Sapori Authentic Sapori Italian Restaurant is the kind of place you go when you're craving real, authentic Italian flavors instead of the usual chain-restaurant version. Dishes feel straight out of a family kitchen in Italy. Service is warm and welcoming, adding to the relaxed, family-style vibe. Adorable little cafe with delicious sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. We went here for a book club event (bedazzling our books) that the restaurant graciously allowed us to hold. I ordered a tomato, fresh mozzarella and pesto panini with a pellegrino and it was so good. I didn't have dessert but two of the other attendees did and raved about it. Definitely want to come back to enjoy some Coffee and treats!
Customer service was good. The pastries looked delicious. I tried the cream puff, lobster tail and pistachio crossiant. The cream puff light and creamy Lobster tail was flaky but the ends was too crispy. Also with the crossiant, the ends were too crispy. I will definitely go back again to give other items a try. I had a French vanilla latte. It first came out in a glass which was too hot for me to grab to drink. I had to ask to be put into a mug. But the manager came out and was checking on the guest and cleaning tables which I love to see.
When I searched for a espresso shop nearby and saw this name pop up on my navigation, I knew it was gonna be good. SAPORI café is like you're in Italy. The pastries are so authentic and fresh with such great varieties. The coffee is on point with awesome aesthetics. I love how they sell products as well such as different flavors of panettone. We will definitely be back and can't wait to take friends and family.
Fairly plain little shop with a good amount of seating, including a couple of tables outside. Very friendly owners that love talking about Italy. I didn't try any of the food items but they looked so good! Will definitely be back for that. I ordered a hot Amaretto caffelatte and was given a choice of cups, which I like. Drink was very tasty with the perfect amount of sweetness. Parking is very easy here.
I finally got to try this place!! Been wanting to go for a while but never had time. So on my day off my friend and I came here. Place has lots of parking spot, so no need to stress about parking. Place is small, but adorable, clean, and modern. I ordered the cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso, a pesto, mozzarella, ham sandwich with tomatoes and arugula, and a little dessert. The cappuccino was delicious and the sandwich was yummy in my tummy!!! I love their bread! It had such a nice crunch and texture to it. I also enjoyed the cream pastry. It was great paired with the coffee. Everything was amazing. From the staff, to the coffee, and food. I loved it and will colw back here again.

An absolute gem!! While the decor keeps things simple and charming without any pretense, the real magic happens with every single bite and sip. The food here is truly extraordinary. I was thrilled to find bombolones - these Italian donuts are practically impossible to find in Jacksonville, and theirs were perfection. The croissant achieved that ideal flaky texture that so many places struggle with, practically melting in my mouth with each layer. We couldn't resist trying two of their cakes, and I'm so glad we did. Both were impeccably balanced - not too sweet. But the real showstopper was the tiramisu latte. What truly elevated the experience was the owner's genuine passion and knowledge. They took the time to explain each item. His helpfulness and warmth made us feel like welcomed guests rather than just customers. Sapori Cafe proves that you don't need flashy decor when your food speaks this eloquently. This is authentic Italian craftsmanship in the heart of Jacksonville.
I just found out about this place yesterday so I had to make the stuff. OMG the pastry was perfect. This may be my first trip here, but it won't be my last as a Realtor ® it will be a great place to bring customers.
I dropped in to Sapori Caffè after hearing such great things about this local, family-owned Italian coffee shop and bakery. Go ahead and add this to the growing list of rave reviews, it's well deserved. Located in the heart of Mandarin along San Jose Blvd. (same building as Clara's Tidbits), Sapori Caffè is the perfect "cozy coffee shop" getaway for those craving something out of the ordinary. I was taken aback by their large selection of both coffee and non-coffee based drinks, as well as the scrumptious Italian pastries beckoning from the glass case. The decor is minimalistic, but warm and welcoming, with enough seating for brunch with the besties. Noms: Decisions, decisions. I could go on and on about the variety of goodies, but that would take all day. Bring an appetite and come savor the experience. Pistachio Cake: This was the LIGHTEST cake that I've EVER eaten. It was like biting into a cloud, and in a very good way. It didn't have the overly-sweet "artificial" Pistachio pudding flavor, which brought it to the next level for me. Bomboloni with Nutella: You can choose from a variety of fillings for your Bomboloni, and I'm a HUGE Nutella fan, so that was the obvious choice for my first visit. Absolutely delicious, soft, doughy goodness, and I look forward to trying the other fillings on future visits. Italian Hot Chocolate: Its very rich....like...RICH. The "Elon Musk" of hot chocolates. Don't get me wrong, the flavor is on point, this ain't Swiss Miss territory, it's the REAL deal. And So: GO HERE, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Sapori has a small menu, but the sandwiches are delicious! They don't look very exciting, but everything is really fresh and the bread is perfectly toasted. Just like the sandwiches, the restaurant isn't super exciting to look at, but it's clean, which is most important. Not super happy about the price (2 sandwiches + 1 iced coffee + 1 sanpelegrino was $40), but everything is expensive these days.
Lovely Cafe that transports you straight into Italy! Same owners as the crepe place in the avenues! We started with a little of everything, a cornetto which is very similar to a croissant it was airy and buttery! Cappuccino was so silky and creamy! Then the focaccio sandwich was delicious! It was crunchy on the exterior bread but light on the inside, really enjoyed, can't wait to head to Italy for more options on this sandwich! Great taste of Italy here in jax

