This coffee shop came highly recommended for some morning work I needed to finish while visiting the area. They have tons of seating options, like couches, a conference room, long high-top tables, and regular dining-style tables. It was hard to pick a spot! The wifi worked great and I made friends with another WFH person while I enjoyed my expertly crafted oatmilk cortado. Ordering from the counter was a breeze and I also got the bacon and avocado toast. Overall, definitely a coffee shop I'd hit up again for some work and a morning bite. The place is big and spacious. Seems to be a hotspot for an alternative office. Lots of laptops all over... The flavor of the coffee...was ok, nothing special. And the avocado toast was also just ok. If I were going to be right here for, say, the thrift shop, then maybe I'd get a cup o joe here. The highlight was definitely the blue pea flower latte, Even though it is not caffeinated, I still enjoyed its refreshing floral flavor and even contemplated a second order! 10/10 The blueberry donut was a wonderful twist on the classic old fashioned donut 9/10 The strawberry donut tastes a little more artificial, but was overall still very moist and enjoyable 7/10 The pesto grilled cheese needed a bit more filling, but the flavors were still good. Admittedly the picture I included isn't the greatest, because if I got the cafe in the background I would have been taking pics of random strangers lol. But just recently checked out Sago Coffee and really enjoyed. It was on a rainy day so it was absolutely PACKED inside, but in general there was still ample seating and great vibes. I loved the large open feel to the cafe. There were low tables and high tables, as well as couches and lounge chairs. The whole place was super cool and relaxing. I am an attorney and business owner (and mother, relevant to this); I have decades of experience in service industries and the law. I have been a customer of Sago coffee since 2019. I have spent thousands of dollars each year at Sago. Today I had 40 minutes to get a coffee and two açai bowls for my son and I before I dropping him off to school. I ordered and got my coffee pretty quickly, but 20 minutes in, there was no sign of the açai bowls so I went up to the counter and asked whether or not they forgot about me. The cashier went to the back to check on my order. From the back came out a different person who presumably makes the order. Her name was Sarah. Sarah had a scowl on her face and told me flatly that somebody else took my order. At this point I asked her "well what are my options?" She said they can make two new ones. I was already running late so I said "unfortunately I'd like my money back because I don't have time to wait for this." To which she gave me another scowl and rolled her eyes. She started trying to give me a refund and was clearly unable to or unwilling to do so. She continued to roll her eyes and scowl as she was doing this. At this point, I said to her, "you know you could express an apology for the fact that I waited and it was not there." To this, she responded, "it is not my fault that someone else took the order." To this I said "I understand that, but you are displaying an extreme lack of sympathy and empathy. It's really bad service." To this her response was "how come you are not displaying sympathy for the fact that I am pregnant." I had to gather myself and keep my calm at the sheer entitlement and absurdity of this comment 1. This person expects a customer -- who is with her 9yo son -- to not ask for basic courtesy and service; 2. She expects me the customer to tolerate her rude hostile behavior; 3. Then she expects me to sympathize with HER bc she is working during pregnancy. The last time I checked about half of the population is eligible to work during pregnancy. There is nothing unique and special about her condition that exempts her from behaving like a professional human. I asked her for her name. She gave it to me. I asked her for her manager's name. She said Kyle and then said "he will not care about anything you say." I ignored her comment and waited for my refund. Because Sarah was preoccupied with painting herself as a victim and expressing entitlement bc she is one of billions of women who are pregnant and employed, she was not processing my refund. When I asked her how much longer my refund was going to take, she gave me double middle finger fuck off sign and walked off. As of writing this, I've not gotten the refund. This person Sarah needs to be terminated; she is toxic. Her pregnancy does not shield her from this act; sago is within their right to terminate her immediately. Sago needs to apologize and give me my money back. Sago should also consider retraining their staff. read more

I am so happy I stopped here recently to work and enjoy breakfast. I visited around 7:30 am on a Friday and was surprised to see how busy it was. It was a good vibe and didn't feel so early at all. I was greeted right when I went in. I noticed the conference room on my way back to use the restroom. It was bright and clean. I made my way back to the front and browsed the menu. I decided on an almond milk latte (hot) with a little bit of their seasonal rosemary sage syrup. I also ordered an avocado toast. I found a seat at the bar next to another friendly person working on a laptop. Everyone here was so nice! My latte came out quickly and was beautiful! I was so impressed with this coffee. My latte with the homemade syrup was delicious. The avocado toast was great too. It was bigger and more substantial that I expected, which was great. I will absolutely be back here soon. Free parking on the side of the building too. 5 star experience and possibly my new favorite coffee shop! I'll be back! read more

