Amazing Barista makes all your goody coffees
Patti C.

This was our first stop in and we really enjoyed ut! The crew here are all amazingly friendly and want you to enjoy your food. They have some outside seating and counter, booth and tables inside. They appear to do a huge take out service as well. Stop in for a quick tasty fresh breakfast!

Biscuits and gravy with bacon!!! And a scrambled egg

I've been 2x and love them! I mean- biscuits and gravy with bacon instead of sausage blew my mind and made me return! Not to mention their coffee is delicious, service is fast and friendly and besides numerous breakfast sandwiches on the menu they also have breakfast plates- John's preferred breakfast. Casual dining room, love the eggy vibes! Will be back!

This is how a breakfast sandwich should be made. Got the everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese -- asked for my egg over medium and they got it exactly right. Bagel was soft, everything was fresh. When you can customize your order and they actually execute it, that's the move. Egg Boy is the standard.

Finally made it on a weekday when it wasn't totally packed! The BEC was definitely tasty and I'd order it again. The cafe con leche was lukewarm with cinnamon notes which I wasn't quite a fan of.

Loaded spuds!

Had to update my review: Over a year later and we are still coming back. The loaded spuds were made with so much love! The S.E.C & the red Forman are our go-to's. You can tell the staff is working hard to pump out food, with quick service. Damian gave us our food and we had a quick chat. He was so kind and it really made our morning. 10/10, we will continue to come back!

The potatoes are so good. This is a spot in a bush lot with limited parking but it's really good. If you're close it may be a better takeout spot. They could benefit from a bigger spot but they make do with what they have.

The brunch café was bustling when we arrived which was a clear sign of its popularity. Though we had to wait briefly, the mouthwatering aromas kept us excited while we waited in line. I ordered the Arlington sandwich with a Matcha drink. It was packed with a turkey sausage, eggs, avocado, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and honey dijonnaise on a jumbo English muffin. It was a bit messy but flavorful. The Matcha was lightly sweet and refreshing. My partner chose the SEC sandwich with maple pepper sausage, eggs, American cheese, and honey dijonnaise on a brioche bun, plus a dry cappuccino--he liked them both. The café's small size made it feel cramped, and a few flies were quite distracting a bit. Our clothes also picked up some kitchen smells due to the open cooking space. Still, the food was delicious and the lively atmosphere added to the charm. We left satisfied and already thinking about what to try next time. A memorable brunch spot! Also, always check the special menu as you'll find some great creations.

This is a local place that prides itself on anything you can think of with egg as a sandwich. I got the S.E.C (sausage, egg, and cheese). This was a sausage with scrambled eggs on a brioche bun with American cheese. This was a good sandwich and as I got my food I glanced over in the booth and saw an assortment of hot sauces. I decided to try this horseradish and cayenne pepper medley and I couldn't have been more thrilled with my choice. I am not sure if it was the horseradish but all of sudden this bland but good egg Sammie just became amazing. I ended up asking if they sold the hot sauce and to my delight they did. The people there are friendly and will attend to you so you are not waiting for them. The atmosphere is like a diner which I like the nostalgia of being able to see the chefs cook.

The food was worth the 45 minute drive. Really cute atmosphere and a dog-friendly patio. The service was excellent as well. 10/10 would highly recommend.

So first time visiting and it was definitely worth the drive out to Mayport. Let me start by saying everything was fresh and hot and came out really fast considering the orders prior placed before us. The hen house was ok in our opinion. The chicken could've been seasoned more and the gravy was mid. My date ordered it and he rated it an 6/10. He's not one to complain so he ate it but stated he wouldn't order again. I ordered the Santa Maria and it was a 10/10. The only thing I would've done differently was add extra bacon for the protein intake personally and more guac. I placed a side order of maple peppered sausage for protein purposes but I could've omitted it for flavor. It was no seasoning only hot and fresh. Then we tried the full Monty which was rated 8/10. My date isn't a fan of French toast so I wouldn't take that into account if you love French toast. The sandwich just needed flavor/seasoning. The side of syrup is a preference in my opinion I could've done without it. The tables were all dirty but no plates were left on it. So if you plan on dining in you may have to ask for tables to be cleaned. Overall the Santa Maria stole the show at our table. My date ordered some iced coffee and he returned it stating it tasted burnt. Not sure what that meant but he doesn't complain so for him to ask for a refund that speaks volumes.

