    Aloha Waffle Latte
    Lynna I.

I've been having a craving for a Kona coffee for awhile now. Then I remember being told by friends about this place. I ordered at the register, but they do have two kiosks you can place your order in but it was already occupied. The girl at the register was very friendly and helpful after I told her it was my first time here. I didn't want anything too heavy that morning, so I just opted for the aloha waffle with an aloha iced latte. Both tasted great. I definitely want to try a savory or dessert waffle the next time I come here.

I remember going to the other location a few years ago and I really enjoying the concept and the food. As I was looking up a place to take my daughter for brunch, I saw that they now have a location at the beach. So we headed there to try the food. They shared that there are a few differences between the original location and this one, such as the offering of brisket here. I looked at the kids menu first and saw that they had a build your own waffle (Shaka) so we opted for that. And I found a low carb item on the menu - the bubble omelette, which was filled with cheese and bacon and topped with avocado. The bubble egg omelette looked like the bubble waffle and was tasty. The waffle was really good and the toppings were plentiful. My only issue was that the waffle was way too big for a kid. The staff were quick to tell me that the kids waffles are the same size as the adults. If so, then why have a kids menu? Just add the two other offerings - grilled cheese and PB&J to the regular menu. Or, offer kids the mini waffles that are on the menu as an option for a savory meal. The place is cute with an island vibe and they have small table top games that can be borrowed. On Sundays they offer Disney bingo at this location.

I visited the new Aloha Waffle Bar location in Jax Beach last week. Love the beachy decor and vibe plus my waffle was fantastic! I got The Brunch Waffle which is described as "an island style Monte Cristo" with turkey. The other protein options are ham or spam. When I tell you it hit the spot, believe me! I enjoy Kona coffee so I went with the Aloha Latte, half sweet (love that option!) plus white mocha syrup. I wasn't a fan of the syrup unfortunately, so next visit I'll definitely skip it so I can fully enjoy the Kona flavor. Another highlight of the visit was Ethan, one of the staff members. He brought my waffle to the table & was so friendly and helpful. I watched him approach the other tables with the same enthusiasm, and he checked in with me to ensure I was happy with my order. I had to get his name to give him a proper shout out.

Stopped here for our Sunday Morning Brunch. Got the chicken and waffles breakfast and Deviled Egg Waffle. Everything was tasty and was made fresh. The place is cute, with lots of savory, sweet, coffee and ice cream options. A little bit of something for everyone! Highly recommend.

They're currently in their soft opening at the beaches location, so the "full" menu is not available yet. But, what IS available is still a LOT of options! So don't wait! Just as delicious as I remember from their first location near the airport! My favorite part is that it's not too sweet, just the right amount. Aaaaaannnddd they have savory options, not just sweet. My favorite! And, helloooooo, bubble waffles are just fun to eat even by itself! Thanks for opening a beaches location! Place is cute yet spacious. They're still working out the kinks with the new kiosk for ordering, but you can also order at the register - speak to a live person. Hehe. Everyone there is friendly and ready to serve. Thank you! I got the Turkey Bacon Ranch Melt Waffle and a Shaka Waffle (create your own) - I added blueberries, strawberries, banana, and Nutella drizzle. Blueberries ended up being in the waffle mix, so that was cool, too. They give you syrup to add, but I like eating it without. Everything was scrumptious. Pulling the bubbles apart to eat them individually is fun. My fam tried the Chicken N' Waffles and the Avocado Egg Toast Waffle. Those were yum. And we tried the chicken with the house-made honey mustard and then with syrup, Nashville Hot sauce, and a mix of both syrup and hot sauce (sweet and spicy)! All SO good! Drinks were: - Kuki Butter Latte (hot) with almond milk and half sweet. - Matcha Green Milk Tea with Almond Milk, iced, and half sweet. - Taro Milk Tea with pearls and half sweet. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. Thank you! Oh and if we get enough requests, maybe they'll open on Monday! Hahahaha (ask them the story - everywhere at the beach is closed that day!) Aloha!

We finally stopped by Aloha Waffle Bar near Jacksonville Beach, and their unique Hawaiian-style bubble waffles and fresh Kona coffee make it a great local dessert spot. The bubble waffle we ordered was incredibly good, and we loved that the space was super clean and roomy for customers to relax. What really stood out to us, though, was how genuinely friendly and attentive the staff were, definitely recommend stopping by this one. (REEL on my TikTok & IG page: @eddynguyenrealtor)

This place is underrated in my opinion. It is a local brunch restaurant on Beach Blvd and the service was great! I didn't get the girl's name at the counter but she was very sweet and answered my questions patiently as it was our first time going. The vibe was very Hawaiian chic, comfortable and calming. Allowed us to sit anywhere we'd like and brought the food to our table. (They did also have high chairs for kids available as well.) Took a little longer for our food but only because they started receiving more customers at once. The food at 10/10 and price was reasonable for the quality and quantity. For all four items below it came out to around $43 and change. Very flavorful and truly unique! Would recommend this spot to family and friends!

    Delicious tea options..so faaaaancy!

Met a friend for brunch on my first visit here. Very cute and super clean. Not to mention that it is right in my neighborhood! The staff are amazing, offering to answer any questions and the owner came out to say hello and check on us. I have to say that the quality, preparation and presentation of these dishes is top notch. I love that there are both sweet and savory options in the memu AND you can add almost any ingredient to your order! The options for teas and coffees is incredible. I enjoyed the 3BLT and hibiscus tea latte...mmmmmmm yum! You need to check them out because the hardest thing you will do is decide what to order!

