We visited Aloha Waffle Bar after church. We wanted something relatively quick and where we could order at the counter. When we arrived they were pretty packed, so I was worried we may not get a table. Luckily there was one open table in the back, so we sat down. This location is in a strip mall after crossing the intracoastal bridge. There is plenty of parking available. You can either order at the counter or order via a tablet. I opted to order from a tablet. I ordered a shaken espresso half sweet iced with almond milk, and a pb and j waffle. I will say their coffee is pretty pricey, but I needed caffeine. My order came out hot. The waffle was crisp and the topping was delicious. It was a great combo of the peanut butter and the raspberry jelly. The coffee was robust with just enough sweetness. I'll be back.
My husband suggested we try this place after voting early at the library on A1a. It was a great idea because it was so good. Erin opened the door for us as the first customers at 9 am and was very friendly and helpful. I went with one of the special coffees on the board outside, the pumpkin spice latte and it was perfect. For my breakfast I had the monkey's uncle waffle and absolutely loved it. It was a good size bubble waffle with peanut butter, banana slices, and bacon strips, along with a side cup of maple syrup. I loved every last bite of it. My husband got the Aloha waffle. It had strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream on a folded bubble waffle. He also loved his meal. Erin also gave us loyalty cards to use on future return visits. The ambiance gave Hawaii vibes.
We tried the ...Maui tea macchiato, Americano coffee, Chicken Sammie waffle, Avocado egg toast waffle. Would order all again! FANTASTIC Loved them all what a gem we stumbled upon! Food was fresh and tasty, order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Plenty of seats. Great menu and good vibes
A few weeks ago, Aloha Waffle Bar in Jacksonville Beach was fighting to stay open. After owner Melissa Endrina shared an emotional video, the community showed up, and now the place is absolutely buzzing. I ordered The Monkey's Uncle with a marbled original and ube bubble waffle, topped with bananas, strawberries, bacon, peanut butter drizzle, and maple syrup. Crispy, airy, sweet, salty, and everything you want in a brunch waffle. My wife tried the Bubble Egg Omelette, cooked in a bubble waffle iron with bacon, cheese, avocado, and everything bagel seasoning. A fun and surprisingly delicious twist on a classic omelette. The social media brought people through the door. The food will keep them coming back. Support local. This is such a great breakfast spot. It's quick and perfect for people with kids, even young kids. Plenty to do while waiting for food including a variety of games and such a pretty place to look at. I love the beachy pineapple vibes. The staff really care about the customers and are so friendly and personable. The person that rang me up today remembered me from months ago! The food is so fun and delicious. I'll keep coming back for sure! They currently have Clipp offers, but even if they run out, SO worth the visit!
When I heard that they had Kona coffee on insta I was all in. I just needed to figure out when I wanted to go. Ah, who was I kidding? I'm getting it delivered. My babe was off so I ordered him the Iced 16oz Aloha Waffle Latte with Almond Milk, Cold Foam, but made it Half Sweet. For myself, I got the Lavender Kona Latte, Blended, Oat Milk, No Whip. When we got these they weren't individually labeled so we kinda had to guess which drink was which. But on the plus size we got to taste each others' drinks and they were potent. That's why I love Kona coffee, it's a punch to the face. I also got a Breakfast Waffle as I needed to eat something. The Havarti cheese is what got me and I paired that with Spam. Absolutely delicious! I couldn't eat it all so I split it with my hubby-to-be and even he said that it was delicious. Definitely want to get more from here.

