1 Pancake Cafe Combo

When working in Jacksonville, I ordered Uber Eats to the office for a nice bit of breakfast while training. I've heard good things about Keke's Breakfast Cafe and specifically, their pancakes. What I Ordered: - Orange Juice: your typical orange juice. - Pancake: pretty good, but definitely had better at another mom & pop cafe this trip. - Over Easy Eggs: cooked well, and survived while on the journey over via Uber Eats. - Potatoes: these were decent, but nothing stood out about these versus any other breakfast joint. Overall, a decent meal at the comfort of my desk. I'd order here again if I'm sent back to Jacksonville for work. Worth checking out if in the area.

Very large portions, the pancakes were amazing! Very soft and the biggest ones I've seen in my life, but the French toast was a little dry. The sausage and bacon are pretty good as well!

Keke's Breakfast I thought would be in like of 1st Watch but it's more like Bob Evan's or Dennys. The inside of the restaurant is CLEAN with plenty of choices to sit. The menu is APPEALING. There are many options to choose from for breakfast or brunch. The Kids Menu also has descent. The food is SUBPAR. I could have done better at home. My order: French Toast with scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes. The French Toast had an enticing presentation but the bread was HARD. I tried to drizzle in syrup to soften it until I gave up all together. I asked for scrambled eggs but I received a FLAT egg patty that taste DRY and reminded me of McDonald's. The tomato slices were hard and FRESH and the best part of my meal :-(. My drink was a sangria. It was OKAY. I'm convinced it was made with grape juice not wine. It was served picturesque and made for a nice pic. The service was not memorable. Overall, just a SIMPLE 3 STARS. Do not expect much here. The food is EDIBLE though.

First time visiting and eating at keke's breakfast and it did not disappoint! I was craving for French toast and luckily keke's has French toast and even better they have stuffed French toast! I ordered the Nutella with banana but instead of banana I got strawberry and it was amazing! I also ordered the scrambler bowl and omg! It's the best! My husband ordered the Greek omelette and he said it was very good as well! Rona was our server and she did an amazing job! She was very quick and nice. This location is located at the shopping center at San Jose, definitely lots of parking spot. I also believe that this location is new which works for us since it is the closest Kekes breakfast! This will be now our go to restaurant place from now on

This was my very first time at Keke's and Donte was my server. We had excellent service. The turkey sausage was cold in the middle but Sonte quickly replaced my sad pale sausage with some crispy bacon. I ordered the strawberry stuffed French Toast and it was the perfect start to my day. I highly recommend that you visit early if not, be prepared to wait for a table.

Some mornings just feel like a reward for showing up in life--and this was one of them. A mountain of crispy bacon piled next to perfectly seasoned potatoes loaded with melty cheese and smoky goodness--every bite tasted like someone in that kitchen actually cared about your morning. The French toast was golden, buttery, dusted in powdered sugar, and paired with a scoop of butter that melted into happiness. Hot sauce options ready for action, strong diner coffee poured without asking, and ice water keeping pace--simple things done exceptionally well. No pretension. No nonsense. Just comfort food that reminds you why breakfast is the most hopeful meal of the day. If you're having a tough week--this place will fix it. I left full, happy, caffeinated...

is was our first time here and was very excited to try something new. I will start with the service. Our server (out of respect will not use the name) was not as attentive to say the least. The server saw the eggs were fried and not over easy and the pancakes were over cooked but rather than having the cook redo it he brought it out, acknowledged the situation and to their credit offered to redo it. A true professional would not have brought it out knowing up front was wrong. I will say the young lady who took out ticket was great!! She was geniune with her smile and friendly.

We went to Keke's for lunch and had a short wait, but once our name was called, we were seated right away. Our server greeted us promptly, took our drink order, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. When she brought our drinks, I told her I couldn't decide what to order and asked for her recommendation. She suggested the steak omelet with home potatoes and a side of cinnamon roll pancakes--and let me tell you, it was one of the best meals I've ever had at Keke's! Our server was fantastic--she kept our drinks filled, checked in often, and even made sure we were all set after we'd paid and lingered at the table chatting for a bit. If you're not sure what to order, definitely give the steak omelet a try. You won't be disappointed!

This is a very disappointing review that I'm writing. First, we were told 10 minute wait time. We were seated rather quickly. The restaurant was busy but not too busy. The waitress was very nice and polite. Our order was taken quickly too. I ordered make my own combo 2 French toast eggs and bacon. He order a fried chicken salad. Here's where it went down hill. They did not have Dr Pepper and the Root Beer was not good. They didn't have clean knives due to dishwasher issues. We were given plastic silverware to use the knives. The food took a very long time to arrive. By the time the food arrived, his chicken was cold. They cooked him some fresh chicken. By the time he got his chicken for his salad, I was finished with my breakfast. The waitress was very sympathetic and kept checking on us. I am writing this review while he is eating. He is so disappointed, we may not return.

