They consistently have amazing drinks. The baristas are highly trained and I appreciate that. They also give latte art on hot beverages. The ambiance is small and cozy. It can get busy but you can usually find a spot. I also recommend the meat pies.

I had coffee here once. It was pretty good. I didn't stay inside to feel the vibe...I did a grab n go. I'd probably stop in again if i'm right here, but I don't remember it being super amazing or awful, so it's probably pretty good.

One of my new fav coffee shops in Jax Beach! I have done some work here a couple of times and it's been great both times. It's a cozy spot and I like how there's always a table open when I come. The matcha is delicious and I got the panini recently too which was yummy. The girls working are always friendly. Also I truly appreciate the chargers at each table - so important for the people who come to do work here!

Overall a good experience althoug customer service was a bit lacking as we didn't really receive a welcome. But, the spot was nice and they offered a variety of options. The menu was extensive and the ambiance was cozy. We ordered a mocha latte which was good but I've been to better coffee shops. Their vegan cake pop was also okay.

Never have anything bad to say about Roundbird. I have loved their coffees and pastries since they opened. This scream drink (seasonal for October) is divine! The service is always so friendly and the decor is always seasonally on point. I LOVED when I walked in at 2:30 and the place was packed with people working, eating and socializing. Definitely suggest Roundbird to everyone!

We really enjoyed trying out Round Bird Coffee recently! What we really enjoyed were the wide variety of coffees, flavors, and creative homemade drinks which the baristas make! There seem to be endless options of drinks (as well as some food) which makes you want to go back and try them all! Additionally, the shop is quite spacious as well. In addition to tables, stools, and couches to choose from, a good portion of the establishment has large windows, allowing natural light to pour in. We really enjoyed, and maybe you will too!

Great friendly service and a delicious, diverse menu for both drinks and food. Prices are reasonable, and the empanadas and pretzel bites are fantastic! I'm loving my dark roast--smooth and flavorful. Close to JAX Beach with plenty of free parking, which is perfect for a disabled traveler. Bonus points for all-gender bathrooms. I'll definitely be back!

One of my fav spots in Jax to work from home! It's pretty quiet inside so good when you're heads down working, also has the cutest vibe with fairy lights and music. Their menu has a ton of food, I've unfortunately only had pastries but haven't had anything I don't like. Looking forward to coming back!

    Met friends here too.

Nice smallish coffee shop at Jax Beach. When you walk in it smell so good...fresh coffee smell but they also have tea and wine! We were here to an olive oil and vinegar tasting event. Perfect size for our group. We enjoyed the information, the tasting and the samples!

Started the day at Round Bird. Perfect to study, grab a coffee, or catch up with a friend. The lounge area was super chic. Ladies were super nice! Indoor/outdoor seating! Coffee and little macaron I ate before taking a picture lol was amazing.

My DH and I were out at the beach for an appointment and had some time to spend before the next one. We decided to check out Round Bird Coffee as we both love a coffee shop vibe. And Round Bird did not disappoint! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My DH ordered a Hazelnut Latte (that was so good I ended up ordering one later!) and a Ham & Cheese Croissant. I ordered a Cappuccino and it was the perfect balance - the espresso came through beautifully! We both noticed the beautiful, rich & creamy whip on top of both of our coffees... lovely! We aren't out at the beach much, but next time we go, Round Bird Coffee will definitely be a stop for us!

Dark chocolate iced latte with coffee cake cold foam

I got the dark chocolate latte with cinnamon coffee cake cold foam on top. The dark chocolate latte with cinnamon coffee cake cold foam was a delightful and indulgent coffee beverage that combined rich flavors and a creamy texture. Topping this latte with the frothy cold foam infused with cinnamon coffee cake was the best decision ever!! The cold foam added a creamy, decadent layer to the drink, creating a harmonious balance between the bitterness of dark chocolate and the sweet, spiced notes of cinnamon coffee cake. So yummy and I recommend all of you visiting!!

It was a scene in here. Between the matching Alo sets, GoYard Bags, and women coming straight from their pilates class I had to double check if I was in Jax Beach or LA. That might read kind of bad, but I meant it as a good thing. When the Maddie's and Cassie's of the world are frequenting your coffee shop, you are doing something right. These are the worlds leading coffee connoisseurs of today. When I see a slender figure in a matching Alo set with crispy white New Balance 530s on the feet walk into a coffee shop, I immediately know they have quality beans. It's instant credibility. You think sis is going in there to get a mid dirty chai latte!?! Dating a Maddie myself, I have realized that not all dirty chai latte's are made equal, and Round Bird's was HIGH LEVEL. The croissant I got was middy wap tbh, but the americano was fire. You could taste the quality in the espresso which is harder to come by than you'd think. Really makes you wonder... While I wouldn't call this a go-to "work from a coffee shop all day" sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor.  I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence "Ink Factory".  I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn't seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out.  If they're really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that's pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I'd camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

