Great neighborhood coffee spot. Nice vibe. There's a couch and chairs area, a few tables and a bar with stools. Friendly service and good basic espresso drinks and teas.

Love that the Flamingo opens at 7am... This was our first stop in and it was pleasant. The young lady working the bar was super friendly and offered great suggestions. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The matcha was a seasonal flavor of brown sugar, rosemary and orange ( I think )... wild combo of flavors... But all seems to work well together. The vibe was cozy and welcoming. Mix bag of clientele which is great!! The music was a little loud for my early morning brain, but the selection of music was awesome. I will return!!

I was looking for a new place to chill in the afternoons, because I got tired of the same ol same and I must say the Flamingo is pretty dope. The service and coffee were great and I will definitely be returning.

I could see myself frequenting this place if I lived here! I love that it's a coffee bar and a regular bar with TVs. As someone who doesn't drink often, being able to watch football with a coffee sounds like the perfect opportunity for me while friends can be drinking. I came in during a Jags game unexpectedly, and it was packed and super loud. The coffee was great and I would 100% come back!

Really cute little coffee shop. Multiple non dairy options. Parking is limited on the street in front.

WHAT A VIBE. We've been past The Flamingo multiple times and finally stopped in for an afternoon cold brew. I'm so glad we finally did because I am truly in love with this gem! Not super hidden but not super obvious, once you find it and walk inside you just feel happy and *good vibes only*. Super laid back and chill, this is a great spot to grab a coffee - or an adult beverage - and just hang out. Music playing was perfect and there's plenty of spots to sit and relax and enjoy yourself. Service was great - quick, efficient, and friendly. A perfect combo for a perfect coffee shop!

The Flamingo is a very cool, vibey coffee shop/bar. It's dimly lit with fun decorations and about 4 small tables, a sofa and a bar counter. The barista was nice and we got quick service. We ordered an oatmilk honey cold brew and a chai latte. We also got a delicious dark chocolate chip cookie with seat salt. The cold brew was good but the chai latte was not our favorite. There was too much milk and it tasted really bland and watered down. I thought this was a really cool spot. It's definitely not ideal for studying or work due to the low lighting and small tables. But it's a great place to chat and get a drink. They were also streaming some great TV shows.

So I'm not a big coffee guy but Ashley loves a local coffee shop so every time we find ourselves in Murray Hill we have to stop in. Now not being a coffee fan you would think The Flamingo has nothing for me but that's where your wrong. They have a few beers on tap and also have cans, bottles, and wine too. This time I get a bottle of their Orange Wine. I glass was if I remember correctly was $13 and the bottle was $28 so had to go for the bottle plus their were 4 of us so plenty to share with. The Flamingo is for a a good place to start your day when in Murray Hill.

I really like the vibe of the coffee bar, the baristas are super nice, coffee is legit and it's just overall a cute lil spot in Jax :)

The spro stole the show, absolutely deliciously sweet and complex, like a good tv rom com. I was engaged and entertained the whole time. The morning barista was also very kind & nice and made me feel at home. The music and vibes matched the moment... contemplative, thoughtful, very demure. I only wish I had more characters to opine over this wonderful lil shop. 10:10 would recommend to a friend or loved one.

We visited The Flamingo while in town for a conference. It has a throwback vibe, with some nice detailed, yet nonchalant, decor. They make their own syrups which is a win in my book. My hubby had a hot mocha, which he enjoyed. I had the iced lavender latte, and it was great! Aside from a legit coffee selection, they also serve beers and wine.

Cute little coffee shop with great personality! I came in killing time before an event and ordered the drip coffee. It was very good, a little bitter but not too much and I asked for no milk so it was perfect. It was $3.00 for a good size cup and the service was fantastic, attentive without being down our throats. They had three beers on draft, one basic beer, one IPA and one sour. This place is a total find and definitely worth stopping in and checking out!

I loved the chill vibe in here. Soft music, great lighting. You could sit at the bar, a couple high tops or a couch with some chairs. I stopped in for a matcha and it was fantastic! They whisk it authentically and you can add sweetners if you would like. They offer a variety of milk and non dairy options.

