Today was our first time coming to this restaurant. We received a $50 gift card through an Instagram drawing so we didn't have an actual gift card when we arrived. I wasn't really sure how it was going to work out -- but when we arrived we took a look at the menu and then explain the situation to the friendly cashier at the counter. There were no issues from there. We spent about $50 on two meals and two drinks (not including tip). We ordered the Burrito Mexicano, Pink Protein Pancakes (with eggs), Morning Energizer (I believe that's what it was called), & a matcha latte. The pancakes were made using beet flour which you can definitely taste. I actually enjoy the taste of beets but if you don't, maybe don't order those. The eggs weren't our favorite thing in the world, but they were warm & got the job done. The order also came with a variety of fresh fruit. I appreciated that I didn't come to any piece of fruit that was overly ripe. I really liked the burrito but next time I think I would add some kind of breakfast meat to it. Accompanying me for the meal was my 15 month old daughter. When we arrived, I didn't see any high chairs. I was a little concerned about how the meal was going to go without one... but after we ordered and sat down the hostess grabbed a highchair for us (which was clean). My favorite things we ordered were the two drinks. My daughter and I actually both drink those together and surprisingly her favorite was the morning energizer (which had the beet juice). We sat indoors, but there is somewhat of an outdoor patio if the weather was nice and you wanted to sit outdoor. Indoor seating had a variety of options from comfy chairs (that gave coffee shop vibes), to regular dining chairs. I also appreciated that though there was some music playing in their speakers -- It wasn't too loud. Something that really impressed me was: the second we finished a plate and pushed it aside (so my 15 month old wouldn't play with it) the hostess immediately took it away from us. There was no wait. The complementary water that is brought to the table tasted clean and without chlorine. All of the food was fresh tasting, and we enjoyed the interactions we had with all of the staff we spoke to. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Before leaving, I made a quick stop at the ladies' room and just have to say--it was the nicest restaurant bathroom I've ever used. Heated toilet seats? Yes, please! But I digress... Now, let's talk about the açaí bowl. My daughter and I each ordered one, and they were not only beautiful but incredibly delicious. Generous portions, served in coconut-shaped bowls with a fresh flower on top--such a thoughtful touch. The staff was fantastic--friendly and super attentive. I am a bit delayed on this review but I was recently thinking about it and definitely need and want to go back. I can't recall the name of dish I ordered but it was steak, over a bed of rice and mushrooms and one of their freshly pressed juice. The restaurant makes you feel like you are at a restaurant near the beach. The staff were wonderful. There is limited sitting so I would say the earlier you go the better. So impressed with Kairos! Beautifully decorated with a modern organic, relaxing music, and plenty of seating in the main area and separate rooms that are perfect for working. Service was very attentive, you order at the cashier but food is brought to you. From the lighting to the silverware, everything feels very upscale. We got the chimichurri steak bowl with a caesar side salad and açaí bowl and they were very delicious. Awesome spot for a quick smoothie after a workout, their fresh juices are made daily and great for a cleanse or just to get some extra greens/ nutrients in and their lunch options are great for a sit down bite to eat. I visited their new location today for the grand opening and was blown away by the elegance and beautiful, modern decor. They also had a DJ playing all the jams for the grand opening. The new space is much larger than the last space with a large separate room that would be great if they offer the option to rent to private parties. In addition to a beautiful interior, there is ample outdoor seating as well. Service is very friendly and helpful although today my smoothie took a super long time to come out. Probably the cleanest bowl you can get at any drive thru in Jax. My favorite is a build your own bowl with spring mix, quinoa, grilled mushrooms, buffalo cauliflower, and steak with the chimichurri sauce. Excellent no filler foods, but you will pay the $17-20 per meal for the quality. They also have fresh squeezed juices of many kinds starting at $7 for 12oz which just feels steep to me but might be right on track with other juice bars. Regardless, the drive thru Kairos offers makes it head and shoulders the healthiest option you can eat without getting out of your car. read more

I browsed the menu online before I got there. I tried the Super Food Bowl: Kale, quinoa, sprouts, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, avocado, sweet potatoes & kale dressing. You have the option to add protein, but I didn't. I also tried the detox green juice: pineapple, cucumber, celery, spinach, ginger & lemon. Both were delicious! If I had to complain I'd say the French toast was a bit soggy in some parts and the bacon could have been more firm and thick. Sourdough bread was tasty. The juice is delicious however it irritates me that I pay $10 for a 20 oz juice and it comes in a container that holds 17 oz of its filled to the brim with liquid and then add ice.... That's NOT 20 oz it's honestly more like 14 or 15 and ice. For the longest time, I kept thinking that it was just me thinking the container was small. One time I actually asked is this the 20 ounce and was told yes. So I kind of just assumed it was me However, today, I actually measured it and that's what I got. It's very cute, modern and clean on the inside. There are a few tables outside. I ordered an iced chai latte and avocado toast which comes with a fruit cup. The chai latte was a bit too sweet for me. I liked the avocado toast but there wasn't anything too special about it. The fruit cup had blueberries and pineapple. Why did they move?!? New location parking lot is a nightmare and they have severe growing pains. The staff can't handle the larger place and volume of orders. I'm saying this after going three times since they moved. Each time there's been a problem with parking and order. My laest experience there we only got one entree of the two we ordered after about 35 minutes. I went inside after waiting about 10 more minutes to check on the other entree and they said it was "being made" and would be brought out to us. I offered to stand and wait for it and they insisted I go back and sit at our table because it was coming. Guess what? Entree didn't come after another 10 or so minutes so we stopped one of the food runners who seemed confused we even had anything else coming despite a number being on our table. Finally - I reported all of this to them in the survey about how they did and they never even responded. Bummed about the decline of this once favorite spot. read more

Bad experience with lack of communication and I wasn't happy about that!!
