This coffee shop is cool. It's motorcycle themed and the barista is legit. She made a great matcha latte. I love the tv channel of the Jax beach surf. I need to come back for their breakfast sandwiches.

Everything is thoughtfully designed to create a cozy, welcoming environment, but the real highlight is, of course, the capybaras! Getting to observe and gently interact with these calm, friendly animals made the visit feel truly special and unlike anything else in the area. The staff was wonderful as well--kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the animals and guest experience. They made sure we felt comfortable, explained everything clearly, and helped make my wife's birthday feel extra special. What really sets the Capybara Café apart is how peaceful and joyful the whole experience is. It's not just a café visit--it's a memory you'll talk about long after you leave. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for something truly different and meaningful. We couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience. We'll definitely be coming back!

This was not a very enjoyable experience for our party…read more.. My sister has always wanted to see capybara's up close, so this was the perfect experience for her! We fed them lettuce and kale, and were able to pet them. The young lady in the capybara room with us was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information! She was wonderful! What wasn't wonderful was the service for the rest of the visit... we arrived 5 minutes early, yet when we were being taken back to the room with the capybaras, the lady at the front desk told the other employees "yeah. The group that is late." Excuse me? We were on time? They have a little waiting room area with smaller animals such as small bunnies, ferrets, lizards, etc. My party was waiting for me to go to the restroom before we left, so they were looking at those animals in the waiting room. All of a sudden, they were told they need to get out and weren't allowed to be in there... who cares? There was NO ONE ELSE in there at the time... we had just paid $50 PER PERSON for 25 minutes with the capybaras. The LEAST you can do is let us look at the smaller animals for 5 minutes... In our room, there were 11 of us. They made $550 in 25 minutes. With a session every 30 minutes from 11 AM to 4:30 PM, they make roughly $5,000 alone for just the capybara experience. Not to mention the other $50 they charge people who want to see the more exotic animals. Again, the LEAST they could do is let us look at the lizards... We were not impressed with the experience whatsoever, by my sister was able to check off a bucket list item which is all I can ask for.

You can just have a drink and see cats from the other room. It was helpful because our toddler was entertained. We did want to come inside to see kitties but we didn't make appointment and the wait was way too long for us. Ambience is super friendly and cozy. The only criticism is they didn't have decaffeinated espresso so we just had a tea. They also sell few things for kitties and some other cat themed items.

Everything is incredibly fresh, each box is fully customizable, and they're designed beautifully right on the spot. Their sandwiches are also to die for- hands down the best in town and easily my favorite. I've had almost all of them and still can't decide which one is my favorite. The shop itself is always spotless, and everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and happy to accommodate different dietary needs. They also always have specials and new menu items that change with the seasons, which makes every visit feel exciting and unique. There's even a little market in the front that sells dry goods, which is such a fun touch. It's truly one of those places you can't help but keep coming back to!

We had: the Figgy Piggy", which is on a fresh, toasted baguette, contains deli-grade prosciutto, garlic olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese. greens and more. We also had a "Piggy Pear", of similar construction, but instead substitutes tender ham, date & pear preserves. It was delicious, very tasty, warm and so plentiful that we each took half of ours home. The regular price is a very reasonable $11. Most people will not walk away hungry after one of these. They have a whole selection of sandwiches, croissant and waffle-based concoctions, drinks, including coffees. It appears that their biggest feature is picnic baskets, consisting of a wide array of goodies ranging from $18-59 (for four people). They also do catering, so we left with a menu and business card. The owners have caterers for many years and jokingly (?) said they had to open this place to keep their daughter in Boston College. One thing we have noticed living and traveling to many places is that most areas have a fairly small percentage of good and reasonably priced restaurants. This one made it to our list.