I have visited this amazing Italian cafe so many times, and they never disappoint me. The owners are actually from Italy, so you will hear them speaking Italian. The owner, Massi, is such a nice guy and loves to tell funny jokes. His wife, Sabrina, isn't always there, but she is the sweetest and always provides my family with the best customer service. Because I have been raving about this place so much, all my relatives love it and go there regularly (yes, they go every weekend). Please don't expect Starbucks drinks from there. They serve authentic Italian style coffee, so you will get a hot caffe latte in a tall glass. The macchiato will be in a small espresso cup. Try their hot cappuccino with whole milk so you can experience the authentic way of making cappuccino (they only use one shot of espresso, and they said that's the Italian way!). Italian hot chocolate is also a favorite among European customers. Sandwiches are always great, and my favorite is prosciutto, arugula, Parmesan cheese, and tomato. It's a perfect spot to gather with friends or family. This cafe is a must try. These pictures are from multiple visits within three years. read more

I bit into the Cornetto (croissant in Italian) and said "holy shit that's good". I stopped in for a quick cappuccino and a snack as I was on my way to an event, I got it to go. The cappuccino was so tasty, it didn't need anything added to it. The woman behind the counter recommended the Nutella Cornetto as I was looking and I'm so glad she did! They have a variety of coffees, a fridge of Italian drinks and to go goodies. A handful of tables if you have the time to sit and enjoy. I'll be back for that Tiramisu! read more

My husband literally said "wow" as he bit into the chocolate croissant. For context: this man is a crusty sailor who doesn't even like croissants. He once spent a deployment in Somalia with the team attempting to see who could get the closest to eating raw steak . But this croissant? It broke him. He looked at me like the croissant had just rewritten his life story. And then there was the baguette. Not just bread--a baguette. Crisp, golden, the kind that makes you feel like you should be strolling down the Seine even if you're really just in the Publix parking lot. Easily the best baguette I've ever had. The service? As warm as the bread fresh from the oven. The ambiance? Effortlessly inviting. 10/10. Great service, great food, great ambiance. My husband will go back for the croissants. I'll go back for the baguette. And together, we'll pretend we're classy people who belong in Paris instead of Florida. read more

So glad we stopped by today! It was so busy, but we received our coffee and food within 5 minutes. I highly recommend the Ham and rosemary panini and a latte. They use very high quality and fresh ingredients so everything tastes so fresh and authentic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The store was easy to navigate and clean. I hope to grab one of the beautiful pastries they have on display next time I stop by....hopefully very soon! read more

My son and I stopped in here to explore the goodness. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, the you get to taste what was in the picture and all conversation stops. This was a fantastic experience for us. Highly recommended. read more
Love this new coffee shop! They are the same owners of Le Crepes and Dolce Amaro Caffe at The Avenues Mall. Owners are Italian so you know you will get great tasting coffee. We have been here twice already and enjoyed both visits. Tried their Iced and Hot Latte and both were good. But I would say the Cappuccino is their specialty, Smooth intense coffee and with just the right amount of foam, we loved it! Their croissant is soft and flaky goodness! And lastly, I ordered their sandwich which has prosciutto, arugula, tomato and parmiggiano in a French baguette! So delicious! Do come and check out this place. It can get busy but they have plenty of tables to accommodate people. read more
I have been chasing the high of drinking coffee in Italy since my last visit in September. This is as close as you will get in Jacksonville, hands down. I wanted to just try a basic caffe latte and a pastry at this cute little new spot. I got a vanilla flavored iced caffe latte and it had me wishing I had gotten just an espresso. The coffee was brewed to perfection here and it would have been incredible on its own. The vanilla latte portion was a nice little treat. I also tried a bombolone (they had just brought a fresh tray out!). A decadent donut experience. The cream was perfect. The donut was so fluffy and light. I will be having dreams of it most likely. My friend tried the tiramisu caffe latte - a little too sweet for me but still delicious. Perfect if you are into sweet coffee drinks. She also had a slice of pistachio pie( cake?). Another pastry perfection. Tasted fresh also. The service was also fantastic. Super nice people. It was a little slow because they were busy - but you can't rush perfection. I will 100% be returning to try more coffees, pastries, and definitely sandwiches. Yummmm! read more

