She said yes, pointed to the sign, and told me the hours were posted there. I explained that I wasn't sure because when I pulled up, I wasn't acknowledged at all. Her response was that she was "in the middle of a conversation." Like...what?! I completely understand being in the middle of a conversation, but a smile, a wave, or even a quick "Good morning, I'll be right with you" would have made the entire interaction completely different. At that point, I politely told her I'd rather order somewhere else. She insisted it was okay to order, and I politely insisted that we'd rather go elsewhere. It was just a really weird experience, especially since it was my first time there and I had been genuinely excited to try the place.