At the time, Mayport Cats was the branch that handled the feral cat colonies out by Mayport Base (TNR, feeding, vet care & evaluation to see if any could be placed for adoption). My aunt occasionally volunteered and contacted us about a 9mth kitten, that had delivered her own litter of kittens and was available for adoption but had been overlooked at several adoption events. My husband and I went to meet Clover, we immediately knew she'd be the perfect fit for our daughter (and boy oh boy has she been) and brought her home that day. Included in her paperwork was information about The Caffeinated Cat and our entire family was so excited to learn such a place existed. Several of our children have chosen to make donations of food, toys and treats (for the kitty residents of the cafe) for their birthdays and other milestones vs receiving gifts......and of course, we always procure some human treats for ourselves while there. Lastly, they stepped up and stepped in when we were experiencing a situation with a stray that had been dumped in our neighborhood (unfortunately it's quite common here). He was a stunning muted Siamese that adored people and dogs, but seemingly hated other cats although it seems that particular trait was due to the stress of being dumped and insecure (once he was no longer a "stray" the issue resolved)my kids named him Pig due to his pink nose. I was caring for him but couldn't bring him into our home, as he kept charging the glass door, hissing and growling every time one of our cats walked by. Sadly, he showed up badly injured one morning.....after an obvious fight with another cat, seemingly having lost his eye. I was heartbroken for him, I knew he needed to belong to someone.....he was not feral nor adjusting to the lifestyle well and that point seriously injured. I contacted Mayport Cats/The Caffeinated Cat with the hope of getting some guidance/advice but they instead offered to take him into their care. He was renamed "Merlin" because his eye somehow magically reappeared after being seemingly gone for 3 days and he healed beautifully, I'm not sure if he's still a resident or has been adopted but The Caffeinated Cat is an amazing place, that offers a unique experience that benefits our community ....If you are a cat or animal lover, you should definitely stop by, grab a drink and pet a fur baby! **Including photos of Clover and Pig aka Merlin

Several raved about the shrimp and grits. Caron loved her mahi mahi. Connor got the Spicy Wild Caught Shrimp Linguine with White Wine, Garlic, Tomato, Pecorino and inhaled it! Even the kiddos were super happy with the kids chicken strips, although the kitchen delivered the first plate to the wrong toddler and the lovely parents didn't question how they got food without ordering and that little girl dug right in. Opposite end of the table- this grandma spoke up and we split the food so all the littles were fed. Considering our chaotic group, it went very well. I didn't hear a single complaint from our party. Hopefully we didn't drive the staff too crazy!

I used to absolutely love this place. It was our go-to for seafood, celebrations, family dinners,…read moreand special occasions for years. We recommended it constantly and genuinely enjoyed supporting them. Unfortunately, after our last few experiences, that loyalty is completely gone. The problems really started during a dinner visit with my spouse. We had a reservation for two and specifically requested a booth because my spouse has herniated discs and booths are much easier on her back. The hostess with glasses told us there were "no booths available for parties of two," so we were seated at a tiny two-top directly in front of an empty booth. Minutes later, another couple - who apparently didn't even have the correct downstairs reservation because Wheel House was closed for a private event - was seated in that exact booth instead. When I politely questioned it, I was told they were "accommodating them." Interesting, because apparently accommodating a medical issue for customers with a reservation didn't matter. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another chance for Mother's Day. To their credit, we were seated at a booth this time after I both noted it in the reservation and called ahead to confirm it. Our waiter was someone we immediately recognized from a previous visit, and my parents mentioned he had waited on us before at that same table. Somehow, from that comment alone, he became convinced we were related to Chef Tim Tillus. From there, things got bizarre. He kept talking about "Timmy," mentioning reunions and saying he used to live with him. The restaurant was extremely loud, and my father had forgotten his hearing aids that day, so honestly we could barely understand what he was talking about. We just smiled politely and focused on asking about the menu because we truly had no clue where the conversation was going. Eventually, he came back and realized we were NOT Chef Tim Tillus' family. He then explained that the kitchen staff had apparently been laughing because the chef saw us and said, "That's not my family." So somehow this became a whole ordeal in the kitchen over a completely innocent misunderstanding. We laughed awkwardly because what else do you do at that point? But honestly, the whole interaction felt strange and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the food was even worse than the awkward service. My spouse ordered the all-day seafood soup, and somehow there was basically ZERO seafood in it. That alone was shocking because their soups used to be incredible. My father ordered the broiled platter, and the portion size was honestly embarrassing for a $29 dish. His parsley potatoes consisted of literally five tiny cubes - my mother counted them because we were in disbelief. We have eaten here for years and NEVER saw portions this small. I ordered the fish special, and it was nothing like described. It was supposed to have pecans and blackening seasoning. There were no pecans, no blackening seasoning, and the fish itself was dry, bland, overcooked, and flavorless. For $32, I was served what looked like a tiny sad pile of fish in the middle of a giant empty plate. The pork chop looked beautiful but tasted absolutely awful. At this point I honestly don't know if the kitchen quality has completely collapsed or if nobody is checking food before it leaves the line anymore. Either way, it was terrible. My mother ordered scallops on the half shell as her meal - something she has enjoyed there many times before. This time, the scallops were tiny and somehow greasy. It was shocking these dishes were even leaving the kitchen. What makes this so disappointing is that we truly loved this restaurant. We weren't casual customers. We supported this place for years because we believed the food and experience were worth it. This wasn't just a mediocre meal or an "off night." This was a genuinely terrible dining experience from start to finish, made worse by the fact that it happened on Mother's Day. The service felt awkward and disorganized, the portions were insulting, the food quality was awful, and there seemed to be zero quality control happening anywhere. At this point, our money will be supporting other establishments instead. It's honestly sad because this place USED to be special. I sincerely hope management fixes the kitchen, consistency, and overall professionalism before even more longtime customers walk away.