Great place to stop in for a coffee! I got a hazelnut cappuccino, it was delicious and hit the spot when I was in need of a mid day pick me up. The pastries look amazing and one day I will have to go back and try some. Great little cafe to have a cuppa and catch up with a friend! read more
If I can give this bakery 10 stars I would! they definitely deserve it! the service the quality of food is top notch! I have been wanting to go here for months since I heard only great things about this place. They are open 7 days a week. and they open at 8 am which I love because I am a morning person. Finally, on a Saturday I decided to go here, this bakery is located in San Jose. A little hike for me but I it is definitely worth the drive. this bakery is located where tidbits are and apartment complex but they are on the other side of the apartment complex. They do have plenty of parking space which is a plus for me! I got there around 8:30, they have plenty of tables and chairs inside. The menu has a lot of options but not overwhelming. I ordered the Tiramisu latte and the bombolone alla crema and it was amazing! I feel like I was eating somewhere in Europe. The bombolone alla crema was soft and the crema inside was so smooth and the sweetness was just perfect! The Tiramisu latte was so good that I have to stop myself from drinking the whole thing in less than 3 minutes. Service was great! and I told my husband that I will definitely be back here soon! if you have not been here you have to check this gem at san jose! read more

Fantastic! Finally a place on Jacksonville that offers Italian pastries and my ultimate favorite Sfogliatelle. Everything I tried was so tasty from my cappuccino to Cornette di Pistachio. The star was still the Sfogliatelle with a great crunch and citrus ricotta filling. Definitely will be back for more and more. read more

Absolutely love this place so much the owner is a sweet man who will hand you your drink and ask you if it's too sweet or too strong, have you take a sip so you leave happy ! my boyfriend tried their cheesecake and said it was bomb! as a coffee snob the lattes there are so good, i got the chocolate hazelnut with oat milk and it's so good every time! read more
Was finally in the area and had the chance to stop by this cafe. It was crowded inside with two large tables filled and a few smaller ones too. Decided to grab some treats to go but making a plan to dine in soon. Service was friendly and fast. As a born and raised New Yorker who is half Italian, I have pretty high expectations of Italian pastries and desserts. I decided on three items from their cases- a mini lobster tail, a slice of cannoli cake, and a cream filled bombaloni. The mini lobster tail is my favorite Sfogliatella filled with a delicious custard cream. It was perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside, with a dusting of powdered sugar and a generous amount of cream inside. Just the right size for a treat! The cannoli cake was very good, I loved the authentic cannoli filling with bits of candied citron but I think the cannoli filling layer could be a bit taller. The crust of the cake/pie slice was almost as thick as the filling. The bombaloni was the softest, pillow like donut, filled with just the right amount custard cream. I look forward to returning to try their sandwich options, coffees and more dessert items. read more

New coffee place in San Jose Blvd. We just found out that this is their second location, and it just opened about two weeks ago. Highly recommended, love their coffee and pastries. Although I would love to have more cream on the the croissants but other than that, it was fresh, and the cashier said they just came out of the oven. Ricotta pie with the hint of orange zest was so good. Not overly sweet, and it's a good pair with their tiramisu coffee. It was so good. I love Bacio coffee. The place is spacious and there's plenty of tables and chairs. We went on a sunday afternoon one hour before they closed and there were a lot of people. read more

4 Stars for higher prices! I paid more at the register when the owner charged me and he said he'll change the menu. Prices are high you are paying $15 for a Small coffee & 1 Small thinly sliced cake. Minimum wage is $12 in Florida you're paying NY or California prices. read more
