    Egg sandwich and breakfast potatoes
    Brianna C.

Stopped by this spot to grab some breakfast this morning and it was just what I needed. I got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes and it was delicious! I was seated as soon as I walked in right at the bar. It was a little smaller than expected inside so keep that in mind if you are coming with a large party. Overall, service and food were great. The cherry on top is that the menu is reasonably priced!

Such a cute little spot. We waited about 5 minutes for a table, but it can certainly get busy. We ordered a cinnamon roll to share, the frenchie, and chicken bacon ranch skillet. All of the food comes out so warm and it was all really good. I really enjoyed it. Only thing was we missed the seasonal menu since the sign fell but guess that means we must go back.

Canopy Road is quickly becoming my most favorite breakfast place. I've been twice so far, and have plans to go back soon. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, and have seating inside and out. It was a little noisy inside so we opted to sit outside both times that I've been. They seem to stay steadily busy, but haven't had a ridiculously long wait. The servers have all been very friendly, and quick on their feet. There isn't usually much of a delay from the time you sit to the time you get your food. The food... The food has been fantastic. Everything that I have seen come out at my table (and others) have looked spectacularly delicious. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast!

This is the perfect morning breakfast restaurant with the friendliest staff. The food is also very good. We went with a fairly large group of 7 and the squeezed us in a booth. While large groups may be difficult to accommodate, the were so kind when the kids spilled a glass of orange juice all over my omlet and they remade it for me. Perfect regularly visited breakfast cafe.

Canopy road was bustling when we opened the door to enter. I have been trying to go to Canopy for months. Due to work and simply no time, I could not mustard any time. We were seated immediately and I was into the world all things Canopy. I opted for the Dagwood sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fires wer crisp and hot. Wifey got what I usually get. The Dagwood was enormous and I had to take it home. A triple decker sandwich with turkey, ham, tomato, lettuce, provolone cheese. It was misssing something. I do not know what but it was tasty. The corn beef looked overcooked for our liking. The grits looked lumpy. However, wifey enjoy her breakfast. I washed it all down with a cup of joe and wifey had a coke. Our server was attentive and on it. This was a very well received excuarion to the Canopy for lunch and wont be the last! Wifey is already planning her return visit. With the ladies after shopping in Mandarin The meal was worth the months of waiting. Until...

Great food and service. Highly recommend their sweet potatoes pancakes! Their friendly staff also make this a nice spot to relax and enjoy a nice breakfast.

Came here for a late breakfast after seeing this place on my Instagram feed. We started with OJs, and asked if they did mimosas, which they did but it wasn't on the menu so that was a plus! It is not a huge restaurant but it was a nice setup. I ordered the surfer girl omelet and added corned beef hash to it with the breakfast potatoes and a side of the French toast as well. My husband ordered the steak wrap with breakfast potatoes as well. Both came out looking good and it all tasted even better! The food and drinks were great, definitely coming back!

Recently, I was staying in Jacksonville while on a work trip and had breakfast delivered via DoorDash to the hotel. My boyfriend thought Mickey pancakes would cheer me up, and they did! They are super cute and tasty. Overall, it was a pretty good breakfast. I would order again, but the area does have some locations I enjoyed a little better.

We dropped in about an hour before closing and the staff was warm and friendly. The ambiance is cozy and quaint. We were in a hurry and our server was very accommodating to get us our food and bill as quickly as possible, and we appreciated it. I ordered the pork chops with eggs over easy and grits with toast. The meal was tasty and the portions were generous. My youngest had the kid breakfast and though he is a picky eater, he ate all his food and some of my grits and toast. He left saying how he loved the restaurant. My teen ordered chicken and waffles and asked that they be separated. He also enjoyed his meal. The chicken was light flaky and fresh. Our table guest ordered the chocolate chip pancakes & they loved them. Overall it was a win. I did add a little more seasoning to my plate, but it allowed me to season to taste. I walked away feeling satisfied and pleased. I would highly recommend.

They've all kinds of coffee drinks, boba & specialty flavored teas, wonderful savory & sweet food choices, & even veg-friendly options! (As a veg-head, I greatly appreciate this ) The food portions are larger than I thought they'd be. We got a few different things to try... Kuki Butter Latte- coffee is truly bright & flavorful. The sweet cream foam adds the perfect amount of sweetness to top off the caramel drizzle & crushed cookies in the cup. Deviled Egg waffle- now you *know* I had to add avocado to this. It wasn't exactly what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of an egg salad situation & not just sliced pieces of egg. Still flavorful. The spicy mayo isn't as spicy as I thought it was going to be as well. Definitely a "knife & fork" style of eating on this one. Grilled Cheez It, Brah waffle- cheese pull 9/10! A couple of different savory cheeses in this one perfectly pair with the crisp exterior & light sweetness of the waffle. LOVED this! Chicken Sammie waffle- (described by my hubby, as I am a vegetarian & cannot eat this) fried chicken patty is moist, the right amount of thickness, & flavorful. Mayo, pickles, lettuce, & cheddar cheese ratios make this sandwich rather delightful. All in all... great food. Amazing portions for the prices. Healthy, clean options. If you're looking for FAST... this may not be the place for you. In my opinion, no food made quickly ever tasted as good as that which took a little more time. ‍ We will definitely be coming back

With a party of 5, our food came out in good time and we got an array of items-- from a breakfast croissant sandwich to little pastries, everything was wonderful. Most of us ended up trying their seasonal matcha drink which was a linzer matcha that came with black cherry and a pistachio cold foam. It has a specific taste but I liked it a lot! It's not a mix of flavors I'd normally think of but I ended up finishing my drink which I don't always do, even with matcha drinks. The croissants & bread were fresh and each dish was beautifully plated. I love a dish that both looks good and tastes good and it delivered both. The outdoor patio is covered and a great spot to enjoy your meal if the weather is beautiful and breezy which is was the day we dined here. The inside is also such a cute vibe. Our visit to Biscottis in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood managed to do both. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated immediately, and the atmosphere had a welcoming energy that made the restaurant feel like a true neighborhood gathering place. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and after the first bite we both knew it was something special. The crust was delicate and buttery while the filling was rich and perfectly balanced. It was so impressive that we awarded it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best dish recognition, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. Peter went in a different direction and ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with house made white cheddar hash browns. The pancakes were flavorful and comforting, and the hash browns were crispy with bold cheddar flavor that made them impossible to stop eating. Another thing we appreciated was learning that Biscottis carries the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, recognizing restaurants that support sustainable agriculture and local food traditions. The service throughout the visit was cheerful and attentive, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. If you enjoy restaurants that combine great brunch dishes, incredible desserts, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere, Biscottis is definitely worth visiting.

The burger is greasy/wet, it is drenched in a bland cheese sauce, the meat is underseasoned, and the patty has no sear. Definitely not worth anything near the $21 cost. The salmon BLT is served on bread that is cut so thick you're mostly just eating old/stale bread, and the sandwich is also greasy. Their french fries come drenched in a disgusting garlic oil and cheap grated parmesan. It's bad cooking dressed up to look fancy without any understanding of the basics. The restaurant fits as well. Its ugly artwork is accompanied by furniture that looks like it was ripped out of a Le Pain Quotidien. The cakes look amazing, and the bar is nicely designed and well stocked, but neither saves the drab surrealist-cafeteria vibe of this pretentious establishment.

My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.
