We dined in on a Sunday. The restaurant is clean and inviting. We opted for a turkey bacon ranch and avocado waffles as well as a side of fries. They are made to order which took a few minutes. The waffles are generously sized with plenty of fillings. They weren't overly sweet and lived up to their light and fluffy reputation. The fries were nicely seasoned and came out piping hot. Really nice shop in Mandarin, they have the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup which was AMAZING! My mouth still waters when I think of it. We spend a rainy afternoon trying some of their items and had a really nice cup of coffee! The staff was friendly, you can tell they are busy, they never stopped making orders. Stopped in at this waffle shop for an afternoon cup of coffee since I was in the area running errands and needed a cup of coffee to keep me going. While I did not order any of their delicious looking waffles, I did order a small cup of black drip coffee. It looks like they can also make espresso if you want that. The owner greeted me and took my order and provided me with a really hot cup of coffee. Once it cooled down, I was able to sip it and it a great robust full bodied flavor. While I got mine to go, the shop also allows for sipping in the store with nice ceramic mugs and small tables for conversation. Might give that a shot later on when I am with a friend. My friend and I wanted some ice cream and we were going to Whit's but saw this cute place and decided to check it out. The inside is super clean, comfortable, and customer service was friendly. They have a screen where you can order from. They have bubble waffles, Belgium waffles, ice cream, bubble tea, and you can get both savory and sweet waffles as well. The savory bubble waffles (stuffed with choices like meat, cheese, salami, oregano, tomatoes, etc.), were interesting and peaked my interest but we both decided on bubble waffles with ice cream and also a mini red velvet Belgium waffle. We both customized our waffles as well! I had banana cream pie ice cream on a flat bubble waffle (you can get it in a bubble waffle cone or flat) with whipped cream, fruity pebbles toppings, fresh strawberries, chocolate drizzle, and fresh bananas. It was delicious and the berries and bananas were fresh! I enjoyed the plain waffle (you can get it in cocoa, red velvet, or plain flavor) as it was crispy on the edges but bouncy and fluffy when you bite into it. It was a pretty big serving too! The banana cream ice cream was divine and didn't taste artificial at all. I enjoyed the waffle every much! I love fruity pebbles on ice cream because it gives it that fruity and crunchy. The whipped cream tied it all together and despite not that hungry, I ate the whole thing haha. My friend got a cocoa waffle with Oreos, Twix?, cookies and cream ice cream, and chocolate drizzle on top and she said it was really delicious. She finished hers as well. We shared a mini red velvet Belgium waffle with a white chocolate drizzle on top and it was really tasty. The waffle was fluffy and the red velvet flavor wasn't too sweet, even with the white chocolate drizzle on top. It was like $2.50 for a mini waffle. I'm knocking out one star because it can get a bit pricey. For two waffles, a sweet tea, and a mini waffle it was like $38. The waffles without any toppings or ice cream starts at $5.99 and as you customize them, it adds up. Whipped cream was like $2.00 and most of the toppings were too. The waffles themselves were big but still on the pricier side. They make the waffles fresh so there is some wait time. They only have disposable spoons while the forks and knives aren't. Overall, it's a pretty cute and decent place. If I'm around the area, I would stop by again and try other things like their waffle sticks and bubble tea. Maybe even a savory waffle but this is more so of like a treat yourself kind of deal. read more

I was able to bring my son here after a morning out walking. It was quiet when we walked in, but the atmosphere is fun and peaceful. The owner welcomed us while he was making another customer's order, and he told us we could order from the kiosk. He has a variety of sandwiches, waffles, specialty drinks, even Dubai chocolate items. I ordered a mini Dubai chocolate waffle to share and a plain waffle with strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream on top. Everything is made to order, and the strawberries and bananas were fresh. The Dubai chocolate is creamy with the right amount of pistachios and kadayif. The waffle was big, but not super filling. My son wanted to eat all the whipped cream! They have bathrooms with a changing table in the women's restroom, and plenty of seating including woven swing chairs. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program. read more

My daughter really enjoyed her bubble waffle cone with cookies and cream ice cream, topped with Reese's cups. My husband had to fight me and the baby off his frutos del bosque berry packed Belgian waffle that had yummy white chocolate drizzled on top. That was so good. The knafeh waffle was very unique with bubble waffle wrapped around sweet cheese that was battered and fried. Yum. Highly recommend Magic waffle!!!! We made a special trip out this morning and it was absolutely worth it. I have to eat gluten free and so the waffle is gluten free. I am SO IMPRESSED with the texture. It's light and airy, substantial enough to be a good shell for hearty fillings and crispy on the outside while maintaining soft sponge on the inside. The fillings are generous and the options are diverse and interesting. I was really craving breakfast so this is standard breakfast wrap filling - bacon, ham, eggs and provolone cheese. It was heavenly. I'm completely full (and split the waffle with my husband) but I already want to go back! There are interesting options