We found Aloha Waffle (River City Market Place) while looking for a late breakfast/early lunch spot Thursday near JIA*. The food and service were fantastic! We're talking excellent quality; in house, made from scratch cooking. Don't be fooled by any other "bubble waffle" concept. Aloha Waffle (only two locations) has perfected their batter and technique, sourcing their flour and equipment until they found just the right kind to create the consistency and flavor they were looking for from their world travel experience. This is not premade batter out of a box. Also,The Kona coffee they serve will take you back to one of your favorite trips to Hawaii! Man is it good!!! Pull up their menu, there's something for everyone; sweet, savory, sandwiches, salads, coffee, boba tea, soft serve, they've got you covered! *Imagine how pleased we were to learn they had just opened a sister location closer to our home in Jax Beach (Beach & Penman) one month ago! So, we love the food, service and concept so much we ate there again today (Sunday) and you're likely to see us there again very soon, we love it that much! See everyone there!!!

10/10 ! As I was driving by I seen "aloha" from the road and being a local from Hawaii I needed to see what was going on in there . The staff was incredibly friendly , manager came up to us as well to make sure everything was going good. We tried 2 waffles , fries, and I was hesitant but after conversation with the girl behind counter she sold me on the hazelnut Nutella latte ! Absolutely amazing. Will be back

Aloha Waffle. So good and the fruit is fresh! Also, loved that the whipped cream is not super sweet and doesn't taste artificial.

I stopped in to check out Aloha Waffle Bar and was very glad I did! The place is very cute, the service was amazing, and the waffle was sooo good! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. She explained they had a physical menu, barcode scanner menu, or a tablet menu with pictures, depending on your preference. You can order at the register, on your phone, or on the tablet. I think this is very thoughtful! I started at the tablet menu so I could see pictures, but ended up ordering with her at the register because I'd also been asking questions. One I ordered, I grabbed a seat and my order was brought out once ready. I ordered an Aloha Waffle and a brown sugar shaken espresso. They were both amazing. When deciding what to order, I noted I don't like super sweet things but I did have a sweet tooth. The Aloha waffle was the perfect recommendation. The waffle and whipped cream had just the right level of sweetness and the fresh fruit created the perfect balance. She also recommended I get half the brown sugar pumps they normal put in the shaken espresso and she was spot on with that recommendation as well. They checked on me a couple of times while I enjoyed and it was an overall great experience. I can't wait to go again and try a savory waffle!

However, I had to do a review on this particular location in Jax Beach area. I recently went to Jacksonville and found an abundant of Mom and pops as well as small chains to check out. Not only am I into Tacos, I like quite a few other things as well, including coffee. My wife tells me I'm a coffee snob. I laugh and say, no, I just have high standards. . Anyway, I recently got into Cold Brews, especially organic sourced from one location. When I went to Jacksonville and looked up best coffee houses for what I was looking for, Bold Bean showed up on my list. Therefore, I had to try it. Unfortunately, something happened to some of my pictures. At least, I have this picture of my wife and that's what counts. Food/Drink: I ordered an Organic Cold Brew and believe or not, it was very reasonably priced, I want to say $3.50. This was my 4th time ordering cold brew and it was the best one I ever had so far at this point. Smooth and you can taste the earthy notes. No fruity taste and that's what I liked about it too. It was a solid A for me. 5 stars Service: The staff greeted all patrons with smiles and ready to serve you. Everything was being run smoothly here. One of the employees had a rocker shirt and we had something in common. He found out I was from California and I researched this place and it was one of the places in had to try. Therefore, he comped me the cold brew even though I insisted on paying. Ambience: Place is very clean, and aesthetically has a warm welcome feeling to it with nice background music so you can have no problem chatting, working on your lap top, playing games on your phone or chilling. Therefore, come on down to Jax Beach Bold Bean Roasters and you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

At the time, Mayport Cats was the branch that handled the feral cat colonies out by Mayport Base (TNR, feeding, vet care & evaluation to see if any could be placed for adoption). My aunt occasionally volunteered and contacted us about a 9mth kitten, that had delivered her own litter of kittens and was available for adoption but had been overlooked at several adoption events. My husband and I went to meet Clover, we immediately knew she'd be the perfect fit for our daughter (and boy oh boy has she been) and brought her home that day. Included in her paperwork was information about The Caffeinated Cat and our entire family was so excited to learn such a place existed. Several of our children have chosen to make donations of food, toys and treats (for the kitty residents of the cafe) for their birthdays and other milestones vs receiving gifts......and of course, we always procure some human treats for ourselves while there. Lastly, they stepped up and stepped in when we were experiencing a situation with a stray that had been dumped in our neighborhood (unfortunately it's quite common here). He was a stunning muted Siamese that adored people and dogs, but seemingly hated other cats although it seems that particular trait was due to the stress of being dumped and insecure (once he was no longer a "stray" the issue resolved)my kids named him Pig due to his pink nose. I was caring for him but couldn't bring him into our home, as he kept charging the glass door, hissing and growling every time one of our cats walked by. Sadly, he showed up badly injured one morning.....after an obvious fight with another cat, seemingly having lost his eye. I was heartbroken for him, I knew he needed to belong to someone.....he was not feral nor adjusting to the lifestyle well and that point seriously injured. I contacted Mayport Cats/The Caffeinated Cat with the hope of getting some guidance/advice but they instead offered to take him into their care. He was renamed "Merlin" because his eye somehow magically reappeared after being seemingly gone for 3 days and he healed beautifully, I'm not sure if he's still a resident or has been adopted but The Caffeinated Cat is an amazing place, that offers a unique experience that benefits our community ....If you are a cat or animal lover, you should definitely stop by, grab a drink and pet a fur baby! **Including photos of Clover and Pig aka Merlin

Once that was handled, Nancy introduced Judy to the regulars, making her feel completely at home. Judy ordered a delicious latte and some gluten-free baked goods -- both were outstanding.
