The most important thing I have to say is about the quality of the ingredients. Every time I eat here, I feel really good afterwards -- almost like I'm eating my mom's cooking. You can tell they care a lot about the selection of ingredients; everything is high quality and organic. That does make the meals a bit expensive, but it's expected with such quality. The workers are really nice and always make me feel welcomed. We love hitting up this spot whenever we're near Neptune. Also, their frozen yogurt is out of this world! The same goes for the rest of their bowls and wraps. The taste is worth it, but the price point may be an issue for some. The service is always amazing. Omg, the Mediterranean bowl was amazing. I eat Gluten Free and Dairy free. I have Celiac and they changed gloves and utensils. Shannon explained where they have gluten in the kitchen. I come here all the time for their froyo. It's one of the last places of good froyo in town. The original tart is my fave, and I always get it with bee pollen. I also love how they have free syrups for the yogurts. Service is fast and to the point. I've been here late at night before and they were so kind enough to let me stay inside since it was raining hard despite it being after hours. They are so incredibly kind. The small restaurant gives a hippie health food vibes. Which melds very well with the food they sell. They have a selection of healthy wraps acai bowls, etc. Every time I have a vegetarian friend or gluten free friend with me, this is where I end up taking them. It's very customizable for a variety of food allergies. Very food restriction friendly! Overall, it's a wonderful place to go. The only down side is that the tow trucks randomly come by the area to tow you away even if you just parked to eat a small meal, so it prevents me from coming all the time. But that's not their fault. Just be careful, since the towing company likes to pop by the area and tow for no reason. Else, I'd pop by more often. read more

Got here at 8:45PM not realizing that they closed at 9:00PM. Despite the staff clearly preparing to close up, they all greeted me with friendly smiles and hellos and welcomed any questions I had. I was happy there were kiosks to order so I could take my time looking through the extensive topping options. I got a small açaí bowl with tons of added toppings. The new Riverside location is finally opened! They had their soft opening starting Friday so we stopped in after having a cocktail in 5points. We were the only folks in there besides the chef's mom who came to eat also. I hope that as they are open longer will become more known and more people check it out. The decor is very clean and fresh, it's a very nice looking place. The chef told us all about the menu and the many many vegan options they have on menu as well as every item can be made vegan. For my vegan hubby who is used to having 1 or 2 options when we go out he was overwhelmed. Our food came out quick and was very good. Homespun Kitchen has some nice healthy options for breakfast. I enjoyed the Med Egg wrap for breakfast; it was flavorful and the perfect size. My husband also enjoyed his açaí bowl; the blueberries on top were fresh. He ordered a chicken breast, though, which shockingly came out cold and cubed. It tasted like it had been prepared several days before. I think it would be a good idea to mention that the chicken breast comes out cold and pre cut. This is probably not a common order for someone, but it was still very off putting, and for that reason, I wouldn't return if I was in the area again. read more

This place was so good my friend and I came back twice in a day. First of all, the location is awesome. We were able to grab lunch to-go and walk straight to the beach. Fantastic healthy options, lots of wraps, avocado toast, and açaí bowls. Vegan, gluten free, locally sourced, the works. But you can add meats like turkey bacon or ham if you need that extra protein. I'm not very experienced with açaí bowls, but this seemed pretty good. Plenty of fruit. For my first visit, they recommended the "sweet heat" wrap for average carnivores. It was pretty good. this place slaps! one of my favorite places in the entire united states of america! i could close my eyes and throw a dart at the menu and never be upset. their breakfast wraps.... fire their açaí bowls!? stop it.... fire their lunch bowls.... cut it out... absolute heat! i cannot recommend this place enough. *side note* the only downside.... is that this place is pretty darn expensive..... like i'll be paying $20 for a wrap and a smoothie. but i'll also be adding extra stuff so that bumps up the price to be fair. read more
