Listen...I had to tell myself to relax because I can't be falling in love with the first acai bowl spot I try since moving to Florida. The staff was young but they were friendly, patient, and did a great job. I customized my bowl way more than I probably needed to, which definitely made the price climb, but hey...if I'm paying, I want it exactly how I want it, and I'll happily swipe the card. The place itself has a fun beach vibe, it's super clean, and you can tell they put some thought into the atmosphere. Most importantly, the bowl was fresh and hit the spot. I'm still going to keep trying other places around town before I crown a favorite, but Playa Bowls definitely set the bar pretty high. I have a feeling I'll be back sooner than I planned. read more

Pliable's are more of a dessert type of eatery in my opinion. The service was good and everything is fresh. You can select a set bowl or a mix and match and make your own creation. They are very flexible. . Enjoyed the Pacific bowl and was able to have a 50-50 split of the base with Acai berries, and greens for the bottom. The portion was huge.
