Looks like a baby pooped in my cup. At my normal location my smoothie is creamy and DELICIOUS. This taste like I'm drinking protein powder I can't taste anything else. So nasty. I went home and tried to make it taste better (failed) and then walked around with spinach in my teeth in front of all my coworkers bc it wasn't blended well. Absolutely ridiculous in order online way ahead and then it says completed and then I show up and they tell Me to pull around after waiting so long in line. While I'm at work which is why I put in the online order so I'm not wasting time. Then the ladies telling me they are really busy that's why they couldn't make my smoothies and continued helping other people in the drive-through instead of my order that they marked completed 15 minutes prior. Love Smoothie King, I'm a frequent flyer at my home location in South Carolina weekly. This location in Jacksonville FL totally messed this up...smoothies have a thicker consistency, my Carribean Way smoothie had a watery taste. Very disappointed, I had to put in freezer to get the texture desired. Wasted time and money. Spent approx $7.50 for a 32oz I will not visit this location again. The fact the owner of this franchises location decided to have one person working by themselves regardless if it's a Sunday is unacceptable. I've been standing at the pickup window for now almost 30 minutes and she has barely even acknowledged me because her drive thru line is 8 cars long and again, she's working alone. After the continued wait another employee showed up. The girl working alone also mentioned to the other employee who magically showed up early for her shift, I just so happened to hear through the window that this has been the girls worst Sunday of her life as she's been alone here for 8 hours and it's been nonstop busy. This isn't acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. Not to mention the girl made my smoothie bowl without gloves on which is common practice in the food industry. 0 damn stars. "Rude" I also have a food allergy and I was to supposed to get the angel food smoothie but what I got wasn't that I AM ALERGIC TO PAPAYA - My drink should have been pink instead it was purple-brownish and the fear of having to stab myself with an Eppy-pin I had to toss my drink in the trash. We are frequent customers and will never take the 15 min drive to get there again. Update; tried again after rebuild. Same issues. I had to order my smoothie 3 times. Ordered my mothers first and then i ordered mine. Thought it was going to be easy breezy. But nope.. they employee at the drive through asked what did you want again 4 times and i said it clear everytime without getting mad. Good smoothies, terrible staff. There's a dude up there who's pretty consistent, you're lucky if you get him. If you get one of the college age girls that think they're too cool to care about work, you're in for a randomized smoothie, because they never make any two the same. The girl inside was sooo sweet and patient. I got the peach plus and I regret only getting the medium. It was so good! I love smoothie king. I always get the same thing. I have never been to this one but went by because we went to the beach. The girls that took our order were grumpy from the start. A $10 smoothie is a lot as is but when I went to pull away it tasted like water. It was gross. So I backed up and went back to the window and said I was sorry but asked them to please remake it. They said it was my fault basically bc of how I ordered it..... I've ordered this smoothie hundreds of times. So they made it again and it was same way. When I order a medium smoothie and you make a small smoothie by "mistake", I expect you to remake a medium smoothie with the medium amount of ingredients. At first, my go to was a chocolate peanut butter concoction that my lovely associate made for me, but as of now ladies and gents, robots and wizards, THE HULK is my number one recommendation if you're in a "savory" sweet mood, and I usually pick the strawberry flavor.