I remember going to the other location a few years ago and I really enjoying the concept and the food. As I was looking up a place to take my daughter for brunch, I saw that they now have a location at the beach. So we headed there to try the food. They shared that there are a few differences between the original location and this one, such as the offering of brisket here. I looked at the kids menu first and saw that they had a build your own waffle (Shaka) so we opted for that. And I found a low carb item on the menu - the bubble omelette, which was filled with cheese and bacon and topped with avocado. The bubble egg omelette looked like the bubble waffle and was tasty. The waffle was really good and the toppings were plentiful. My only issue was that the waffle was way too big for a kid. The staff were quick to tell me that the kids waffles are the same size as the adults. If so, then why have a kids menu? Just add the two other offerings - grilled cheese and PB&J to the regular menu. Or, offer kids the mini waffles that are on the menu as an option for a savory meal. The place is cute with an island vibe and they have small table top games that can be borrowed. On Sundays they offer Disney bingo at this location.
I've been having a craving for a Kona coffee for awhile now. Then I remember being told by friends about this place. I ordered at the register, but they do have two kiosks you can place your order in but it was already occupied. The girl at the register was very friendly and helpful after I told her it was my first time here. I didn't want anything too heavy that morning, so I just opted for the aloha waffle with an aloha iced latte. Both tasted great. I definitely want to try a savory or dessert waffle the next time I come here.
I visited the new Aloha Waffle Bar location in Jax Beach last week. Love the beachy decor and vibe plus my waffle was fantastic! I got The Brunch Waffle which is described as "an island style Monte Cristo" with turkey. The other protein options are ham or spam. When I tell you it hit the spot, believe me! I enjoy Kona coffee so I went with the Aloha Latte, half sweet (love that option!) plus white mocha syrup. I wasn't a fan of the syrup unfortunately, so next visit I'll definitely skip it so I can fully enjoy the Kona flavor. Another highlight of the visit was Ethan, one of the staff members. He brought my waffle to the table & was so friendly and helpful. I watched him approach the other tables with the same enthusiasm, and he checked in with me to ensure I was happy with my order. I had to get his name to give him a proper shout out.
Decided to try this restaurant for the first time and I enjoyed every bit of it! Customer service was excellent, the staff asked about if it was my first time and helped guide me on what to order, which really helped! Food and drinks came out quick, minimal wait time. I got the caramel toffee latte, which was delicious. If you are a sweet coffee lover, then you will love it! I saw on the menu that they have many different fruit tea options, which I plan to come back and try. For my food, I went with the aloha waffle and a side of bacon. It was the perfect amount of sweetness with the waffle, especially with the fresh fruit. The side of bacon was good and kept me meeting my protein goals for the day. This restaurant is very cute and gives that Hawaiian luau vibe. It's not necessarily quiet enough to study in but not too loud to where you can't hear your thoughts. Will definitely be visiting again!

Blueberries ended up being in the waffle mix, so that was cool, too. They give you syrup to add, but I like eating it without. Everything was scrumptious. Pulling the bubbles apart to eat them individually is fun. My fam tried the Chicken N' Waffles and the Avocado Egg Toast Waffle. Those were yum. And we tried the chicken with the house-made honey mustard and then with syrup, Nashville Hot sauce, and a mix of both syrup and hot sauce (sweet and spicy)! All SO good! Drinks were: - Kuki Butter Latte (hot) with almond milk and half sweet. - Matcha Green Milk Tea with Almond Milk, iced, and half sweet. - Taro Milk Tea with pearls and half sweet. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. Thank you! Oh and if we get enough requests, maybe they'll open on Monday! Excellent spot for a great breakfast and a leisurely morning. Stopped by at 9:00 a.m., just as they opened. Got a fruit-filled waffle with a delicious flavored coffee. The menu is large, and so many creative options. The restaurant itself is beautiful, colorful, open and reminding us of our trip to Hawaii. Service from Erin at the front counter was perfect - she was energetic, informative, and brought us our drinks. The kitchen staff brought us our waffles straight from the kitchen...Nice and fresh. We also received loyalty cards for future visits. We spent just under $20 per person for two large / filling waffles and custom made coffees, including tax and tip. This was a significant value. People always talk about wanting to support independent small businesses - this is just the type of independent small business that everybody should want to patronize or any daily meal, breakfast, brunch, lunch or later in the day for dinner or dessert. Wish I wrote a review for the first time I came here. Review for second visit: I like the vibes of this place. It has a good amount of seating and lighting. Has music playing that's not too loud. There's even a corner table for board games. You can be served at the counter or use the self-serve tablet if you know your order. I ordered the brunch waffle, which is like a monte cristo breakfast waffle sandwich with sweet raspberry jam and spam or ham (I had spam). It was really good with the syrup. At first I regretted the extra sugar by requesting syrup, but that changed when I tasted it. I also ordered a tai milk tea. For some reason, I forgot that tai chi was my least favorite kind of tea, but when I took a sip, it wasn't so bad! It was a good kind of sweet, even though I ordered it as half sweet. My only regret is that I came here alone. I would come back with friends and enjoy it all over again trying something new every time. read more
Met a friend for brunch on my first visit here. Very cute and super clean. Not to mention that it is right in my neighborhood! The staff are amazing, offering to answer any questions and the owner came out to say hello and check on us. I have to say that the quality, preparation and presentation of these dishes is top notch. I love that there are both sweet and savory options in the memu AND you can add almost any ingredient to your order! The options for teas and coffees is incredible. I enjoyed the 3BLT and hibiscus tea latte...mmmmmmm yum! You need to check them out because the hardest thing you will do is decide what to order! read more

