I've been wanting to try this spot and finally got to go with my mom and grandma! We're Filipino so it's so cool to see flavors like Ube and pandan on the menu! I got the Ube Dubai chocolate ice cream which was amazing to combine 2 iconic desserts, it was yummy and I loved the crunch! My grandma got Ube and my mom got Dubai chocolate. All were good and it's a cute little shop. Will definitely be back!

This store is located within a plaza. Talk about ice cream heaven- this place offers a vast menu of unique flavors from ube to Dubai chocolate and a mixture of the two, amongst other common flavors of ice cream. The decor was fun and colorful and the service was excellent.

Everything wonderful! Friendly service! I don't often indulge in ice cream but the choices were many here! Also, Guitar repairs "on the side"!

Great family owned spot with a fun and positive ambiance ! Service was very welcoming and absolutely loved all the exotic and unique flavors on their menu. Their Dubai chocolate cup was rich, savory and delicious. We have added Gator Ice cream to our dessert spots if we are in the beach area and you should too! You won't regret it!

Absolutely amazing! Love this place. Been hearing about the Dubai chocolate here but ended up falling in love with their Alcohol Infused ice cream. The kids both loved their flavors (non alcoholic of course) Peach Cobbler & Peanut Butter Cup. The owner helped us out and his happy attitude was 10/10!

Very friendly associates who greeted each guest upon arrival and thanked each guest as they left. The world would be a better place if we had more friendly interactions like that. Anyway, theres SO many menu options but there's something to accommodate everyone: choose from the Gator Classics, Dairy Free, Sugar Free, Exotic Flavors, Sorbet or there's also Alcohol-Infused options. The interior has fun & colorful decor with a handful of tables inside and a few seats outside too. There's also tons of parking. Yes, you may experience a bit of sticker shock especially the $14.99 Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Strawberry ice cream which was my daughter's whole reason for visiting. She loved it, I guess you can say the serving was generously sized for the price tag. The cup was loaded up. We also enjoyed our other picks: ube cheesecake from the "New this Week" menu & avocado & ube from the "Exotic Flavors" menu.

Spent the day at the beach and stopped to get ice cream on the way home. The staff were excellent. They helped explained all the items to us. They were very friends and nice. The ice cream was good and we had a nice time sitting in the store.

Gator ice cream is handling their viral popularity with grace and ease. Their Dubai chocolate cups are unreal and the pistachio ice cream is to die for. They also have alcohol infused ice cream, like what?!? Okk count me in! Locally owned and you can tell. There is so much passion in each item they produce Don't question, just go and support this local spot!

Absolutely delicious!! And a great vibe! This family owned ice cream spot offers over 70 ice cream flavors!! They have traditional flavors and exotic, dairy free options AND alcohol infused options! So far I have tried 12 flavors and each one was so fresh and rich. The staff has been helpful and friendly every time I have gone in, allowing me to sample flavors and providing suggestions. You've got to stop by Gator Ice Cream for a sweet treat, they have unique flavors and fresh takes on classics!

This was a nice surprise after an afternoon at the beach! A group of nine of us went and initially I thought that we might overwhelm the small operation but no, they moved us through like champs. As soon as we entered, several small parties arrived as well and the place was packed. The owner was visibly pleased by the line and put his phone up to take pictures/videos. I must say that he has a lot to be proud of! This is definitely some of the best ice cream in Jacksonville. And with two people in our group who can't eat dairy, we were thrilled to see the number of non-dairy ice creams and sorbets. We sampled several flavors before deciding what we wanted. I enjoyed their version of ube and banana cream pie. I ended up ordering rocky road only to learn that they didn't have it in stock. So I got oreo crunch. The other flavors our group ordered were butterscotch crunch, totally coconut, mint chocolate chip, strawberry, mad vanilla, strawberry sorbet, dairy free chocolate, blueberry cheesecake, boozy butterscotch crunch, dairy free toasted coconut rum, dairy free mint chocolate. I liked the little waffle wheels that were included with all the ice cream scoops. I love rocky road so while I was a little disappointed that I had to pivot, the oreo crunch was delicious. There were chunks of cookies inside! And the waffle cone that I got was fresh. Everyone loved the ice cream and sorbet. However, the dairy free options were a miss. The flavors were great but the consistency was not good at all, gelatinous almost. It was very weird and unlike any nondairy options that we'd tasted at any other place. We tried calling back to ask about the ingredients but no one answered. Despite the non-dairy ice cream snafu, I would definitely recommend this place. If you are lactose intolerant or have a milk/dairy allergy, opt for the sorbets! I hope that in time they get more seating as we had to awkwardly stand outside the store and eat in/on our cars in the parking lot or on the way home.