The ambiance was nice. The wait was short. Greeted very politely. The lighting was nice. The decor was on point. It was a bit warm in there, but it was a hot day. We had Jill as a server and wow was she entertaining. We will definitely sit in her section again. The menu was what you would expect from a breakfast place. I had the blueberry pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. It was delicious. We will definitely be eating here again soon.

What a yummy breakfast! Started off with Peach Bellini, very simple but delicious. Love the fact you can get a combo with any flavor of pancake, waffle or French toast (1 or 2 pieces) with eggs and meat. Eggs cooked perfectly and the banana, pecan, caramel French toast was perfection. Service was prompt and our hostess was very attentive. Clean and loved the booth concept as it really tones down all the conversations (was packed for Sunday breakfast). Definitely recommend for a very wonderful breakfast. Need to come back and try lunch.

Sat down right away. We ordered drinks and our food. I had ordered a hot tea but she didn't bring sugar, I had to ask for it. And she only brought one kind not even sugar substitutes. Once we got our food, we had to ask for utensils, they should have been at the table or brought with food. The food was not amazing just ok. Our server acted like she was either rushed or not fully there. Even if you're having a bad day, you don't show it to your customers. It wasn't super busy, but it also wasn't dead. I gave the vibe of relaxing brunch place.

Oops, started to eat before I took a photo of the Southwest Omelet....

There were roughly 15 people at the party and she kept the food and drinks coming all night with a friendly smile. I started with the guava gimlet made with Wheatley Vodka, guava, pineapple, simple and lime. It was sweet and refreshing. We were served a few appetizers including creamy artichoke dip served with homemade chips which were tasty. My friend and I ordered the charcuterie board which hit the spot! You could top the meat cheeses and sauces on to either homemade crackers or French bread. I highly recommend the board if you are looking for something light.

Luckily, we were waiting for someone in our party, so the wait wasn't too bad. Now the FOOD? Absolutely AMAZING! Everything from the chicken and waffles to the sandwiches, breakfast plates, and sweet treats was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were refreshing, service was excellent, and even the bathrooms were spotless! The restaurant itself has a really cool, rustic atmosphere. My only two minor complaints were the seating and noise. If your party is larger than 5-6 people, you may end up sharing a high-top table with another group, separated by a small divider. We also got seated toward the back near a group that was EXTREMELY loud. Listen, I'm all for having a good time, but WHEW, they were enjoying themselves enough for everybody! Outside of those two things, I really enjoyed the experience! Great food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Those minor seating issues are the only reason I'm giving it a 4.5 instead of a perfect 5. We'll absolutely be back because brunch was fantastic, but now I need to see what that DINNER menu is talking about! Shoutout to our amazing server Stephanie as well, oh guys this place takes tap to pay !!

We came for a little happy hour after work recently and I got my favorite drink - espresso martini. Of course. And I will always mention the nice little carafe you get with the rest of the shaker. Recent years I have not gone as much; a few visits (not to this location but in other states) were not quite what I remembered. Nonetheless, we were in town for the night, and this location was within walking distance from our hotel. We arrived slightly before our reservation and were seated quickly. Our server came to the table and was very polite, took our drink order, and quickly returned. My wife had a glass of red wine (I can't remember which), and for me a Vodka martini with olives. My drink was good and exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. For appetizers, we ordered the Avocado Bomb, ahi tuna, crab salad, crispy wontons, and the fire-grilled artichokes with rémoulade. The artichokes were just okay, and honestly I'm not sure how much was the restaurants fault or the fact that artichokes are a pain to eat and theirs nothing to them but chewy leaves (the rémoulade was good though!). The Avocado Bomb was very good, although one critique was that, while, yes, it was crab salad at the bottom, the crab was nearly shredded, but overall a good dish! I opted for Prime Rib (as rare as they could get it to me), with au jus and smashed potatoes. My wife decided on the Carolina Crab Cakes, jumbo lump crab, chili mayonnaise, mustard sauce, French fries, and Southern coleslaw. I also opted for a side of horseradish sauce per our server's recommendation. I will say that I've ordered prime rib before in similar chain restaurants (some of them chain steakhouses), and without fail they come out nearly well done. The excuse is always because "it's precooked and it is cooked to a certain temp...blah, blah, blah". Yet, I ordered it here, and it was cooked exactly as I wanted it. Now, I won't claim it was a great cut of beef, but it was good and did the trick. The potatoes were good as well. The horseradish sauce, though, had far too much mayo in it and tasted like it. But still a dish I would order again! My wifes crab cakes were very good as well, a great amount of lump crab meat without the filler you see so often. The coleslaw was typical coleslaw, tasteless and pointless when you have a dish at market price. But the fries were good! Overall, we had a good experience; the service and food were very good. If in the area again, we would certainly return, and this may have me visit other J. Alexander's during my travels elsewhere.