After a busy day of running errands I needed an immediate pick me up and my closest option was Sago Coffee. I'm no stranger to the shop as it has become one of my favorite spots for studying/catching up on work and it felt like a no brainer to stop by for an iced matcha. While, I was a bit dissatisfied with my matcha today it doesn't discount the numerous other times that I've been happy with my order and the constant friendliness of the staff outweighs a one-time dismay. If you do happen to stop by I would highly recommend the avocado toast or avocado bagel with bacon bits as it always hits the spot! read more

What a great and a beautiful coffee shop this was! My husband and I per usual looking for a local coffee shop and we stumbled upon this one and really glad we did! Their flat white was so perfect! First off, I'm not a coffee person. But, some friends and I stopped in here to wait on the store to open next door. I got the Berries and Crème Latte. It did not taste like berries. Hahaha. BUT, it was good. Smoother than I expected, for a coffee. And not overly sweet like some other coffee shops out there (not naming names). Hehe My friend tried the Peaflower Lavender Latte. It was surprisingly smooth and can definitely taste the Lavender, but not overly powerful. Just enough. I liked the space. We walked in and realized every seat was taken, and it wasn't super kid friendly, but I wanted to grab a coffee before we went to try another breakfast spot. I ordered a regular latte with skim milk. This would be the perfect place to meet a friend for coffee, get some work done by yourself, or a brainstorming session with a client (they even have a conference room). It's sleek, modern, and expansive inside. My little let me know he had to go potty, so we headed to the restroom. They do offer a diaper changing station, so if you bring a kiddo and they need a diaper change, you're good to go. The bathroom was clean and equipped with standard items you'd need in a bathroom. When I got my latte, I took a sip and it was perfectly balanced. Enough foam, robust, and I added sugar to my liking. Will I be back? You bet, minus my kid, because hot coffee and kids make me nervous. The service wasn't bad the employees were nice but not very welcoming. A reason I think my drink came out wrong was the barista was preoccupied chatting with a regular.. I tried the Peaflower Lavendar Latte (iced, with almondmilk) for the first time, and while I actually really don't like lavender in general, this latte was delightful. It was lightly sweet, with a marshmallow/cotton candy, yet earthy flavor, and I love the blue color. I enjoyed it so much, I'm buying pea flower powder to switch up my usual decaf coffee routine. As someone that's sensitive to caffeine, I also really appreciate that this drink is caffeine free. I also got a decaf latte which is possibly the best decaf latte I've ever had, and I've had many. Ot was incredibly smooth. I had the Turkey Pimiento sandwich with my drinks . I really enjoyed the combination of flavors. Located at the north beach area Sago Coffee is such a cute and trendy spacious coffee place. When you walk in you Could smell the enticing aroma of freshly ground beans. Inside it's such a cute trendy and social fun place to hang out or relax. It's sort of has a social groupie trend Vibe and a cute meeting with your friends or even just a solo time to yourself would suffice. I got the avocado toast and freshly ground coffee the avocado toast was so delicious topped off with avocado tomato mozzarella and seasoning. The only problem is there wasn't many choices on the menu either there wasn't many choices or they were completely out this is understandable because the coffee place is fairly new. I will definitely check this place out again however hopefully the reason why I'm giving this a four star review is because they should put more menu items on the list and also they should have a large amount of supply and not run out so fast. read more

Three employees working. One at the register and two servers. One customer ahead of me ordered a pour over and server immediately began working on his order. I ordered a pour over as well and paid cash. I did not leave a tip. The cashier proceeded to wait on two other customers. She then started to fill their orders. As other customers came in she followed the same routine. I thought, ok, pour over's were done by one server. Wrong. After the server who was working on the pour over finished she was then given new orders. It was at this time my order was given to the third employee who then began to work on my order. It was very amusing to see her drag out the entire process. She filled the pot. Put it on the heater. Took it off and added more water. Took it off again and poured some out. Started the pour over. Walked away and went in the back. After a minute or so I walked up to the counter and looked at the server who came over, put a lid on the cup and said, "sorry for the wait".