The food is good! The "Sidewinder Potatoes" are a new take on an old breakfast staple. Beer battered and crispy they were a treat. Moist and buttery scrambled eggs and turkey sausage made the perfect brecky delight. Better than Grumpys and fresher than keke's. With friendly service, a comfortable deli style ambiance, average pricing, all in house made sausage and potatoes, and a great smash burger, it's a must have breakfast experience if you're in NE Jacksonville. This place gets my highest marks.

I finally had a chance to try Eggboy on a Saturday morning after a beach walk. The menu items marked with an egg are the top sellers. Jason helped this first timer and suggested the Sunrise bagel sandwich served with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, avocado and sriracha. Oh my goodness! This sandwich was delicious;))) It was hot and I loved that the bagel was grilled yet still soft as I do not eat hard bagels. The sandwich was very filling as I was only able to eat half. I ate the other half a few hours later lol. For coffee lovers they have a huge selection. I ordered an iced tea and mixed the sweet and unsweet which made it perfect! I also ordered a blueberry Cinotti's donut to go. You can tell the staff enjoy their job and working with each other which makes the atmosphere comfortable and cozy. I can't wait to bring a friend next time and try another menu item.

Tried their breakfast burrito on the way to work. The burrito was a good size and perfect for breakfast, but I felt like it was missing just a little kick. Will try a few more of their breakfast sandwiches and coffee if I have time on my way to work in the future. The military discount was nice too.

Not sure what happened but this place used to be so good. I hope it was an off day but honestly not worth the price and food quality.

Vicious biscuit is an amazing place to indulge in flavorful food in Neptune Beach…read more I recently tried this place on my short trip to Jacksonville and was very glad it was on the way to my hotel in Jax beach. They offer a variety of different biscuits with chicken and other proteins and also have a pretty robust menu with other options. I was impressed immediately with the service as I explained it was my first time visiting and they staff went out of their way to make recommendations! This establishment offers breakfast cocktails, a butter/jam bar and amazing vibes! The portions are huge and the prices match the quality. A must stop if you find yourself in Neptune beach

The acoustics make conversation difficult. Vicious Biscuit - jalapeno biscuit - Thick, pasty. Chicken - good crisp and not dry. Gravy - lacked seasoning and didnt have any maple drizzle:-( Fried Green 'Mater - thick cut and just the right amount of fry on them so they aren't squishy. Breading was light and well-balanced. The shredded pimento cheese spread was top-notch. It was creamy, rich, and flavorful. It sets this side apart from the others. They also have full-size pickled okra that rocks. Chai latte - thin, light, refreshing with an cinnamon accent, borders on a horchata, then the chai pops up. Overall, the visit was pleasant with solid food, but not so amazing that I would drive out of my way to come here again. I have had worse and I have had better.

On arrival my friends were easily assisted and provided a spot outside upon request for four of us for brunch. Server, Michelle, made sure all could be set up quickly- balloons and cake. She was exceptional. Quick service, very thorough, super friendly- but not just that, very personable. Answered all our questions and made great suggestions. Appetizers were Buffalo cauliflower (not on brunch menu) and spinach dip. Both were wonderful- great flavor and portion size was large. Meals; Two Short Rib Benedict's- Large serving, we each ate half. Good amount of meat on 2 pieces of seasoned toast with eggs and a side of home fries. Two salads- one goat cheese and one fig. One plain and one with shrimp. Super tasty. Started off with a bottle of champagne for mimosas. When time for our cake, Michelle was quick to action and bring plates and utensils. She felt like part of the celebration over just being our server. Really haven't had this level of service or genuine personality at any restaurant before- not even for upscale nights out. We will be back.

When I saw this food truck parked out near the front of my neighborhood I got "eggcited" because I…read morelove eggs. And before I get too far into this I want to say the food was good. The flavors were nice and everything was prepared well. However, and this may be just my opinion but, if you're going to call your food truck "The Fried Egg" perhaps eggs should be a part of the make up of most of you menu items. Given the current menu options I think a better name for this truck would be "The Fried Egg is a $1 add-on option." I mentioned to the young lady taking my order that it surprised me that, given the name of the truck, I would have to pay an up charge for an egg. She relayed my sentiments to the cook, who may have been the manager or owner. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger and did ask for the fried egg add-on. The food was prepared really quickly and the burger looked perfect. However, the young lady informed me that unfortunately they only had 4 eggs left and that they all fell and broke on the floor before my burger was ready. So she handed me a $1 bill as a refund. Obviously disappointed (and skeptical of the story) I accepted the refund and went on my way. The short of it is that while I was eggstremly disappointed by the lack of eggs, the burger was quite good and the fries were wonderful. I would have given this experience 4 stars, I can overlook the name thing, but not being able to have any eggs from The Fried Egg food truck left me somewhat disappointed.
