Located in the middle of a strip mall where Spirit Halloween is usually located. It's kind of hard to find because the sign only says COFFEE. The coffees are unique and delicious (slightly too sweet) with homemade whipped cream. I went on a Saturday morning and they had four vendors in the shop selling handmade items like clay keychains, greeting cards, and hand knit items. Really fun! This is so close to where I live, so why have I never been here? I don't really know, but sometimes you can miss the forest for the trees. Okay, here is where I come clean , so do t judge me. I have never ever had a cup of coffee and what sips I have were (in my mind) unpleasant. My wife disagrees and since we did not live together before we were married, when she discovered she would spend a lifetime drinking coffee alone, she quickly began researching annulments. Had fun trying out tetherball coffee! Got a coco shake, which was shaken espresso and coconut cream. It was delicious and the espresso I tasted was good but in my opinion I would have liked more espresso and less coco cream for a bit more balance. It was a little pricey but that seems to be the going rate. The ambiance was cute! It is fairly small inside with some seating, and it did feel crowded even with a few customers. I really appreciate that this place is kid friendly - my kids got a hot chocolate and they created a whole experience around the marshmallows and whipped cream and stirrer for them with sprinkles. Went into this little shop on a Sunday morning. Service was very friendly and helpful right away. They really seemed happy to be helping us. We ordered a Johnny Guavo (honey latte with guava jam & cheesecake foam!) and Coco Shake (shaken espresso with coconut mousse). Both were really, really good. All in all a very pleasant experience! I love Tetherball Coffee sooo much!! Everyone who works there are just the absolute nicest people! I first found Tetherball when I was doing the Jax Coffee & Donuts crawl and quickly realized I needed to become a regular there, which is easy to do when they serve some of the best drinks in town. Then you have their events - everything from Disney themed trivia, to maker's markets and even a pie contest! My mom actually won the pie contest with her Georgia Peach Pie, but we were ALL winners that night, because we got to eat like 18 different pies They have recently done a big rebrand, which, I'm not someone who likes change, but in this case, I don't hate it. The new mural is fabulous and they've managed to maximize their tiny space with the addition of benches, creating so much more seating. Be sure to follow them on socials, because they always post their specials, like their Carrot Cake Latte and the Sweet Corn Latte and since everything is made in house, they can run out quickly and you don't want to miss out! read more

This is a bit of a hike from my house, but this has been the best matcha lavender I've had and I've had a LOT in Jacksonville! I'm currently doing an October matcha crawl going around to different coffee shops I've never been to so I can work and try matcha. There is an option to use a reusable cup which I opted for and it looks like you get more. There is a nail salon on one side and dog place on the other. The nail salon smell was noticeable for the first few minutes and the walls are thick enough that the barking is pretty muted. The service was great! I love this coffee shop, I wish I lived closer! Anytime I'm in the area I like to stop by. The cafe is very bright and welcoming. The owner is very friendly as well. They have a very good cold brew that I get but in my recent visit I tried something off the seasonal menu and was very pleased. I got the pumpkin cold brew and it was fantastic. The flavors were not overly sweet, fake tasting, it was mildly sweet and REAL pumpkin. I loved it so much, I'm sure I'll be craving it once fall is over. My husband and I shared a sweet treat, the peanut butter blondie with jam in the middle. I was pretty crazy about that too, almost ate my half and his too lol. Half the coffee shops in Jacksonville do not require the baristas to make latte art which is super sad. There were a couple of people working on their laptops and the environment was quiet. Man O' Man, the day has finally come! My Northside rear end made it all the way to Tetherball coffee, Before 3pm too !!! If yall only knew how long this niche coffee shop has been on my list of places to stop in. And on the one year anniversary of their home made oat milk (which I had in my iced latte) Very delicious! From the eco friendly straws, to the unique seasonal menu items, fun & bright ambiance, to the lil quirks found in all the nook and crannies all over this local shop, it's got personality oozing out of every corner. On my visit today, I had the Honey Bear latte, iced, with oat milk. My drink had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. I would highly recommend this one if you haven't tried already. What do you call a Sad Coffee? A Depresso Well, all kidding aside, there is nothing depressing about the coffees at Tetherball Coffee. The menu is pretty simple and it is lead by a 2 headed coffee monster named Hopscotch and Double Dutch, which I highly recommend trying both. If you are a Chocolate lover, then try Double Dutch first. But if you are more on the Vanilla side, then go ahead and try their Hopscotch. Both are yummilicious. I like and prefer mines Iced but I am sure the Hot versions are equally as good. It is all about preference... tomato, toomahto. And while I have tried the other coffees and items on the menu, I just find myself coming back for the same 2 drinks. Addiction at its finest. Tetherball Coffee is located in the Mandarin area, so it is more convenient for me. The inside and décor is nice, clean and bright. A great spot to hang out and even meet up with friends. What a wonderful local coffee place that also has nice teas and of course some delicious pick up treats. The cookies are huge and the coffee is flavorful and bold without being bitter like that BIG place that everyone kinda goes to out of default. This is such a cute, adorable, and delightful coffee shop. It's a small one, but I love how clean, cozy, and spacious it looks. It gives off a nice peaceful vibe. The design inside is very simple and modern. The menu is easy to read and I love how there aren't too many choices to choose from. They also have some pastries to choose from (peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, key lime pie scones, and ube streusel muffins). When I first walked in the owner was dealing with an elder customer. From what I observed, he was very patient, respectful, and kind to listen and answer all of her questions. When I didnt know if I wanted an iced or a hot hopscotch I asked for his opinion and he recommended iced. So I got the iced hopscotch (vanilla caramel iced latte with whipped cream and crushed nilla wafers) and an ube streusel muffin. The iced hopscotch was delicious and had the perfect ratio of coffee to sweetness! I was worried that it would be too sweet for me, but it was just right! The ube muffin was soft, moist, and yummy.
