Visited this adorable spot yesterday on the way into Jacksonville and was amazed by how great it was, and how I never knew about it before yesterday! Driving up you are greeted by the cutest little VW van with the logo on the side. I don't know what they use this stand for, but I sure do love it! Inside Spruce is the perfect blend of coffee shop and plant shop. I've seen many places attempt to pull off what Spruce seems to be doing effortlessly! There were multiple Christmas trees decorated with bows and gift card ornaments, garland flocked with bows, and within the plant area, there was a cute option to decorate your own mini tree. They perfectly wove in Christmas cheer without altering their aesthetic. Amazing! Their plant area featured a variety of plants, some more rare and unique others and plenty of upscale plant related items. Nice pots, cute decor, etc. I honestly went for the vibes and coffee, so I didn't buy any plants, but I could easily see myself buying some in the future. Their coffee area is clean and simple, and the drinks were both adorable and delicious. I got a peppermint latte, one of their seasonal drinks and was delighted to see the foam came shaped like a bear! My daughter ordered the gingerbread latte and was also wowed by the presentation of her drink. The spot has numerous tables and a couch area inside, and additional seating outside. We opted for a cozy couch area inside with a perfect view of all the plants and all the sweetness that is Spruce. We truly enjoyed this coffee stop and we'll be back in the future! Highly recommend for anyone looking for coffee or plants items in the Murray Hill area!

This place looks like it is straight out of a magazine inside. I have never tried matcha before and asked chatgpt where to go and it directed me to Spruce! The interior was so pretty, so much natural light and plants. I can definitely see myself coming back with a good book and just hanging out. They were closing for a private event when I arrived but still assured me I could order and I didn't feel rushed. The woman made suggestions and told me it would taste like a milkshake which it did! I ordered the blueberry jam matcha with oat milk and it was sweet but not overly sweet which I like. It had large chunks of blueberry and was simply yummy! They also had a beautiful outdoor patio area which I think would be ideal for larger groups and on beautiful days like today!

SPRUCE - After Thoughts: A bright and inviting entry welcomes you into a spacious café filled with lush greenery and thoughtfully placed ceramic décor (many of which are available for purchase). The blend of natural wood and terrazzo flooring adds a modern yet cozy charm. Though we arrived during a low-traffic hour (around 5 p.m.), the space was pristine and beautifully kept. The barista was kind, attentive, and patient as I explored the pastry options. Parking is plentiful, but take it slow when turning into the entry. Selections:    *   Cardegan Latte (Hot): A wonderful first impression -- the warm spice of cardamom complemented by subtle notes of maple.    *   Ginger Molasses Cookie: Moist, flavorful, and perfectly matched to my coffee. The bold ginger was beautifully balanced by the rich molasses.    *   The Showgirl Latte (Iced): (Companion's choice -- no taste offered) A delicate "carrot cake" profile that wasn't overly sweet, finished with a smooth cream cheese cold foam.    *   Caramel Apple Scone: Delightfully tender with real apple pieces inside -- not tough or dry, and full of flavor.    *   All Too Well Latte (Hot): (Another companion's selection) Pleasant but unremarkable -- enjoyable in the moment, though not particularly memorable.    *   Apple Butter Kolache: A standout -- soft and danish-like, subtly sweet, with wonderfully rich apple butter filling. Currently on the "JAX Coffee Crawl '25," and SPRUCE was our first stop -- and what a great start! I'll definitely be returning. They also serve adult beverages, which is a Plus. Rating: of 5 (4 of 5) A must-try spot if you're in the Murray Hill area!

I was at this coffee house for an event, but I am in LOVE with this place starting with the LARGE parking lot!!! Not having to search for parking felt great. This is a spacious facility with ample seating inside and on the covered patio that has a fireplace. Being surrounded by the greenery is also a nice touch. The staff is great and the drinks and snacks are delicious. I will definitely be back especially how close it is to my job.

What a quaint hideaway! I've never had a beet latte but it was good. They serve holistic drinks, tap brew, wine and small bites. I love the atmosphere with the plants and decor. They had a few musicians playing as well. This place is a Gem!

This was my first visit to Spruce in Murray Hill. I enjoyed their former Jax Beach location, especially sipping glasses of wine while chatting with Cera & attending I Know It Trivia. The shop is so charming and cozy that I couldn't resist capturing it just after opening, before the weekend bustle started. I enjoyed a Cardigan (maple cardamom latte) from their Taylor Swift named fall menu selections. I paired it with a delicious sausage, egg, & cheese Breakfast Sammy that was so hearty that I took half of it home. If you aren't already following Spruce on social media, do it now! In addition to being the best spot to grab coffee, wine, eats, & plants, they hold a variety of fun social events every month.

This was the first time I visited Spruce. It was nice day out so I was able to sit on the patio there was a large TV there but it was still early so it wasn't on. Overall it was a good vibe I had the spinach quiche and it was tasty. I would definitely return.

I wasn't sure what to expect coming here for a book club this evening but this place is the definition of a hidden gem. A plant store, bar, coffee shop and bakery all in one with a beautiful ambience indoor and outdoor. They had beer, wine and kombucha on tap and then coolers with other drink options as well. I enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and they had a great selection of other baked goods. Such a cute space that would be great for someone who works remote, a meetup like book club or just a place to grab a drink with a friend.

(even Datil peppers which is hard to find!) They have all the supplies including pots and soil. The biggest praise I can give this business is their customer service. I was warmly greeted by multiple employees, and a nice lady was very patient with me and all of my questions. Going into a garden store can be intimidating when you don't know where to start, but the staff made everything very easy and even helped me load up my car with all of my goodies.

My wife came by this store a couple weeks back and bought some pots for our cute new family members, but she forgot the saucers for them. I came in today with the intent of buying the saucers and maybe getting a new plant. This place looks great. They have tons of good looking plants, herbs, and shrubs. But with all the feel good green vibes and pretty scenery it was strange how the customer service was so eh. Now, no one was a straight up jerk, but there was something missing. I thought maybe it was just me so I asked my wife after I got home and she had the same experience. She didn't say anything to me about it before. Anyhow, they have an assortment of plants, pots, saucers and supplies. Prices are not cheap compared to other locations I've visited around town. There are people there to ask questions to and check you out, but I found staff at competitors a bit more willing to talk and answer in sentences rather than one word replies.
