Pro tip: Fruit Time opens when Fruit Time says it opens. I, however, showed up at an hour that can only be described as "optimistically premature" over the weekend so I thought I missed out! Thankfully, a friend with better time management went later and brought me back a Strawberry Dubai cup. I was floored. The cup was stuffed full with strawberries so fresh I thought they may have come straight off a plant. They also topped it off with a seasonal chocolate "vampire." Cute, and exactly the kind of detail that makes you smile before taking a bite. I didn't get the full in-store experience this time, but I'm already planning a return visit! oh my SO good! I had seen pics on here of this place and immediately knew I needed to go try it! chocolate and fruit is an elite combination and special treat in my opinion! Me and my 3 girls all went and got 3 things to try: *Strawberry Chocolate Dubai Cup- delicious! The sweetest of the 3, filled to the brim with choc, strawberries, pistachio cream, and toasted phillo...so tasty! *Avocado Smoothie- just delicious! Not super sweet, the avocado smoothie part was quite mild tasting, almost just a lovely vanilla flavor. Topped with a white like cheese(?) I'm not sure what is was but it tasted good, maybe drizzled with honey and fresh fruit. *Arabic Fruit bowl- filled to the brim with beautifully presented fruit and that same white cheese? Maybe smoothie under part? Loved it So many flavors going on, even with 4 of us we couldn't finish the 3 things and took it home to enjoy later! I went to this place today and ordered a "Chocolate shake". The drink I was given was totally black in color with what looked like some peanut butter swirls. I assumed that this was some kind of food coloring and didn't want to make a big deal of it so I took it home... HUGE MISTAKE! I tasted it and it tasted nothing like chocolate. It was an very confusing flavor profile and didn't even look like it was edible. In short, it tasted awful. After looking at their menu trying to identify what in the world I was given, it turned out to be a Charcoal smoothie. One of the ingredients in this smoothie is Banana which my girlfriend is very allergic to and even informed the man at the counter of her allergy so needless to say, our hearts sank when we learned that had ingested banana and can only hope she doesn't have a severe reaction soon. I have absolutely no idea how me ordering a chocolate shake turned into me receiving a charcoal smoothie but it was very evident that the people working there are not very concerned with customer service seeing that they don't pay any mind at all to what you're ordering and you pretty much just need to hope to get lucky to get your correct order. Aside from my item, my girlfriend ordered an acai bowl and both her and I felt the taste was lack luster to say the least. We wanted to try this place and give it a shot but unfortunately, we can't take back our wasted money or time. These guys are AMAZING!! They're quick to get the ice cream (or whatever you're getting) out to you and happy to let you try samples! The pistachio milkshake is my personal favorite, I often bring kids and the 4yr old loves the Superman ice cream!