We found Aloha Waffle (River City Market Place) while looking for a late breakfast/early lunch spot Thursday near JIA*. The food and service were fantastic! We're talking excellent quality; in house, made from scratch cooking. Don't be fooled by any other "bubble waffle" concept. Aloha Waffle (only two locations) has perfected their batter and technique, sourcing their flour and equipment until they found just the right kind to create the consistency and flavor they were looking for from their world travel experience. This is not premade batter out of a box. Also,The Kona coffee they serve will take you back to one of your favorite trips to Hawaii! Man is it good!!! Pull up their menu, there's something for everyone; sweet, savory, sandwiches, salads, coffee, boba tea, soft serve, they've got you covered! *Imagine how pleased we were to learn they had just opened a sister location closer to our home in Jax Beach (Beach & Penman) one month ago! So, we love the food, service and concept so much we ate there again today (Sunday) and you're likely to see us there again very soon, we love it that much! See everyone there!!! read more

We finally stopped by Aloha Waffle Bar near Jacksonville Beach, and their unique Hawaiian-style bubble waffles and fresh Kona coffee make it a great local dessert spot. The bubble waffle we ordered was incredibly good, and we loved that the space was super clean and roomy for customers to relax. 10/10 ! As I was driving by I seen "aloha" from the road and being a local from Hawaii I needed to see what was going on in there . The staff was incredibly friendly , manager came up to us as well to make sure everything was going good. We tried 2 waffles , fries, and I was hesitant but after conversation with the girl behind counter she sold me on the hazelnut Nutella latte ! Absolutely amazing. Will be back read more

This place is underrated in my opinion. It is a local brunch restaurant on Beach Blvd and the service was great! I didn't get the girl's name at the counter but she was very sweet and answered my questions patiently as it was our first time going. The vibe was very Hawaiian chic, comfortable and calming. Allowed us to sit anywhere we'd like and brought the food to our table. (They did also have high chairs for kids available as well.) Took a little longer for our food but only because they started receiving more customers at once. The food at 10/10 and price was reasonable for the quality and quantity. For all four items below it came out to around $43 and change. Very flavorful and truly unique! Would recommend this spot to family and friends! read more

I stopped in to check out Aloha Waffle Bar and was very glad I did! The place is very cute, the service was amazing, and the waffle was sooo good! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. She explained they had a physical menu, barcode scanner menu, or a tablet menu with pictures, depending on your preference. You can order at the register, on your phone, or on the tablet. I think this is very thoughtful! I started at the tablet menu so I could see pictures, but ended up ordering with her at the register because I'd also been asking questions. One I ordered, I grabbed a seat and my order was brought out once ready. I ordered an Aloha Waffle and a brown sugar shaken espresso. They were both amazing. When deciding what to order, I noted I don't like super sweet things but I did have a sweet tooth. The Aloha waffle was the perfect recommendation. The waffle and whipped cream had just the right level of sweetness and the fresh fruit created the perfect balance. She also recommended I get half the brown sugar pumps they normal put in the shaken espresso and she was spot on with that recommendation as well. They checked on me a couple of times while I enjoyed and it was an overall great experience. I can't wait to go again and try a savory waffle! read more

Oh. My. Gosh. Everything was so delicious, even the kids cheese waffles we could've believe how good they were! We also got one savory and one sweet waffle (we built our own sweet one), and absolutely loved both. They have recently opened and the owner was lovely explaining everything to us.