like a hummus waffle and a labneh waffle. The coffee is also both expected and exciting. There are two coffees that have cardamom, and I highly suggest trying that! I enjoyed it so much that I may add cardamom to my coffee at home. It's a warm cozy flavor that goes well in lattes. My magic latte was on the sweet side and I prefer a very low sweetness level, so I'll play with the pumps of vanilla or try the Turkish coffee. The staff are friendly and professional. I wasn't much in the mood for talking today and they were courteous without being overbearing. When I asked questions they were friendly and chatty. Needed a good sandwich for brunch and ended up getting one with a twist. I got a 12 oz Magic Coffee (double shot of espresso, vanilla, cardamom, milk, low-fat milk in my case) and a Magic Breakfast Waffle (egg, ham, bacon, provolone cheese, egg waffle) The breakfast waffle in a shape of a taco with breakfast filling. I was surprised how well it worked together. The waffle wasn't really sweet so I could enjoy the savoriness of the egg, cheese, and meat. I appreciated the fact that they offered provolone cheese as an option. American just doesn't do it for me. I also didn't add any customizations like lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard...black olives? I should've added black olives because I do love them. The coffee was actually realllllly good. I normally would get one with lavender syrup but this was a really good substitute. I've heard nothing but goods things about Magical Waffle so I had to check it out. And I must say it was everything people have been saying and more. Once you walk in you just feel right on the decision you made to go there. The staff greeted us upon entrance. The decor to the place was on point and brand new. I read somewhere that the lights to an establishment can really make hungry and the lights for Magical Waffle makes you hungry (LoL). My GF and I tried the waffle stick and a regular waffle. The waffle stick was a Chocolate Waffle Stick with white chocolate drizzle with Oreo and Cocoa Puffs. Let me tell you even after typing that I my mouth instantly watered up just like it did when it was placed in front of me. The white chocolate drizzle was everything on top of the warmth of the waffle which the drizzle just melted into every bite I took of the waffle. I'm a Oreos and Cocoa Puffs kind of guy and those adds to the waffle made it heavenly for me. My Gf ordered the regular full waffle with white chocolate drizzle with brownie and Reese's peanut butter cups. She's a Peanut butter fan so the Reese's was everything for her. But if you're a white chocolate fan I have to recommend the white chocolate drizzle because it's the extra yummy-ness to the waffle. With every bite you have an explosion of hot waffle with chocolate and peanut butter flavor. I had to wrestle a bite away from her and that one bite was orgasmic. I shouldn't even give it 2 based on this order. The cup was around $15 and a 2$ tip. Don't like to do that before trying the food but I felt pressed. I'd gone to the store when it first opened and the strawberry cup was Fresh but this time (2nd time there bc I thought it was pricey). The place felt not as clean as before. Like it hadn't been kept up as good as it could have been, for the prices. HOWEVER, I got the cup to go so driving down the road I bit I to the chocolate and strawberry and it didn't taste the way I remembered it from before. Just didn't taste fresh a couple of more bites and I realize the strawberries were not sweet. I figured they were old and I didn't want to eat them because of the price I called the store to let them know that there's no way they could have not known they gave me bad strawberries. But the phone call won't go through. There is no way to reach the store at least not that day. When I got home, I took the strawberries out and rinse them off and put them on a plate because they seem to have some sort of stringy fibrous feel to them and sure enough they are that old. The employees were nice and helpful. I've passed by this place before and glad I got a chance to stop in today. I'm a waffle lover so this is the perfect place for me. I ordered the Magic breakfast waffle that includes a fried egg, provolone cheese, bacon and I added avocado. It comes with ham as well but I figured the bacon would be enough. I was right. The bacon was thick and crispy. The avocado was fresh. It didn't take very long for the waffle or the coffee order. I did order the caramel macchiato. It wasn't as sweet as I would like. There was powered sugar shaker at the table. It helped a little but not much. There is room to eat in the restaurant but not much so it would be best for a few friends or take out. Newly opened on Saturday (11/5/22) is Magic Waffle, a new shop in the Mandarin area side of town. What's unique about this shop is they offer a lot more than your average Waffle & Boba shop. Just went here for dessert. Bubble waffle is light and delicious. Ice cream good--I really liked the mango ice cream which did not taste artificial. Husband and son got extras on their their waffle cones and they surprisingly finished it all (see pics). My DIL had a vanilla milkshake which had real vanilla beans. Service was quick but not overly friendly (maybe just need to smile more). Decor simple but clean. The only thing negative was how quickly everything adds up if you get extra toppings. Waffles were really delicious and I loved that they can accommodate for those that are gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. It's important to find places that you can confidently eat with safety in mind. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars was the space to eat. Not enough tables to accommodate brunch hour and I was asked to move to another table while eating to accommodate a large group coming in.
