in Orlando but it is nice to now have a location in Jacksonville. I was quickly seated for breakfast but found service to be slow. After finally asking someone who my server was, another server jumped in and said they'd take our table. We ordered coffee and waters. I like that they had hazelnut creamer versus plain half/half like a typical breakfast place. For food, I got the scramble bowl and pancakes on the side. My meal was really good and the food came out hot and freshly prepared. They have some low calorie options so I also got a side of turkey bacon. Overall, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. When we finally got service it was good and the server was apologetic for the wait.

Special G-baby and G-ma time.

Planned to have lunch with my youngest G-baby and a friend. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Had to wait on the other guests to arrive, but I was seated promptly. They brought my orange juice and patiently waited until the other guests arrived to ask about orders. Once ordered, most of the food came out within a reasonable time; however, it seemed that one guest's food was forgotten. We had to remind the host to go check on it. Something was wrong with the fryer, so the frys came out later than the late meal. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The food was well seasoned and delicious. The lighting was good. A lot of natural sunlight filtered through the clean environment. Prices were reasonable, and the kids' menu had a couple of good choices on it. I will go again.

Fruit 2 French Toast Kekes Special Side of eggs n potatoes

I like that Oakleaf was blessed with one of these restaurants. I've seen them all over Jacksonville and just haven't had a chance to sit down and try this place. They've got a really great, extensive menu for anything you could image for breakfast. The decor is upscale for a brunch spot, lots of colors and abstract art placed around. However, I was not a fan of the siloed seating arrangements, their booths sit in a line similar to IHOP but don't provide an opening for family seating at all. On to the food: 1) the french is f***ing huge! SO beautiful, PLEASE try it! You can order a single, double or triple slice. I ordered two fruit slices that came loaded with gigantic strawberries (which could be sliced a bit more thin for easier eating and overall physical appeal). With that, came a side of eggs slammed with an almost $3 slices of pepper jack cheese just get the cheddar, paired with a seriously odd breakfast hash. Sliced potatoes with limited seasoning and plenty of oil.. 2) my date ordered a simple meal - two eggs, grits and toast, which left her full and happy. All in all, I will be back. But as the picky eater I am, I'll be prepared to make some adjustments: - cubed potatoes and (fingers crossed) the opportunity to add peppers n onions, as a hash should be served -seasoned scrambled eggs with Shredded cheese - and less banana on the french toast, I swear I ate an entire banana that day and very few blueberries ):

Good food , my fave is the Sunshine bowl. The Nutella stuffed French Toast was yummy too. Great service and no wait to be seated .

Luke was the goat! When my pancake that I asked for whipped cream had no whipped cream he noticed and immediately brought me a giant mountain of whipped cream before I even asked! Plus the food was some amazing breakfast food! Would go there again!

Atmosphere + Service + Food + Portobello panini was great. Well seasoned but not enough mushroom for me. My friend had the omelette. She said it was well seasoned and the pancakes were fluffy. The little one enjoyed every her French toast and the fruit...she devoured. My only concern is that, while everyone was eating I was still waiting for my food. The waitress was pleasant and made sure all was well at the table. Overall, I'd certainly me back and give it another try, but this time with Mimosas

Noticed Callahan's was nearby and I had never ate there so I decided to pop in for a visit. One look over the appetizer list and I immediately knew I had to get the Irish Egg Rolls which consist of cabbage, corned beef, and shredded mozzarella and is served with a side of mustard and thousand island dressing for dipping. The egg rolls were perfect deep fried and had that great corned beef and cabbage flavor and they tasted wonderful dipped in mustard. I would definitely get these again and again in the future. For the burger I just went with their classic smash burger with pepper jack cheese. It was really good, a standard burger. Nothing bougie, nothing fancy. Just a nice, classic burger with great flavor. Came with your standard toppings. Lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, and ketchup, mayo, and mustard on the side. Service and staff was friendly and made me feel very welcome. It felt like one of those places that remembers the names of all of their regular customers. We stood at the front door for a solid 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. The place was full but there were a couple of empty tables needing to be cleaned. When we were finally sat, no one did a drive by to let us know about drinks or ordering. Another 10 minutes and we ended up leaving. The place was lively and a band was on stage which was set up for half the restaurant. I can appreciate that set up so the whole restaurant is not in front of the band. It felt like a lot of locals which is great for them. Maybe this isn't a spot to consider if you don't have hours to hang out. Unfortunately, we weren't able to dine so can't comment on the food.

I really wish it had a softer lighter bite but it lacked any sponginess. I realized quickly we would need some milk for coffee to wash it down. The icing was divine though. The caramel drizzle on mine was sweet but not overpowering an in perfect balance. I just really wish the cake itself had been better. I know people prefer different density in their cakes but I'm of the moist and spongy variety. Also the price is a bit high for the cupcake size especially given the quality. Service-10/10. I ordered the following: Keto breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese: 9/10 - it was so delicious oh my goodness! It was pretty huge too! You can have your choice of bread and I chose a flatbread. The egg was fluffy, cheese was melted, and the bacon was crispy. Who would have though the sandwich was entirely keto friendly too??? Keto cheesecake: 8/10 - I didn't know it was crustless but nonetheless, it was delicious. It had caramel, chocolate drizzle, and nuts on top of the cheesecake layer. The cheesecake itself was creamy and flavorful. They had plenty of carb friendly and keto friendly desserts like brownies, cakes, and cupcakes in their display. I've had their keto cupcakes before and it's kind of dense but it tastes good with not alot of the fake sugar aftertaste. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and desserts. I will be back to try other things for sure!

For the wings we ordered the Cajun ranch. Our food started coming out in about 5 minutes. Firstly, I was shocked at the wings. I love wings, but they aren't something I usually order often as I find them just OK. There are only a couple places that I visit specifically for wings. Well, let me tell you, I would make a visit back just for these wings. OMG, the Cajun ranch was simply amazing, really addictive. They were my favorite item. We devoured them. The burnt ends were very good. I appreciate they are big chunks of brisket with no pull pork filler. The flavor was amazing as well and the bits of fat melted in our mouth. The corn nuggets were fine and the Mac N Cheese was quite tasty. We enjoyed the meal so much, were were trying to figure out somewhere for a family lunch the next Sunday and came back again. This time my sister, son and I brought my dad. We of course ordered more wings and burnt ends and brisket with lots of Mac N Cheese. The food really is something special. The aesthetics of this location continues inside with it's decor and the various seating arrangements which include the standard height, booths and bar height tables. As for the food, I appreciate that there's not a crazy amount of options. It's mainly Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw and their Cane's sauce. Their drink options include: fountain dinks, iced tea, and lemonade. We learned that the lemonade is made in-house and freshly squeezed each day, which was actually pretty delicious. We got The Box combo so we could try a little of everything. The toast was nicely buttered and toasty. The chicken fingers and coleslaw were just average tasting. The chicken was fried well and juicy on the inside but it felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. It wasn't bland but I guess if you dipped in into the sauce, it's their saving grace. The Cane's Sauce is really good, by the way. The coleslaw tasted as I expected so nothing really stood out to me. There are 2 family restrooms with changing tables. It was nice, clean and well stocked with paper products. High chairs are available outside the restrooms. And the service we received was great!
