Ordered the Rainbow Bowl -- service was friendly and good snd the ambiance is quiet and laid back. I am giving three stars based on flavor. The bowls have plenty of toppings, however the pineapples were on the dry side and not sweet or juicy, and the strawberries were also not sweet. I love that the bowls are packed to the brim. I've never had bruised fruit, or any fresh ingredients that don't look ready for the camera. I always get perfectly ripe fruit. This goes for Togo items as well. The product is always fresh. I also really love that there are no additives here. If you order a juice, smoothie, or bowl, it isn't packed with extra added sugar. If you want to sweeten your order, I suggest adding honey. You will only find natural ingredients at JuiceBox (we love this, thank you) Their entrance to the shop is so cute. Love the Christmas decor they have up for the time being. I ordered the Beach Bowl earlier today, and was able to modify it a little bit. The staff is always friendly whether I call in an order or walk in and place it. I highly recommend the açaí powerhouse shake! It is delicious. They have a good amount of items on the menu and are vegan friendly. If you don't like the protein powder taste then I recommend their protein shakes. I enjoyed my shake but it wasn't my absolute favorite. I got the juicebox PB and I thought it was a fair price for the 24 oz, less than $10. My only suggestion would be to have somewhere we could find the calories/nutrition information. I'm not sure if their is a location with this info but I was not able to find it on their menu or online. I didn't have the best first time experience, but will go back due to location. (They forgot my order so they had to re-ask what I got about 15 minutes later... and there was only 1 other customer this entire time period). Giving a 3, because my friend's juice and açaí bowl was good Fresh made juices to order, açaí bowls, and a to go area with food. Good news, they have food in the Togo shelf if you don't like the açaí bowls. Bad news, you can't warm it up there and they have no forks... so the choice is yours: eat it cold with a spoon or take it to go. The prices are super High! Like higher than any other juice place I've been in Jacksonville. The little tiny Togo pasta salad was $9.36. I would've been happy if it was $5 or less. My juice was $8.83. I took the juice to go and later found out it had so much garlic in it that I couldn't even drink it. It taste like they took a couple tablespoons full of minced garlic and put it in my juice: not the flavor I was looking for at all! It's refreshing to see more local places pop up in Southside. I've heard the raves of JuiceBox from Yelpers and when mom popped into town, I knew I had to take her to see what the fuss was about. The storefront is cute and fun with colorful signage and unique seating arrangements. The staff is young and did a pretty good job explaining the menu to us. It's difficult to read the cursive chalkboard menu, so just go ahead and read the laminated handheld one. To my surprise, the Acai bowls ran for $6.95. I know not to expect California prices, but damn that's cheap! We ordered the Beach Bowl, Peanut Butter Acai Bowl, a green smoothie, and a Lemon Ginger Shot, which ran for $24. Beach Bowl - organic Acai berry with banana, pineapple, almond milk, granola, strawberry, coconut shaving and honey. Expect lots of natural sweetness from the fruit, depth from the Acai berry, and crunchiness from the granola. Although I'm not crazy about super sweet items, these flavors worked well together and froze my mouth in Acai bowl bliss. Would recommend! Most customers took their items to go, but if you land a seat it's a nice atmosphere to hang out and chat. The best part of these places is that you can eat a full portion and feel good about yourself for the rest of the day. Heart healthy and good for the soul. I was unsure after my first bite, but then I couldn't stop eating it. The flavor and texture of the acai bowl may take some getting use to...but it is totally worth the money and it is better than eating something heavy when you need a light snack/meal. They had some nice looking smoothies and a nice amount of juices too. I settled on the Cleansing Green, which has Apple, Celery, Orange, Spinach, Lemon, and Ginger. My wife ordered the Beet It, which has Carrot, Apple, Beet, Celery, and Kale. She didn't like hers at all and didn't finish it. It was a bit of shame since it was her idea to come in. I on the other hand really liked my juice. It had the right amount of ginger and the apple provided a good sweetness. This store is within walking distance to my home so I think I'll have to visit another time to get a good feel for their menu. I am editing my previous review, because I totally botched the prices for the store. The juices are about $5.75, which is pretty competitive with local places. The smoothies are less at about $5.45. Not too bad at all. Smoothie King is generally more expensive and the staff is usually not as nice as the folks here were. Perhaps the smoothies will be tastier and offer more bang for your buck than the juices. I loved the decor and the arcade machine with Ms. Pac-Man and Galica is an awesome throwback. MOBLIE ordered their peanut butter açaí bowl, which I get all the time, went in to pick it up and they didn't know what I got. Then when told they realized there was no peanut butter blended in the the base like the menu states they poured peanut butter all over the top for no reason. I asked them to remake the item I actually ordered, they laughed, and proceeded to just spoon peanut butter into the base that was already in there (as the picture shows). I have never had a bad experience here but today was absolutely terrible customer service. It's a holiday weekend I get it the good employees don't want to work but do better. read more

This place is among several recent acai places to open in Jacksonville. Unfortunately I'm not as enthusiastic about this place as other yelpers seem to be. The prices here are certainly cheaper than those at the beach by a few dollars but the toppings are skimpy. I sent a picture of the bowl I ordered to my sister who lives in Los Angeles and her response was "that bowl has a scant amount of fruit". That was my thought exactly! I guess I'm used to the bowls out west that have half of the container filled with base and the other half layered with toppings. Here, there are just small slivers of the most thinly sliced bananas and strawberries and some coconut flakes literally "topping" the bowl. I got the beach bowl without granola but looking at the pics on yelp, it doesn't seem to matter which bowl is ordered. The toppings are minuscule and my bowl supposedly had extra fruit to substitute for the granola. The acai base was disappointing as well. It was liquidy and it was clearly from a frozen mix. I had a chunk of frozen, unblended acai in my bowl. Also, the almond milk was a bit overpowering. My humble recommendation is that the toppings should actually be layered, not placed in thin rows on top of the base. After all, that's the filling part of the bowl and what the customer is paying for. Maybe the smoothies here are better than the bowls. read more

It's safe to say I was devouring the goodness , and then I said wait this bowl is so good I need to write a review ! This açaí Rainbow bowl is fresh and delicious, not to mention it is wonderful in size . All of the fruits were fresh, crisp, and tasty. I appreciated the fact that each fruit add on was only 50 cents , but what made it so magnificent was that the bowl I ordered already came with a bunch. After having an acai bowl for the first time at a place near the beaches, I wanted to see if I could find a place that had them a little closer to home. That's when I found JuiceBox. A friend of mine who lives in the same neighborhood said that they were amazing and that she used to go every day for one. Hmmm, let's go check it out. I've been coming in every morning on the way to work, and that's possible since they open at 7. I love them for that and hope it doesn't change. I've noticed I'm not the only one since they have a few regulars that come as well. Now the food, it's amazing and they use all natural ingredients organic and always fresh. Smoothies are thick and feature a huge variety of options. They have fruit bowls and oatmeal bowls and offer CBD shots as an option as well. You can sign up for a juice cleanse which I'm interested in. I've never done one but I know everything is amazing at this place. They make us feel welcome and always are helpful and patient.