Super cute ceiling full of ice cream!

THIS place is what Yelp is all about!! Finding the hidden gem - high quality product made from scratch with HEART! I got the passion fruit & coconut ice creams and they are slap your mama good. No preservatives and fresh FRESH taste. The owners greeted us and crafted our lil cups while adding the toppings and sauce with such TLC. Be still my heart! The cutest ice cream decor hangs from the ceiling and fun chill music playlist in the small seating area. Great intimate date night spot off the beaten path though it's right behind mellow mushroom. If you live in Jax Beach and call yourself a local, try this place!

Have you ever walked into the somewhere and been amazed by how friendly the atmosphere was? When I walked into this small little ice cream shop, I never expected to be greeted by such an amazing store. The man, who I presume is the owner, makes all the ice cream homemade in 3 gallon batches. When I tell you this place had many flavors, it had a LOT. I think there were maybe 50 flavors, with a lot of them being exotic and flavors I didn't even know they made ice cream of. The owner spoke to me quite kindly and offered me to taste some of them. When I finally ordered, he made me a pint of ice cream with three flavors in it, at my request. The ice cream I had was out of this world. I got the peach cobbler, passion fruit, and the mango ice cream. I would absolutely buy my ice cream only from here the next time I come to Jacksonville and I recommend you do to! Overall, I think this was one of the best stores I've ever been in and would rate it a 15/10. If you are ever looking for ice cream in Jacksonville, this is the place!!!

It has a large menu with many sandwiches, meats, sausages, among other great stuff to choose from. Our first moments here began by just navigating around the restaurant to see what it was all about. There are large number of wine and beer selections. Though I abstain from alcoholic beverages, I would guess that most are of the European variety - they have beer on the tap setup across from the dessert counter. After the quick self-tour and a conversation with the manager, we lodged in our seats and got ready to order. I actually was hoping the cafe offered speciality coffee like a latte, but that was quickly dashed when the server said they only served regular or decaf coffee. Initially I was disappointed but ordered one anyway. When it arrived and I dressed it up a little with some Splenda and Coffee Mate, I found it to be one the best regular cups of coffee I've had in a long time. We took a while to order because it is a sizable menu. However, I was sold immediately on the Rueben sandwich selections and just need to pick one. I settled on the classic Rueben, which was a mix of corned beef, pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, a superb Thousand Island-type dressing on pumpernickel bread - it was delicious from start to finish! I will note that you can choose other breads and cheeses with the Ruebens. Some options may come at added cost. I'm glad it was large enough to take some home with me. My dearest chose the turkey Parisian. This was a splendid choice with a nice mix of excellent deli turkey, Brie, raspberry sauce, cucumber, and lettuce on a large croissant. Both sandwiches were more than worth the price of admission! Our server displayed excellent courtesy and care throughout our eating experience. I greatly appreciate the manager taking time to chat with me as well. I really felt good at European Street Cafe! With the fantastic artistry on the walls, the large setting of wooden tables and chairs well-spaced and well-organized on both sides of the interior has the look of a classic cafe that has been around for a good number of years. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a nice outdoor patio area not far from the entrance. I think I found a great place to visit when I crave a Rueben sandwich! This one today felt like a Time Machine moment for me as my mom made them like this when I was a kiddo! Thanks for making this visit special today European Street Cafe! Recommend: VERY HIGH