I ordered the Short Rib Hash Bowl without tomatoes. My only critique was that I could've used a little more short rib and a little less potatoes but I liked everything else about it. The onions brought a sweetness to it that was really unique and I REALLY liked the seasoning that was on the huge pieces of toast with it. My wife had the Breakfast Burrito, which I could've called from before we even walked in. If a place had a breakfast burrito, she's gonna order it. This one was great. There was a lot of good flavor packed into that tortilla. She especially liked the chili sauce on top. It had a little kick that elevated the whole thing. We both liked the environment and our server was very nice. We would come back for sure to try other things or just to hang out at the big outdoor bar at the front.

We went this past Friday and while they had the same great food (with one exception), same decor and vibe, it seemed as if the typically impeccable service was staring to slip. The staff was in a great mood, seemed to be having a party and maybe that was some of the issue. Drinks not filled, food brought out a different points when we asked for it to be brought together etc. One of the guests requested their sauce on the side and it came right on top of her cold steak. We had to constantly grab anyone who worked there to get help and get served or drink refills. Very atypical of Prospect. I'm reviewing again to be constructive. I still love Prospect and I need them to be the excellent experience they have always been. I'm truly hoping this was a one off afternoon.

However, after multiple visits, the overall experience has not matched the level of hype surrounding the restaurant. Portion sizes relative to pricing remain the primary concern, making the value feel uneven despite the appealing setting. I work in the area and have gone with several office mates. We've tried several dishes and sandwiches but still can't understand the extreme hype. I was told the Chorizo was spicy and it was so bland I felt like I was eating Hilshire Farms kielbasa. Pros: * Outdoor Dining - Pleasant outdoor dining area that provides a comfortable place to relax * Service - Consistently friendly service and a casual neighborhood feel * Variety - Menu crafted by highly regarded chef‑owners with strong culinary credentials * Location - Murray Hill location for a laid‑back meal or meet‑up * The best dish on the menu has been the pork sandwich - which is half a sub roll and plantain chips Cons: * Pricing - Pricing feels high for the portion sizes (e.g., three chicken legs at $23) * Expectations - Overall experience does not fully align with the restaurant's reputation * Some dishes feel more modest than expected given the cost Chancho King is a great place to unwind in the neighborhood, but the pricing-to-portion balance left me wanting more.

She made sure to check up on us, answered all of our questions, and refilled our drinks often. It was super clean there too! We were started off with some fresh, warm bread and a balsamic/olive oil dipping sauce. The bread was perfectly crispy and went so well with the dipping sauce. We were served cold bread before at restaurant so I'm glad we had warm bread! We decided on the following appetizer and entrees: Fried meat ravioli - 8/10: it came out piping hot and it was so delicious! Fried to a nice, golden brown and covered in panko crumbs, it didn't feel heavy at all. It came with a fresh marinara sauce and had parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the fried ravioli. Each bite was cheesy, crispy, tasty, meaty, and we devoured it quickly! Carbonara Alla Roma - 8.5/10: I thought the portion would be small since I seen photos online but it was actually a great portion. I had enough to take home and eat as leftovers! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the alfredo sauce was balanced and decadent. I could taste the pecorino romano, and cracked black pepper. The pancetta was smoky and added a nice umami flavor to the pasta. I didn't rate it higher because it was slightly missing a little bit of of that BAM factor! but it was pretty delicious! The Sofi - chicken - 9/10: Oh my gosh! My best friend got this and I wished I would have too! It was sooooooooooooooooooo good! It had prosciutto di parma, mushrooms, asparagus, shallots, cooked in wine and tossed in a rose cream sauce. The pasta was also cooked perfectly and that sauce was to die for! Each bite was like tasting the finest flavors and spices of Italy. I could not believe how tasty this was! If you come here, you HAVE to try this dish! Tiramisu - 9.5/10: One of the best tiramisus we've had in Jacksonville. It was the perfect amount of espresso and cream. They had dollops of chocolate sauce on the side and helped elevated the flavor of the tiramisu. It also wasn't super sweet which we appreciate. We don't really like overly sweet desserts and this one hits the mark on everything. Overall, service, food, and atmosphere was great! We would definitely come back to try other menu items!
